Really love that SSFC Meg! It colored up very nicely. Super clean work!
I was gonna do the exact same build when I got off work today cause I'm getting out a little early but you put a lot of plys in there. I like mine around 6 plys so it essentially won't look as cool as yours.
But you are the better builder.

That's a good job man. The first three wraps were dead on. What I like to use are nylon pliers and I wrap my staple variants rather slowly so if I see the wire start to twist I can grab it with the nylon pliers and straighten out the wire. When I first started doing framed staple stuff the same exact thing would happen to me. The only difference now is I go slowly and keep those nylon pliers handy. The next framed staple you make will be perfect!Framed staple. 28x 8ply*3 36 wrap. Closed up on me at the end but the first time I've had *3 to work for me. Tried a staggered fused clapton earlier. Went ok but gotta work on my staggering. Figure out what's going to work best. Tried the loop method. Couldn't keep tension and wrap and all. Need work but I'll get it. I got this staple.

I've only done this build once so I'm no expert in interlocking aliens. Yours looks pretty good. The only thing I did differently as opposed to a regular alien is I just led the wire a hair more, just a tiny amount. I figured since you have two wires instead of one leading it just the slightest bit more might make sense. It ended up working for me I dunno if that's going to help you, I don't ever plan on doing the build again haha. Your well on your way though it really does look good.I'm currently working on Interlocking Alien Wire. I'm a better coil builder than a photographer. You're critique is welcome and appreciated. My first attempt.

What a beautiful looking build. Did you do this like I stapled helix or did you use the drill to fuse between the twisted frames. It just came out really nicely wow! I love the color you got on the ribbon wire too!

Used a drill on this mate was testing out the revolver swivel ....it worked really well without twisting the frames took it slow on the drill though ...ordinarily it’s easier to fuse this type of coil by hand (I find anyway)
I find paraclaptoning a tremendous pain in the ass. If you can get over that part I think its just a normal step up from a regular alien. Maybe a little bit tougher to keep in the groove. Like I said I was only successful once and it took me like 20 attempts. I just wanted to do it for the sake of saying I did it haha.
I imagine you could have done it by hand if you wanted to but it came out terrific. I bet if vapes terrific too.

It’s pretty rowdy haha ...that Dejavu is an airy bastard not really my thing in truth I prefer a tighter draw. it was an impulse buy and I didn’t spot it ...flavour is ok considering it’s a trick RDA (not that I can do any tricks) it’ll fog up a room really damn quick almost as much as the 30mm deathtrap does
You don't have to paraclapton, you can just make two decores, or even one long one and cut it in the middle :0
I wish I was as good as giving feedback and encouragement like you do!
I used some very small paperclips, I alternate the orientation of each clip
Really would like to pick up some mini pegs like that vid, or at least rubber coated mini paperclips
I just try to give honest, sincere, encouragement cause that's what I got from @mach1ne and @CrazyChef v2.0. They have both been huge inspirations for me, which started on another forum. When I moved over to this one they were the only guys I knew but everyone was cool and accepted me as the new guy and I have nothing but appreciation and gratitude. I'm just passing on what was given to me, if you weren't a great builder, I wouldn't say you were but you are so I love your work and I enjoy all your posts so keep posting!

figured I'd give helixing by hand a try..
28/30KA1 twisted frames / 4*.4 KA1 center / 36g N80 helix. Going on the Mrs' Apocalypse.
I believe I prefer using the drill/swivels for the helix, but then again, I was rushing and didn't do much prep.

My second alien and I think first success . I am sooo happy to get my first alien I don’t even wanna mount it lol but I will in the morning for sure. China bones bearings and raymo clamps made all the difference for me. Also found a method for sliders that I like.

I would definitely consider that a success! That's a very nice alien coil. I can see you managed to get enough wire to make quite a few wraps. It looks consistent and the waves look great. The @raymo2u KTX RDA is sitting in my P. O. Box right now, so I figured I'd make something fun for it. Decided to try one of those one sided SSFCs (is that what they're called?) for it. I'll post a couple installed pics later on after I get the RDA.
These are 8 ply 0.3K ribbon, 30g N80 frames, 38N80 single stagger, and 40N80 binding. The Wire Wizard says they should come out somewhere around 0.11Ω for the dual coil install.

I added one more wrap so it would fit perfectly in the KTX.
figured I'd give it a go. didn't work out so well.. last wrap broke half way through in 3 places somehow, after that, it all twisted up :/

Thanks @KingPin! The frailen is more or less my favorite coil to vape and I make my fair share of mistakes when making them as well. I find the best method for me is to get the decore in a groove and then let the drill rip and keep tension on the wire with your other hand to keep it in the groove as long as possible. If you don't go quickly chances are you'll have an inconsistent binding, at least that's what happens for me.
Ohhhh I didn't realize that mod came in black. It looks absolutely sick! I have the aluminum one thanks to Purecoils!I'm diggin' it!

I just ordered some in black. They should be here in about a week. How do you like the aluminum? I have the Flave RDA on mine, and it hits pretty darn good.Ohhhh I didn't realize that mod came in black. It looks absolutely sick! I have the aluminum one thanks to Purecoils!
