Damn, that's a lot of popcorn.

Yup, it is global cooling. Our low today was 9 ºF (8.8) this morning. The high was 33 ºF and we are currently down to 16 ºF --- the sky is clear, so it will go a lot lower before sunrise. Luckily, no more garage babies died. They must have cuddled in a pile to stay warm.

SSDD. Pretty windy this morning, which made it too cold to do much outside. Barely breezy right now, but too dark to see outside. :D

Any snow on the ground?

Getting pretty chilly here tonight, upper 40's I believe......we can't just have a month or two of normal weather, has to go from one extreme to the other.

Only a slight dusting left over from a couple days ago.

We never got the hot extreme this entire year. Might have had a day or two where we hit 90 between rain showers, but we usually do a few 100+ days during the summer and they never happened this year. That's OK with me, though, but the continuous rain all summer was not OK because since summer 2018, we have not had any dry ground to work the farm. It might seem dry at the moment, but that's only because it is frozen. Those two kittens have to be cremated because the shovel cannot dig a hole in this dirt.

The products are being recalled to the hospital level due to the presence of particulate matter.

Haven't looked at the today's guess .....let me guess, 6-8 inches of white shit?

Was decent here, about 75 this afternoon, but it felt good this morning in the 50's

I didn't bother to look either, but we got up to 44 ºF today, but the wind was 20 mph gusting to 35 before noonish, so it felt like 33 ºF, and it is 32 ºF outside right now but feels warmer than it did in that wind. No precipitation.

You ever get that pile of shit moved with the BC?
Not yet. In order to keep the cows/horse on the right side of the fences, someone has to stand at the gate and open/close it for Bob to pick up and dump the shit. It has, to date, been too cold and windy for me to make Lannie play that role. As soon as we get a calmer day when it is not raining or snowing, we'll get 'er done.

Hopefully you'll be able to get at it before it's a shit-berg
Yeah, and this late in the season, that'll be hit and miss. It has to be cold enough that Bob doesn't sink into the shit in the pathway, yet not so cold that the stuff I want to scoop up isn't frozen to the ground and I can't dig it up with the bucket. This is why it should have been done in the summer... when Bob was sitting in the parking lot at Iron Horse waiting for them to get off their asses.

Yeah, but with all the rain, you probably would have been fighting every inch of the way

Yup. There would have been no guarantee, at any time during our supposed "summer," that Bob wouldn't have gotten bogged down in deep mud due to all that fucking rain.

Where we really need a border wall is between USA and Canada. It would have to be a couple thousand feet high to keep their damn cold arctic air from crossing without our permission. :D

Yeah, another public demonstration of stupidity and competition to show you are bigger and better than your neighbors. :) Even when I actually participated in the Xmas season (a zillion years ago), I never did any of that exterior decoration crap. And when everyone adds many thousands of watts to their electrical consumption, they bitch about the bills and wonder why the system gets overloaded. And does any of that really have anything to do with what they claim the season is all about? No.

Forgot to mention, they opened a White Castle hamburger joint in Scottsdale a couple weeks ago.....so I thought I'd stop to see if they are still what I remember as a kid....my father used to take us there once in awhile.

They had the fucking cops directly traffic and a road closed....people and cars lined up for probably a half mile.....couldn't believe it....I laughed and made a u-turn

When I was a kid, the Xmas lights went up AFTER thanksgiving and were taken down by New Year.
Yeah, same here...although I never put any up

Back in the good ole days, drunk as a skunk...my GF wanted a christmas tree, so a buddy and me went and cut one down in somebody's front yard, all decorated, just had to plug it in.....

Me neither. The only decorations we ever did was the tree in the living room. Nothing else.

And how long did you spend in jail for that little trick?

Not a moment, but if someone did that to me and I knew who it was, they's prolly have lead in um.

I'm actually lucky to be alive all the crazy shit I did in the 70's--80's.

Driving a 150 mph constantly....no idea how I never got a ticket (or killed).

Driving a 150 mph constantly.
I don't believe I ever exceeded 137 mph and never got a ticket either. But right at the moment, my speeding is directed toward the bed... I'm ready to pass out on the keyboard. Have a good one, amigo, and we'll catch ya later.
