Two down one to go, dogs groomed that is, two loads of laundry done too, now I'm heading to the shower and then off to eat corned beef and cabbage that his cousin is cooking. :) Oh and he just finished mowing for the first time this year and is now cleaning the mower deck.

Thinking Dominican sushi. Binge style.
Think I've read that Dominican sushi rivals Japan's.
Or maybe I read Japanese cigars rival DR cigars.

Who am I kidding? I don't read. I just want unlimited sushi.
You won't have to worry about me depleting the sushi supply.
I've had it. It was good. Didn't think to myself, gotta get me some more of dat!

Speaking of trouble makers, desperately trying to find help for my son. He has needed it for a long time but they won't help you til the kids turn 5. I'm hoping to get something in before school starts but we have a 6 month waiting list at the psychiatrist and behavioral center. I'm praying and doing rain dances and everything that if we can't get help we can at least get the teacher I'm hoping for, because the wrong teacher for my son's first year of school may make or break the rest of his education. It sounds ridiculous to be so serious about it but we are walking on very thin ice with teaching him anything, if the wrong teacher labels him the wrong way, he will shut down and hate everything about school.

It's such a mess and makes me so sad and angry that nothing I do seems to help and no one seems to be able to help us or even care.
It does not sound ridiculous!!! I applaud you and pray that you get this worked out.

My sister had to go all the way to the school board or whatever it was called, just to get an education for my nephew. He is severely dyslexic and they just put him in a corner and pretty much ignored him.

They did that to my sister but she didn't tell us. She was given the Sunday comics and play dough and told to be quiet. Mom and Dad finally caught on that something was very wrong and took her to Learning Foundations. They were GREAT! Then I gave her The Once and Future King.....she worked her butt off to read that because she loved all things King Arthur. The rest is history. She was overjoyed to find the world of books and all the wondrous places she can visit between the pages. My nephew learned to read by reading instructions on video games. I think his first "big" book was The Stand. He read it cover to cover and loved it.

Do whatever you have to do to get that youngun some good learnin'.
