Hmm, maybe it's just a big thing around here. They have a big parade with bagpipes and floats (mostly just drunk people in the back of a pickup truck).

It's always March 17th, but our downtown festivities are on the Saturday before, every year.
I know there's an Irish town northeast where its a big deal. The people that celebrate here just go to the bar, cept the ones that go to the bar and celebrate would be at the bar any other day anyway lol.

So 33 miles to go? I forget the date it finishes.

Do you feel better? Shed any weight?

April 15th, so I'm right back on pace.

I usually hurt and I haven't weighed myself, but I still have my lil belly. I'm 6'2" and around 195lbs, so weight loss wasn't too big an issue. Just overall health.

Morning all!

St. Patrick's Day is remembered every year in our household. St. Patrick was the saint that was Mike's mom's favorite. She once told me that he was known as a saint in the Christian religion that associated the 3 leaf clover to the Holy Trinity. She passed 17 years ago on St. Patrick's Day......We found it very comforting that she died on her favorite saint's day and because green was her favorite color. I honestly don't know much more about the holiday. Just that it holds her memory even closer to us on this day every year.

And that is your history lesson for today............lol

Off to get ready to go see Mike's dad!

I can't get motivated today...I have a lot to do but I am dragging it along, can't stay focused on any one thing.
St. Patty's Day is a big deal around here, too, but I guess just not for me. Bunch of rowdy bobos getting drunk and puking up green beer in the street? I'll pass.
I'm glad Always got some rest, 22 got some miles in, and Steph sounds a bit cheerier today. Doggie, go eat. Everyone else, I hope you're enjoying Sunday. XO

Me too.
I think I'm done trying to be productive for the day. I've been gradually slowing down as the day goes on, and I'm over it.
My house is clean, my workspace is almost completely organized, the laundry is done, and there are leftovers in the fridge for dinner. That's enough for a Sunday, isn't it?

How was the offseason? Were they able to retain most of their players? Any good additions?

We traded in Matt Suckling. He is an ex hawthorn defender and has experience in 2 premierships. He also moved up the ground v the magpies and kicked a goal from about 60 meters out.

We traded away our early draft picks, we are youth heavy so traded draft picks for veterans to bolster that aspect.
