Damn Rich, just looked at the week ahead "guess"......if I remember correctly, this was similar to the forecast in June last year.

Not sure what is actually going on. Yesterday it was 58 ºF and today was 33 ºF (thermometer said we hit 35 ºF, but that couldn't have been more than a couple minutes - neither one of us saw that happen) and the wind was about 30 mph, so the chill factor was around 19 ºF.

Right at the moment, it is 23 ºF with a wind of about 15 mph, so the wind chill is 10 ºF.
Better than -23

Gotta hit the hay, I'm whipped and have a big building first thing in the morning. Have a great Monday....!

Had to take one of our cats to the vet (UTI) but he's gonna be OK. No rain or snow here today, but the sky looked like it was gonna fall on us all day. Got up to 43, but felt like 32. It is currently at 32 and feels like 20. Oh well...

Worst president in the history of the Country.
Without a doubt. I cannot believe how many people still love O'butthead when clearly he was the worst prezdebt ever. Sigh...
Oh, and I finally figured out the translation for "Triggered." It means "fucked in the head."

G'nite Dale. Catch ya tomorrow.

Sorry I didn't show up last night. I had a fever (extremely cold, sweating from the heat, followed by more cold, more heat, more cold...) and I went to bed at 9 PM. Lannie woke me up at 2 AM because she thought I was dead. Other than not being able to balance well, I had no symptoms of anything (i.e., it was not the flu or anything). I no longer have the fever problem tonight, but the old body is still extremely tired from fighting all night (wrap myself tight in blankets, throw them off, wrap up tight, throw them off) and while I obviously didn't get any REM sleep, I also have no memories of being awake, just lack of any brain power at all. Who are you again? :) Anyway, I might crash early again tonight.

FDA Requires Stronger Warning About Risk of Neuropsychiatric Events Associated with Asthma and Allergy Medication Singulair and Generic Montelukast

March 4, 2020 - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today announced that it is requiring a boxed warning – the agency’s most prominent warning – for montelukast (sold under the brand name Singulair and in generic form) to strengthen an existing warning about the risk of neuropsychiatric events associated with the drug, which is used to treat asthma and allergic rhinitis (hay fever). The boxed warning advises health care providers to avoid prescribing montelukast for patients with mild symptoms, particularly those with allergic rhinitis.

Hope you feel better tomorrow, and Lannie doesn't get whatever you have.

I have this strange tendency to be immune to just about every communicable disease, although I occasionally carry one home from a routine visit to a doctor; those are the ones Lannie gets from me. I suspect whatever it is that knocked me out for a couple days was something internal to me alone (such as an infection from passing a kidney stone or something equally silly but internally scratchy). In any case, I appear to be mostly recovered and with any luck will be here later tonight. See ya later. :)

Well, if they had a Village Wise Woman or a Medicine Man who used herbs, they typically got well. If not, they dimply died "of natural causes." :)
Wish I had $.50 cents for every drug on the market.....damn you could live high on the hog....:)
