It sounds very promising. The V.A. has had me on hydrocodone since 1998 (I took a year off on my own accord - no withdrawals, but nothing else would stop my pain, so I had to start again). I do not fear this pill and I have no adverse side effects. but f there is something natural that is just as good......

Those pills are rough on the kidneys and liver, as I'm sure you know. I used to have pain in my kidneys when taking the BP shit, not anymore, feel like a million bucks (that i don't have).....:)

I have read many reviews (don't know if they were Green and White Meng Da) where some people love it and it works great and others say it didn't do a damn thing for them. Lannie and I are pretty much the same as far as what works for one will work for the other. My deal is that, in being a disabled veteran, I get my pills for only $8 a month, and I already know I can quit hydrocodone cold turkey without withdrawals, but can my wallet stand the change?
You will pay more for Kratom than your current prescription meds.
I have tried 3 varieties of Kratom so far.
Got mine from Mitragia.com. quite a bit cheaper than Beaufort. Any worse or better I personally cannot say.
7 one oz packs of powder sampler pack for $30 and got 2 other varieties from a very nice person :)

I will tell ya this so far If I could still get presc pain pills I would. They work better for me than the Kratom so far.
However the Kratom MAY wind up working better than the non prescription pain pills.

And ignore the Red, White, Green, etc names as far as real color goes. All are green and taste like powdered rabbit food :)
Taste VERY Green but not bitter so far.
I get little green burps from the capsules :)
got some caps from Amazon and been stuffing a few. First few time was a bit on spoon dump in mouth and wash down with several gulps of Mt Dew :)

Tried Green Borneo and Green Bali. Both seem fair on pain. Although I think my dosages are still pretty low.
2 00 size caps in the morning and evening.

Tried Red Bali
Not so much on pain relief but like green vallium.
Helps with sleep and stress.

think I will try White Bali tomorrow.
and or maybe Elephant?

The following is not political, just educational.
Skynet phase 1?

yes used for political misdirection but also used for business and advertising, etc.
A growing thing.
A bad thing imho.

Mostly cloudy and in the high 30s-to-low 40s all day with occasional rain showers and plenty of wind. The sun came out for an hour or so in the afternoon and we hit 54 degrees, then after sunset, back to 35... Forecast says that on Wednesday... yes, May 1st... we will get more snow. :(

I have found some at $19.95 for 100grams. Given that the capsules I make (00) would be approximately 500mg each, that implies I will get 200 capsules per 100g baggie. I have noticed across the various sites, claims that you need to take anywhere from 2 to 5 capsules to be equivalent to one hydrocodone pill. If it is just 2, I don't find that to be a problem, but given that I take 2 hydrocodone 4 times per day, if the requirement is 5:1, then I would need 16 kratom per day. That sounds excessive to me and it also would be quite spendy, making that $20 bag last only 12 days, or about $46 (plus postage, plus capsules) instead of the $8 I pay the VA for my pills. So how much of this stuff are you guys taking? I also see that certain colors (flavors? Bali? Thai?) are for euphoria or pain or just not caring... at which point I say "wait a fucking minute!" I want pain relief, NOT a damn stupidity drug. What gives with that shit?

I've tried all the various strains, the maeng da takes pain away, but you'll spend much more on any type of kratom than your script costs. I spend more too, but I like my kidneys and liver more than money......:)

Nice sentiment, Dale, but 1) my last tests indicate there is no problem with my organs and 2) you must first have the money to be able to spend it.
When I was taking opiates my kidney and liver function was off, now they are both normal. But I was taking considerably more of big pharma's garbage than you.

I try to keep BigFuckya... sorry, Pharma... to a minimum, using herbs wherever possible. I take hydrocodone for pain and amiloride (special diuretic) for high BP and no other prescriptions. Yeah, there are some vitamin pills, but I don't consider those as BigPharma.

Now that it is after midnight again, I need to curl up with a gang of putty tats and cut some Zzzzs.

The Monoject Syringe of this product may become difficult to express, and when additional force is applied, while the needle is in the eye, may cause injury to the patient.

The additional force needed to express the drug product could potentially result in damage to the eye while the needle is in the eye. To date, AmEx Pharmacy has received three reports associated with the Lot being recalled as either being difficult to express, two of which, resulted in an Adverse Drug Event.

Good lord, incredible........

"Adverse Drug Event" probably means permanent blindness....just a roundabout way of saying it.

Yeah, like if I had age-related macular degeneration, I'm gonna let someone stick a needle in my eye, then push harder and harder until they rip off my retina. Right....

It was 85 degrees at about 9:00 this morning, now it feels like it's about 68 degrees....unbelievable. Don't ever remember crazy ass weather like this in the past, although my mind could be slipping too.

And it rained a lil this afternoon.

Amazingly, we did not get rain, although the rough overcast certainly looked like it was gonna dump on us. 30 ºF was the low this morning and 40 ºF was the high this afternoon. Wind blew at about 30 mph all damn day.

No, it certainly is not "normal," but it is possible and it has happened before since we have lived here (e.g., snow in May), but by the rules of average weather (ya, know, what is normal and what is not), this shit should not be happening, neither to us or to you.

Well off to bed.
If it does not rain me out I will be tearing off the scorched siding from the end of the house in prep for putting up posts and header boards.
Siding off wrap up. then after header boards and such cement lap siding.

It's spring on the northern plains. We ALWAYS have wind, it's just worse in the spring. It SEEMS like it's worse in the winter, but actually I think that's only because it's colder and the wind chill is brutal, but the actual wind speeds are worse in the spring, as the weather is changing. It was that way back in the warmer climate of Oregon, too. Man, in Gresham (suburb east of Portland) you could tell it was spring by how many garbage cans rolled by you in an hour. :teehee: It was pretty bad there because of the funneling effect of the Columbia Gorge, to be fair. It wasn't THAT windy elsewhere, but definitely worse than 'average' in the spring.

And yes, it's snowing outside right now. It'll melt in a few hours, but for the moment, anyway, it's coming down and there's a light 'powdered sugar' dusting all over everything. The forecast says 1 to 3 inches today and another 1 to 3 inches tomorrow. With a high only expected to be 39, and a "breeze" of 20 to 25 mph, I'm gonna have to make the baby chicks and their mom stay inside again today, and probably tomorrow, too. I'm taking them some Quaker oats and cat food crumbles when we go do chores. I should have boiled some eggs and mashed them, or made some rice or clabber or something yesterday, but I totally forgot until it was too late to start. I hate having to raise chicks, which is why I much prefer their mamas to do it. They do a better job anyway. This ditzy little hen just decided to sit on her pile of eggs way too early. If she'd waited a few weeks, she could have had much better weather, and they'd be out running around the place enjoying the sunshine and hunting for bugs instead of being locked up in the barn. Well, at least it's snug and dry in there, and the weather's SUPPOSED to start getting better on Thursday with highs in the 60s and no snow predicted, so they can go out then. :) By then we'll be solidly into May, so it should be more like what everyone else thinks of as 'spring,' not this hormonal weather we get up here at the end of winter. ;)

I tried the Elephant last night, pretty good at one spoonful

My test is 2 00 caps full.
Elephant did not seem to work as well on pain as the Green borneo.

today I tried White Bali.
Relaxes me more than Green Borneo.
Seems ok on pain but tends to make me lazy :D

So I did a bit on Porch then made up about 3 quarts of spaghetti sauce (still simmering) and a gallon of so of salad.
Have frozen garlic bread in freezer.

I expect to get bloated later ;)

I know there sure is times that I can use an attitude adjustment.
Need some help getting to sleep as well most of the time.

Once in a great while it is just the ticket

Usually I sleep well without any help, but when I need something I need something. That is what I like CBD for, it just takes that little edge off sometimes

My brainz does not want to slow down enough to fall asleep most of the time.
And with my somewhat decrepit physical condition I cannot exercise enough to get tired for sleep most of the time.
