Hawk will be impressed by shaving.

Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk

I shaved yesterday........but didn't feel the need to fish for accolades.
But I only shaved my face. Not sure that I want to know what 1Pak shaved. Maybe he does deserve some back patting........if he shaved his back.......or manscaped.....with a Christmas theme......ho ho ho.
And I shaved with a straight razor....kinda.

Morning knuckles, having a hard time keeping up lately. Hopefully can come back more when Christmas mess is over.

Am healing up fairly well, seems to be going much slower than the surgeon said it would, am a little afraid of going back to work tomorrow but have no choice if I want to keep my job.

Hope y'all are well smooches

It's winter time. Need to maintain my base layer. So, no manscaping.

I don't feel so special now.

The national weather map had the word "frigid" right on top of your house. Lil chilly out your way?

-23 yesterday (wind chill)
-12 this am. With no wind, but looking at a whopping 13 for a high today.
34 tomorrow then 40's for a few days so it will be bearable.
Herk and the werewolf chihuahua aren't digging the cold. Potty trips outside are pitiful. 15 second squirts over and over and over. Guess I don't blame them.......I pee in a heated room.
I should get a trophy for that.

I'll clean yours if you will clean three of mine. Three adult drivers = full parking area. Thank goodness we have lots of driveway room at this house.
That reminds me of kids trying to trick each other on the bus.
"Hey kid, I'll trade you ten nickels for ten dimes. Look how much bigger the nickel is!"
"Wow Scooter, that is alot bigger! Make it twenty!"

Wow, I actually feel lucky to have a "feels like" Temp of 2 degrees F, even luckier to have a real temp of a whopping 13 degrees F!

My furnace is not working so I pee in a very cold room. It was supposed to get to -14 last night and the furnace went out right before bed. Of course, pipes froze as well. Stan has been fixing burst pipes all day but we now have water and the drain on the tub is defrosted. However, taking a shower in this cold is the last thing I am willing to do. I love old houses with character but this too much character even for me. LOL

Thank you GrannyBear. It will be fine. Our little kerosene heater helps with where we sit in the living room and the bedroom. I like it cool but today has been almost brutal. I didn't want to go outside because I was so cold but, in truth, in Colorado the sun is pretty warming even when the temps are below freezing. I just couldn't seem to get my brain to accept the possibility. This too will pass. If we need a new furnace, I think we need to scrape together enough to get central air as well. Credit card is paid off so that might be our saving grace in this.

Time for bed. I'm off to Dallas first thing in the morning and I can't be late again. At least Stan will be here to take care of any last minute emergencies this week.

Keep having dreams/nightmares about mom being in the hospital. I'm definitely glad Sati is always there to calm me down :dog:

Tell me about it! The house were living in has at least 60 years of 'character' (free of charge)

I can't take a shower without pre-heating the freezer... err umm I mean bathroom.

Im just glad I don't have to trudge through the snow to work at the greenhouse anymore. I kinda miss it but it was too much stress.

RIP Girls :skunk:

Well...I'm not the brightest dragon in the kingdom...I don't do shoes and socks very often. I stayed barefoot most of the time until I had to help DH with the repairs. Then I put on my tennis shoes...no socks of course! I have become the Queen Of Throws though. I like throw blankets now! Tech is due out today between 1 and 3. We shall see what we shall see...

Good morning. Glow sorry to hear about your heater and pipe problems. Hawk it sounds as if the dogs are freezing up, you may need to insulate their pipes. I'm hoping all goes well at work Always. Sorry if I am missing anyone.

I've been having so much fun that I've missed a lot here. :)
Ended up in ER yesterday, bloodwork ruled out all the biggies, I'm not dying anytime soon but still have to wait for Jan DR appt.
Probably IBS and/or GERD, in any case I'm sure my anxiety level will decrease and that will help. This has been a most effective weight loss regimen though I wouldn't recommend it.

oh, i forgot to post

my paternal grandma had the gallbladder op when my old man was a teenager

it was a week in recovery back in the 50s

dad went in to visit, and the inexperienced nurse apparently sat her up too quick. Something about an air bubble reaching the brain

so i never met her, and was never allowed to ask or know how she died until after dad passed away. He always blamed himself

that was my gallbladder story

I hope so, but if nothing else its a break from my other reoccurring nightmare. So at least there's a bright side if they keep up :)

Back in my 'partying' days (wasn't much of a party) I went years without being sure if I ever dreamt. I guess I was probably too sedated for even a dream

Oh yikes! I'm sorry to hear that :( as for me I got a cold pretty much right away and have been coughing like crazy ever since, which doesn't feel good on the stomach. Also found I'm allergic to the steri strips they used to cover the incisions, and regular band aid glue :( so have had some big red itchy spots to go with all the other random discomforts. Ah well I'll get over it eventually, just seem to be healing slower than everyone said.

Smooches y'all!

Friggin winter... :tantrum:

Good morning Knuckledom.
Love and healing juju to Always and Claudia, and I hope everyone else is well and keeping warm.

'Cept for Kieth, who I'm sure is out decorating palm trees for Xmas.
And Taki and Mer are probably pretty comfortable too.

OK, All you warm weather people can go suck it.
I'm cold.
