It's the Chronicle Hybrid Tube by RNV. Great mech tube for a great price. You can get it for the best price at PureCoils.com. Awesome looking design and it hits hard. Like I said I have the aluminum version right now and I want to get the black one when it comes into stock.
Ok fellas. This is my 4th alien, and my very first fralien. I saw the tip about making the decore in the opposite rotation from final wrap. I can’t believe how well it came out! Gonna mount it tomorrow.
2*28g, 8*.3x.1, 36g (24g decore), all Nichrome 80

And made it with the kbee ribbon I got today seemed spoiled okay, think I saw a kink, and not as shiny as temco ribbon

managed a very clean set of alien staggs tonight. first time i ever felt like i was in control of this build. i think i failed this 5 times, finished 3 with bad spacing and now 2 clean ones. its fuckin late so im gonna try to install them tomorrow. heres a coil shot for now...

They look amazing, they are so tight there is literally almost no space between the first pass and the fusing. Amazing!

I've been going in like 100 rpm spurts, if only I could hold my breath for 15 minutes straight, it would be perfect

After fucking with a burnt out swivel for ages my first go at a new swivel was astonishing. theres a few messed up parts where i overlapped the wraps because i was too busy drooling at the beauty that I thought escaped me

I think the overlaps are going to wind up in the legs you cut off or have in the hold downs. Look almost machine made in my opinion. You know that and $2 will get you on a bus I think?

edit- also the overlaps i put the drill in reverse and just wrapped with the fucked up decore, however i was able to manage 2 perfect coils around the fucked up part so it doesnt matter

Tried to make a couple more with 7 ply to make duals but my ribbons collapsed and then I overstretched my decore

Swapped my Aliens for a smaller ID. 2.5 mm instead od 3mm. Instant boost in flavor. 3mm ramp up time was too slow. ID does affect flavor since it affects ramp up.
Ever had a Mexican flan? This tastes exactly like one. yum yum yum!! Just make sure you like cleaning your coils and changing your wick often. It gunks up your coils like crazy! But so worth it!!

Sorry I haven't been here in a while, Internet has been a fleeting enjoyment as of late. Haven't been overly active at the drill either. Mostly working on a nice MTL build for the berserker. This is another 4 core alien, 28g cores and 36g wrap.
Absolutely smashing the builds that have been flying out here guys, spurs me on to get back at the drill properly. Keep smashing those builds out, hopefully I'll be back with more content soon and better stuff.
