biohazard, that's what I thought. I bet I saw it in the hardware thread too lol I just gave my last tube away, a vgod elite. now I'm down to a NC, nc2, pulse, and some custom homemade type deal I ordered. I think it's a venom or some such - made my skullkandy designs. it's nice; silver contacts, mm 510, etc. I bought it for the logo lol its number 003, so apparently they've sold at least 2 others lol
I'm a single coil guy too.. i haven't used anything but those squonks with my gr1 or solo rda in forever. I'd sell my dual coil rdas if I wasnt so attached.. I also have a govad rda that's awesome, forgot about it - i need to build it up tomorrow.

i have been extra busy the last two weeks and been pretty much absent from here aside from skimming through the new posts and liking the pics. got some time off in the next couple days so im really hoping to get some builds up.i usually climb the mountain where the oracles live and make them an offering to see if they will help me interpret the communications we receive from the build gods. this plague of 5 core aliens they have visited upon us is confusing, but im sure they have their reasons. visiting the oracles is often unpleasant and even disturbing, but i feel its the safer option, as the scrolls are protected by fierce guardians and the path is fraught with danger....

I mean to do that with 3 cores and then frame that with 2 more and do it again, creating an alien stagg, but I find myself without 28g N80, alls I have in 28g is KA1 *blah* looks great shred.

Try using 30g cores instead if you have them....30g Center Alien Decore and 26g Outer Decore., They are great for smaller RDAs and RTAs

Ugh a day of failure. Tried to make a pair of 28g four-core aliens. Screwed up, collapsed cores couple of inches in. Tried to make a fralien, that turned out okay. It’s kanthal ribbon so I think it’ll ohm high enough. Wish the wrap was tighter...
I used the little clothespins for the aliens, I’m not liking them for more than 4-6 inches of stick.. should’ve used ribbon sliders I think. Still my success rate for multi core round wire is pretty low.. uuuugghh I’m a tortured artist lol

It’s 7 loops staggered slentre braidator, my mentor is tomy neque, the OC of braidator. But how to make the pattern, i figured it out my self, he only said practice makes perfect lol. And he only told me once to make the one which looks like ssfc, the rest is up to us to make the pattern. I’m still perfecting my braid technique. Next perhaps i will make wire porn, i make it because he says it’s is better than others (no offense ) and staggered slentre braid with all round wire, flavor and th increase. You should try it, never touch my drill now lol.

interwoven braid variaton is much easier and faster to make, like diamond back etc. slentre braid is pain in the ass at first, you have to able to rest and continue and not mess up with the loop to make it since 7 loops braid with 38g takes 4 hours for 1 coil, 5 loops is faster only 2 hours for 1 coil.
Thanks for the info. When you say staggered, the core wire is stagger wrapped and the braid wrap fills the gaps in the core? I was wondering if the was possible, I wanted to try a staggered ribbon stack for the core.

Very nice looking build. I bet this build is a great vape. At .25 ohms I'd assume you'd be able to take long moderately warm draws and blow some pretty big clouds. Yes!!! Needed a regulated squonker because mechs just don't pull enough power for my kanthal builds at a resistance I'm comfortable at, and I've rarely been satisfied with a single coil but...8x30 is hard to really call a single coil, lmao - makes a thick cloud just like dual 4x30 aliens would, but dual coils that fat wouldnt get enough air and so this one is a Winner

I'm gonna make a pair of 6x30 aliens today I think, for a guy with a VCMT2 30mm, stainless steel though (dna250 mod)

I loved them. I tried tc with ss coils and it definitely is a different vaping experience. I would buy a dna or yihi chip squonk mod in future to get accurate tc. But as of now I’m satisfied with my gbox

I'm about to get myself a regulated squonk too for sorta the same reason.. I'm running 20700 batteries, so I dont so much have to worry about going below safe limits, but rather I think of a build only to realize theres no way its gonna pull enough from the battery to be satisfying. 'tis why I ended up with a 5 core alien which tbh, I could stand a but more power from, but another core would be pretty low.

well, decided to give the staggerton another go since last failing miserably however long ago it was I tried.. the ribbon stack pulled out of the hot glue while I was space captioning it not once, but twice. I managed to get it back together, but theres a bad spot or 2 due to the spaces being uneven however, I'm fairly pleased for my 2nd (maybe 3rd, cant remember exactly) attempt.
8 or 10*.4x.1 KA1 (started with 10, but I know I lost 1, I'm thinking 2 pieces) / 38g N80 framed with 26g and fused with 40g again, N80
