He was.
Think he had given up on us.
When we picked him up there was whining, tears and uncontrolled piddling......and Herk was excited too.
He spent 5 days with 11 other dogs. All of the pics we got of him during the trip were heart wrenching. He had a look as if to say "why am I here with all these damn dogs". (He kinda thinks he's a people)
But Katy (the pooch princess) said he was very good and was welcome back any time. (Not all are welcome to come back. She's in demand because of her farm-like property and problem/aggressives stay in seclusion and can't come back). Herk apparently buddied up with Katy's BF. He even gets to sleep in the bed with them so he was in good hands. But he was very happy to be home. He hit the couch and slept all day and night.
He's full of it today.

Poor lil guy! When I had to kennel a pet, I had two. They spent the time together and did seem to enjoy the other pups. Of course, it was a frantic scene when I went to pick them up. At least they were happy to see me, didn't gnaw my leg off and seemed very happy with the folks that ran the place.

I firmly believe that vacationing should be my full time vocation.
Work sucks....pintrest sucks for making work suck.....ship lap sucks.....and pintrest sucks even more for making suburban women think they need ship lap.....and for not explaining to them that ship lap is a method...not a product.

Vacations are expensive, unless someone else is paying for them.

You should invent some pre-made ship lap panels. Then you could take all of us on vacation . .. . .

I'd invent them, but then they'd want them professionally cut. Vicious cycle.
But vacationing would be nice........if I'm paying and taking all of us it will have to be an affordable trip to the Nebraska beach. Well, not really a beach cuz we have no ocean. It's more of a lake instead of an ocean. Kind of a small lake.
More of a pond than a lake really.....but a top notch pond.....kinda. Actually it's a small pond, and not really top, TOP notch, but still pretty good. In reality it's somewhere between a pond and a puddle, but leaning more towards a pond...depending on who you ask. Crystal clear water like substance....kinda....kinda murky/sludgey in spots.....mainly the surface area....and most of the bodies have been fished out of it....mostly. But great party spot to lounge around.....in hip waders at minimum....full hazmat suit would probably be best. No open flames within 50 yards. But it's really a great place close to home. Well, not great....good...kinda and not real close to home but closer than the DR......I really don't want to go there....it's scary as hell and the skeeters have a 3' wingspan and talons.

I think we've been forgiven, but we can't leave the room without him hot on our heels.
Mama bears felt so guilty that she bought him a puppy bed yesterday....his first. I didn't think he would give a sh#% about it but he seems to enjoy it.

Herk is a boof head.

Long day for me. And then I took a long walk with the pupper. I don't think I've mentioned that we now live about a mile away from a livestock dealer, so every time I go for a walk that way I get to visit a whole bunch of cows and sheep and llamas and yes, goats. Today was cool, the big billies were ramming each other and frolicking. Will have to remember to take pics next time.
