72 ta 36?....oh my my......Sorry I am so late. Day 1 of DST is messing with my mind and I guess I fell asleep with the cats and... well, I am awake for a couple minutes anyway.
Oh, that 72F we had yesterday... well, the high was 36 today and it is only 26 at the moment.
That "windy as hell" part is really bugging me around here. When we went out for chores this morning, it was 35 with about 30 mph wind ("feels like" 21).80 + yesterday but windy as hell
That nutty wind is bone chilling. Wasn't that windy here, guess I should have said light breeze at 15 mphThat "windy as hell" part is really bugging me around here. When we went out for chores this morning, it was 35 with about 30 mph wind ("feels like" 21).
Obviously not too well. Seems I fell asleep about 10 PM and woke up only long enough around 11:30 to pull a blanket over myself. Sorry I missed you. I'll try to stay awake tonight. How's that daylight savings time working out?...........
Well, you are downhill from them by about 3,000 feet.I think everything from Flag drains to the Phx area.
Otay, me go... Ima gonna crawl under da kitties too. See ya later.Gotta hit the rack Rich....I'm whipped again......
Said "Winter Storm Warning"...whatever that is considered now......As of this morning, I would have said 98% of our snow was gone. It is currently 24 degrees with about a 20-25 mph wind and it has been snowing for about 6 hours. The whole world is white again and it is damn fucking cold out there.
From the looks of your RADAR images last night, it rather looked like the whole Phoenix area was about to get pounded. Was a shitty day here ... Rained like mad last night, woke me up at about 1:00 AM, was raining like no tomorrow.
I'm not ready for the heat, but I'm sure you are more than ready.....since you haven't felt any in over a year. From the looks of your RADAR images last night, it rather looked like the whole Phoenix area was about to get pounded.
So are you ready for real summer yet? I sure as hell am.
Yeah green anything is a plus. Green grass is a plus plus......!Yeah, we didn't even touch the 100 mark last year and normally go over that line several times in July/August. I admit that I, too, do not want that heat, but I'd sure love some 70-80s and no more gawd-damn mother fucking white shit coating the landscape. I saw a few blades of green struggling to come up out of the ground and now they're buried again. Only five bales of hay left, so I'd be real happy for pasture grass for all the critters.
Haven't heard from him nor seen any posts.Speaking of green, I was standing at the garden gate the other day. Most of the snow had melted in there and I was pondering the long list of things that needs to be done to prep that place. That, of course, made me think of Jimi. Have you heard anything from him lately? I hope he's OK.
Oh yeah....was an easy day....how bout you?So are ya back from Casa Grande yet?
Incredible, so much for that slight warming spell you had...........Don't I wish....
Snowed all morning. A few bare patches of ground where the wind blew the snow away and a few places 2-feet deep where the wind piled it up. The wind this morning was about 25 mph with gusts to 40 (maybe a couple even hit 50). The wind is pretty steady now at 20 mph, but at least it isn't snowing at the moment. The temperature never got above 25 all day.
