I hear the virtues of beans in chilli are quite a contentious issue there.

I have a pack in the pantry to make cornbread. I've never tried it.

So I've heard it's the only way I've ever had it, but I'm not too picky. Add some shredded cheese and it's a darn good meal no matter how it's made.

Never had cornbread?! I hope you've got jiffy. It goes with everything, especially soups or chilies. At least in my redneck family

My crock pot is the worst. It's huge and takes up the whole sink, I leave it soak for a while out of pure procrastinating
My crock pot rarely gets the heavy caramelized gunk that oven pans get. I've finally grown to mostly do dishes as I go now. Oven pans get scrubbed while meat is resting.

Thinking of nominating myself for the australia day "everyday hero" award for the table effort. I even wiped it with pine o clean

Definitely the hero we need. Now you have me looking bad. Haven't done a bit of anything today except halfway tidy the kitchen for insurance guy. I had to lay a napkin over dried jam on the table so he could lay his papers out

What made you clip your Mum's ear?

Supposed to have some ss wire and vcc cotton coming today - thinking I may try rayon too . . . .
She has a cochlear ear implant. But on the back of her head she has a little port to plug the battery and volume control into her head. She lost it. Thought it was gone on a train. But has been found.

So no insurance claim, and less voice raising

That's good - for a while I thought you had her ears done like they do for pup's to make them stand up/out.

And, grilled dinner last night. We now have enough chicken, burgers and peppers to last the rest of the week. It buggered me . . . . ..

Still trying to work out triple double

A double three times

But what's a double? 2 bases? 2 people on bases getting to home?

Sent from my GT-I9506 using Tapatalk

Hey Doggie, a triple double is in basketball, when a player is in double figures in three categories: points, assists and rebounds. A baseball double is batter reaching 2nd base on a hit.

...Now I'd love to hear an explanation for what getting to 2nd base means! :D
