Hey, it looks like you use that guitar pick as a tool, what's it do?
Maybe stagger wrap wire. Saw a homemade job on YouTube but was a plastic disc I believe

Yup that’s the video. I used a hot screwdriver and poked a hole made a slot and cut some wire grabbers. Works great!
I don't remember who suggested using 22g decore, and I don't have time to scroll up, but I hate you and I love you lol once it was suggested, I had to try it.. and try it.. and try it.. eventually after lots of screw ups, I figured it out... sorta lol heres the best so far..

dude, your skill with the finer gauge wires astounds me. 40 is as low as I have gone and I use it very rarely. doubt I'll ever go lower.

Remember, dont stretch the decore much at all...like literally less than 70% you normally would and fund then pinch tension needed to wrap it and it should go on without any real problems.
Your wire looks great though!!

I realized after it was you who told me lol Yeah I think I might've stretched it a bit too much, I had to use a little, but not much tension on the wrap (truth be told, I was able to slide the wrap down the entire stick to fix some gaps lol then had to hot glue each end for fear of it coming off during coiling lol) but it came out good enough for me to vape for a couple days until I get time (and more 28g N80, I'm running low) to try again. I had one in my rda that had a bad spot on it and it was driving me nutty lol Thanks again for the tip, once again, the reason I love this place and you guysYour Welcome

5x28g,36g, 22g decore all n80 .15 ohms

You're the 46g queen! I've gotten control over 40g myself. I have some 44g lying around I might try that to see if it makes any difference. What you do with 46g is really impressive. I think you do great work Meg!

I know lots of people just use the same wire for decore that they put in the alien, but I hardly ever make 3 round core aliens and now, even if I do, I use a lower gauge decore

I got to build today, 8x30 cores 40 wrap swoosh 0.22 single
I think next time I'll try 12x30 and one less wrap
Also got a drop of flaming hot glue on my finger @william.osendott

I bet that's a hot vape meg? and ouch, I feel your pain on the hot glue. I don't take pleasure in others pain, (only my own sometimes lol) so hopefully it's not too bad, but I must confess, I laughed a little haha. i somehow made it through the week without my blisters busting, so I tried to drain them this morn, it worked, but they're still blister like - I think there's glue inside hahaha
edit: that's quite a swoosh on that coil now that I look closer.. very nice yet again m'am. I think I'm gonna try an alien Stagg later. I haven't failed at anything in little while lol

That's a good outlook as a coil builder - if you quit failing, time to try something retardedly hard
Edit: Not hot at all in the Drop at 75 watts with two top holes closed
I think a 21 decore or 9 cores would have been about right for the wraps to not slide so willy nilly (I used 8 cores and 20 decore)

oh I meant hadnt failed in general, like at life, in a little while - at least an hour or 2 lol but yeah, it's a good outlook for building I suppose now that I think about it

It's a biohaz. Not sure who it's made by though. I got it from the hardware thread. I like it. It's alumide which is cool. I saw someone else use this storage method and it seems to work best for me. I just run enough to pump out 12 to 15 since most of my stuff is single coil. These fc though are for some of my tube mods. Batteries can handle it but I don't need that high of wattage.

Here it is again. It's a .18 ohms coil... I vape it on my The 99 with dual iJoy 26650 batteries.
