you're speaking cyclically and not making much sense. When provape hits a limit you can't fire the device. When evolv hits a limit, it gives you what it can to stay within limits.

But funny it looks like they only offer it on the satin silver.I think the only Provari worth getting right now is the original 2.5, and now that they are only $79, its kind of a no brainer if you are using an atomizer within its range. Got mine with the P3 cap for $10 extra and using it with a Rocket-R genisis atomizer right now.

Actually, Provape did address the PITA menu, it is now a 3-button device with plus and minus buttons for controlling the power. There's no need to access the menu unless you want to set up favorite settings, button light colors, or the tootiepuff counter.I think the only Provari worth getting right now is the original 2.5, and now that they are only $79, its kind of a no brainer if you are using an atomizer within its range. As for the Radius, not for me, even at $79 because I don't like the P3 menuing system, and the Radius doesn't do anything to address what most people disliked about the P3 which was the excessive clicking and scrolling to access menu items.
Personally, I think the Radius would have done really well if it was released instead of the original P3, then release the tube version later for the old school provari users.
The menu was my biggest gripe about the P3.

So he shows that the device works within the parameters that they claim it will (ironically, both higher and lower voltage/current limits than anything ProGrape has ever done), and tries to say it's inaccurate, and not delivering the power it's supposed to work? Let me put a 0.3Ω coil on a ProVari radius and try to fire it at 40w and see how closely the chart matches the one he is using to hang Evolv with.

Yeah, I just noticed that too, I also got the blue LED version which doesn't seem to be offered anymore on the drop down menu. The Polished one has all the options I had on the satin when I purchased it last week, so I'm guessing these are not made to order anymore, maybe just selling what is left over I guess?
I wish Provape would offer an upgrade. Zen does them but it costs $45. A little pricey for a mod I don't frequent.

Don't take this the wrong way; I say this for your piece if mind; because, I've been there. You have a disease called ECFalitis.
It usually happens after about a year of being on E-Cigarette Forum. What happens is that you get exposed to an exponential amount of douchebaggery and your own inner douchebag begins to swell and irritate you spine and brain stem. Eventually you get to a point where you can rid yourself of the douchebaggery completely and purge yourself of ECFalitis, or completely embrace the swollen douchebag within, the choice is yours.
The only other option is to do a near complete purge of said douchebaggery and only venture doucheland for informational purposes only and say hello to an old friend once in a while-careful because that tightrope can result in flashes of ECFalitis.
-again just tryin to help, as several can attest to: My own douchebag removal process was wrought with pain anguish and a public display of vile anger, embarrassment and violation. So consider this someone just trying to help out.

Dude, why do you have such hatred toward The Chinese. Doesn't the Great Wall prove that the Chinese can build something that lasts? And I'm sorry, I've owned ProVari,,and I've owned Chinese made mods. The SX mini is built every bit as good as a ProVari. Now look at the millions of high end products that folks have purchased over the years that have silently moved to,Chinese manufacturing with no noticible change in quality.
Sorry man, if you want to talk empirical facts, I'll gladly sit down and talk with you all night, but if all you want to do is come in here and spew your bigoted agenda like it is fact, then in my mind you obviously have nothing intelligent to say.

Any ways, back to the Provari Radius. I just pre- ordered the blue one. I've been vaping for about 6 years and have collected lots of devices. Some I have kept and others were a complete waste of money and are in a land fill somewhere. The Radius will completely suit my needs as I prefer to Vape single coil tanks between .5 to 1 ohm. Right now I'm using the Segelei 100 at 21.5 watts. This has been an excellent device for work but a little big and bulky for out and about use. I'm looking forward to receiving the Radius. I passed up the P3 because of the form factor, only 20 watts and you have to send it off to be up graded. Also the menu and single button adjustment seemed a little tedious. The Radius addresses these issues. At 200 dollars I feel its worth it. The land fill has more of my money than the cost of the Radius.

First off, you know nothing about me. You know nothing of my educational level, or experiences. How can you say I know nothing about how manufacturing works? I have patents in my name for electrical products, and there are multiple assembly lines running in at least 4 different countries using processes that I was part of developing...but I know nothing about manufacturing.
And what did you mean by saying that I am of "limited means" we're you calling me stupid, or were you saying I'm inferior to yOu based on financial status? Do you know my income? Is it any of your business? Do you even know what mods I use, or what they cost, or,where they came from?
Sorry, but you just crossed a line here. A difference of opinion on a product is one thing, but when the attacks become personal, attacking ones education, experience, intelligence and socio-economic status, you show me that you have nothing to add of value to the conversation.
