Well most of these shots are between 30-120 shots...the juice well on the Aeronaut is almost 12mm deep...so Id wager its around 90+ for that one

What was the diameterWell tried to post my pic was a bit too big gonna have to shrink it at my comp. nut i am running a 24 guage 5 wrap sleeper build at 0.3. Works well for me made one the other day at 0.1 and decided to rewrap it.

Hey guysIm brand new to the site. Ive been vaping and building for about 6 months. I have a bunch of mods, regulated and mechanical. I am finding my niche in the squonking world for sure. For squonkers, I have a lost vape therion bf and a coppervape mech squonk, love them both but finding my mechs to be the most satisfying and gratifying. Just got this pulse 22 bf atty to add to my single coil flavor attys, among them are narda, hadaly, the flave and lil origen. This pulse 22 is really killing it, giant clouds with stellar flavor. Settingthe coil up high really lets this baby shine. Here is the latest build, all kanthal clapton 26/32 paralleled with 24g. 3mm ID 4 wraps ohms out at .24. Love my single coil attys, narda and the flave are just as great. No matter what, I just cannot get the flavor out of any of my dual coil setups. Anyways, thought I'd share because this baby is amazing on my mech squonk. Hard to beat so far.
Not sure what happened, but made my first set of alien-ed staples. One wrapped nicely. The other opened up like a spring after wrapping. Same method same care. Any advice on how to un-spring it so it will fit in a 24mm rda and still look decent? Or scrap it and make another?

Glad your enjoying it...mine sits on the shelf...I like alot of heat and a saturated vape so most single coil RDAs dont really give me that unless I put in dual coils in the single coil RDAs....I really wish I could get that same experience...it can become close but then the cotton dryhits quickly....
I am however a big Squonking fan...currently have 3 squonkers in my possession and 8 more in transit..Im also a big mech/Parallel box/Tube fan, only regulated mod Ive enjoyed is the Hohm Wrecker G2 (because its power delivery is in RMS and is mech-like and fires down to .007 Ohms).
One of my favorite Squonk RDAs is a clone believe it or not. Its Authentic counterpart doesnt allow a bottom feeder pin. Its the YFTK Reload V1.2 RDA from 3fvape. ITs chamber is pretty small and the way it points the coils and has them almost touching each other over bottom airflow the vape is fantastic and you dont need a lower resistance build to get the vape I like...3 or 4 core SS aliens (4 Wraps/3mm ID) will do better then fine in it and its around $15. I love it on my Boxer BF (I did have to used a insulator from a different RDA as the boxer doesnt have a adjustable 510)...but its one of my ULTIMATE SETUPS and I feel the same way, where I want to shove it in everyones face to look and try it...
Another ULTIMATE RDA is a Gorge RDA Ultem topcap on any of these decks (TM24/Goon V1-1.5/Skywalker/Conspiracy). The Skywalker is only $15 on 3fvape and the Gorge is $20 and it offers a metal and ultem cap to use...Id pay the $20 just for one of these caps. The magic of it is is reduced chamber. It makes any of these the size of the Goon LP but utilizes the decks you choose, so the only room there is in the RDA is for a coil (up to 3.5mm), cotton, and the air passing by it. All these decks are incredibly versatile for coil building and the topcap on the makes the flavor output better then the Petri with the Stock Cap.
Gorge Caps on the Conspiracy RDA and the Goon 1.5 RDA.

After just twisting together 24g kanthal for a while I finally decided to try something different. Took me a while but finally got some claptons. SS26g/KA132g. These aren't my first ones, more like my 10th try, maybe even more. 
I really like how the pulse24 RDA looks on the predator though.

ok here is my attempt to para-clapton without wasting wire. i got a spool of fishing line thats the same size as 38g. it seemed to work well enough. i had a couple snags when i was unwrapping it, but i think that was my lack of experience in general, and not a problem with the fishing line...it also looks like the line i unwrapped is ok to try using a second time.

Thats weird. You kept tension on it the whole time you were wrapping? If anything I kept more tension on the sprung coil.
Spaced the other out and gave the set to a buddy that vapes giant rda's. Just couldn't throw em away.
That almost looks like an Area 51 coil. I've seen YouTube videos of those, and they look pretty badass.

Chalked it up as a fluke.
Most likely won't deal with unframed staples much, if at all. Gave them to someone who could use them, so they have a good home and all is well.
UD prebuilt ss clapton. I think 5 wraps, the half wrap rule throws me off. When I plugged this build into vape tool, it said I should get about 0.2. Not digging it at all on my new mech. No heat, no cloud. No happy..

That's 5-1/2 wraps, aka 5/6 wraps. 90% of people don't realize this - including many coil makers. Legs pointing in opposite directions (like for the Hadaly RDA) are full wraps.
No shit? Damn learn something new everyday. So if the coil is like the picture then there's a half wrap. That shit always confused me. Thanks man
