Have a good one pholks....heading to Tucson EARLY in the morning......
Try to get a good night's sleep. You have a long drive ahead of you at Oh Dark Thirty, but I am sure you'll make a Buck Ninety Eight, so you won't be overly unhappy. o_O
Yak at ya tomorrow night.

Well, thank Gawd for that... I mean, I'd rather the fat bitches with their britches halfway down their ass crack NOT be in the store where I cannot help but see their gross bodies.
And then there's the skinny ass punks that never got the memo to wear boxers if they are going to wear their pants below the ass. Who the hell wants to see their skid marked tidy whities?

Not me or anyone I know with any common sense or sense of decency, which all those bad dressers clearly do not have. I, personally, do not want to see any part of anyone's body while I am shopping. It just is really uncool for me to feel like I have to barf while I am in a store because some skinny bitch is showing most of her boobs (not interested - and the bigger they are, the more gross they are) and has a tattoo on her belly of a large curved arrow pointing down with fuzzy lettering that says "fuck here." Why have so many people on this planet become so sickeningly stupid?

I blame social media such as Tweeter, YouTube, and Face Plant. The more people post inane bullshit, the more the kids cannot tell reality from fantasy.

I don't use any of those social bullshit things (this thread is as close as I get to social media), but from what I know of them, I'd agree there's a few million people learning how to be absolute morons by following the brainless suggestions (what do they call that? Group Think?). Oh well... with any luck, someone will tell them to go jump off a really tall bridge and they will actually do it.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Monday said it had ordered Transdev North America to immediately stop transporting school children in Florida in a driverless shuttle, as the testing could be putting them at "inappropriate" risk.

Well duh...

Everyone have a nice day?
Not really. It was monthly shopping day. Too long, too many stores to visit, too much remodeling inside those stores (meaning I could not find shit where it should have been), home and unload, then evening chores, then quick dinner, and at the moment, I am not sure which end is supposed to be up. AND... the hay guy is gonna be here early tomorrow morning, so I won't even be able to have my morning coffee before he wants to unload a truck full. And this is all just a bad dream, right?

Ain't that what you signed up for when you bought the place? You get to stay busy. Never a dull moment. By that logic, you should be happy.

I would rather of went shopping today, even as much as I despise shopping. Inspected a huge office building, three story, bout 80K sf.....shit load of air conditioning units....the worst part, counting, documenting the tonnage age and brand, then figuring out what it's gonna cost to repair-replace them for the next 1-10 yrs....

Hopefully it's a nice day to unload and restack Hay tomorrow.....meaning NO rain....!
Rain not in the forecast, and given these hay bales are 3'x3'x7', they get unloaded and stacked with his skid steer (costs extra - mine can't handle the weight).

I was thinking a few days back... if you were to inspect my house for a pending sale, it would only take you less than five minutes to slap a "condemned" sign on the door and go home. It would cost far more than this place is worth just to bring it up to code.

Holy shit, don't think I've ever seen bales that large. This the newest gig?....huge bales?
What he does for other customers is 3.5'x3.5'x8' -- they replace the large round bales because they can be stacked in a large shed, but those dimensions will not even fit in my tiny barn, so he downsized just for us. The small squares of the good old days are way too expensive now.

Learn something each day....I didn't even know there were size options.

How do you handle those huge bales once their stacked? Bust one open and grab a lil at a time?
Cut the strings, then pull off a couple inches for each animal.

Today's balers can be programmed for just about anything, but the reason I said the old fashioned small bales are too expensive is the time it takes to make them, pick them up, and stack for storage, reload on the truck and unload at the destination. The big bales can be jabbed with spears on a tractor (skid steer) and the little bales require too much hand work.
What do they weight.....each?
Ours are about 1000 pounds, and we can only fit 18 of them in our small hay room, so he'll have to come back with another load in February so we can make it through the winter.

Well at least the weather isn't too bad in your neck of the woods.

EDIT: according to the guessers...I'm not sure what is actually occurring.....:teehee:

Ah. The round bales. We see em every day around these parts. If ya wanna see bigger, the cotton bales will do that.

I think we were in the high 60s today and probably mid-60s tomorrow, with 30 mph "breeze" and only a couple small clouds wandering around (overcast by Friday night).
