I had a creepy thing happen this morning.

4am and I feel something kinda tickle my arm. So, I wipe at it and it feels like a spider web. I sit up and start realizing there's more of it on my shoulder, face, head.
Damn spider decided to make a web on me while I slept. Never found a spider. He's probably living in my ear. Needless to say, I couldn't go back to sleep. I tried but nope.

Saw this on Facebook yesterday. That snake is likely fed until Easter now.

This lil guy really likes his paper towel. Much more pleasant that snakes and spiders.

@2pak2zero , I think I would be fumigating the house! I don't mind spiders when I am awake and I can deal with them. It is against the rules to take advantage of me when I am sleeping!

You should have seen Karen's required inspection before we got in bed tonight. Nothing was left unturned.

I am happy for both of you! At least they are trying to pay back the debt. Enjoy your peace of mind and hopefully there will be many more bright spots for you.
Still trying to get used to the whole peace of mind thing. Not sure if I remember how to relax. I'm sure I can figure it out lol ought to be interesting. For some reason I feel like a blow torch is part of the process. We shall see

It's a lot easier to relax when your teeth aren't chattering. Yay for heat and food!
Just don't go all crazy buying high end vape gear.

Hey dogman, just saw pics of the ink job you did on the tmod micro; nice work! What did you use for a clear coat?

thanks, but no tmod micro here, and not my work

was a custom classic II [dual battery] inked by a friend in adelaide

i guess you know better than anyone how these don't translate to photos

for clear coat, she sealed with some acrylic sealer, then used the two part epoxy spray

I'm getting geared up to do a big piece of wall art with alcohol ink. Haven't used it in almost a year, so I'm excited to do something creative again :)

What surface are you using?

Morning knuckles.

I'm hot. And not hot like "rawr" but hot like "puff, pant, sweat"

Good morning Knuckles.
Nice to see Dready popping in!
And nice to see worldwide gifting happening. Nice mod, 22. That's awesome!

I've been sick with a stomach bug for a few days. Pretty sure I almost died. Getting better though, so it seems I'll survive.

Hang in there embee! It has gone through our family twice now. I don't know if it is connected to the crud that came on it's heels though. I think I have the flu. Don't get sick very often but when I do, I do it up right! Haven't been outside this week. Bed, living room, bed some more. Wish I had good advice to help you get over this.

Well, starting with a wood panel, but I'm going to put some texture and seal it before inking. Guess you'd call it mixed media. May use some acrylic too.

Hi Embee! Nice to see you all :) I finally just "retired" my Reos from everyday use, they were just worn out and not working well. It's strange how hard it is to get used to something new after 3 years, but I'm liking it. Got a Segeili 213 with a Griffin 25 on top. Tanks sure have come a long way! And tomorrow I have a LV Therion 75W squonker arriving with a bf atomizer.
Maybe some day I'll have time to make a mod or two, but for now these new ones got me excited :)

Good to know. Thanks Glow.
I ventured out to do 2 brief errands today and now I'm back on the couch under a blanket, feeling rather wiped out.
I haven't been sick in a long time though, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

Do you have the all over body aches and pains? That was the worst part.
I still can't eat much, but I'm being really careful. If you've got what i have, chin up, the really terrible part only lasted about 24 hours.
Hubby had it too and he's fine today. I'm just a delicate flower.

Interested to hear how you like the therion.
I think if someone came up with a seemingly indestructible regulated squonker that was as little as my minis I might go for something new. I thought about a Pico Squeeze, just because it's little, but never really got that jazzed about trying one. I have a regular pico, and it's fine, but I'm still happy with my REO minis.
For what it's worth, and I'm sure you've heard this before, but taking your REO apart and giving everything a really good cleaning can bring it back to life. It worked for me.
Funny how using 3 or 4 year old gear is kinda like using a relic in this industry.
I prefer to think of it as kickin' it old skool.
And I'm going to go listen to Erik B and Rakim now.

As far as the Reos go, I have cleaned them, but I can't seem to stop juice from leaking on the inside from the 510. And even after cleaning the contacts and using noalox, they still fire up slow and just don't hit that hard.

Have you tried tightening the little metal tube that the juice tube connects to? Under the black delrin piece? I had that leak a few days ago and it's all better now.

Hopefully that will help... though I did try that once before, I may have not tightened enough for fear of stripping it. But that black plastic piece that covers that area keeps sagging down and just won't stay put. If the Therion works as I hope I'll be happy to let the Reos winter in Boca Raton before I work on them again ;)

You could also send it to Rob for the spa treatment and have the adjustable 510 installed. Not sure how much difference it will make - my p67 seems to hit harder than the lp grand I have.
Pico squeeze is pretty good for the price, but the bottle, like the kanger, isn't that durable.

I know the feeling. I can't believe how much time I have spent in bed. Usually, laying about just makes my back and hips hurt so I don't do it that much. This crud included muscle aches that were so bad, I couldn't stay awake without starting to pile on pain relievers and risking my sobriety so I went to sleep! It's still my best way to get through discomfort. Now I have passed it on to Stan. Pewp. His lungs are not healthy and he will probably be really sick with it.

If you haven't been symptomatic for more than a day or two, go to the doc! I wish I had taken my own advice and gotten the Tamiflu anti-viral. I think it would have shortened this crud and I wouldn't have lost an entire week of work (no work, no pay).

Pico squeeze is smaller than the original?!? I've been preferring 2x 18650 boxes for the battery life so ill probably not dig one of those.

Evening boof heads. Made a pork roast with potatoes and carrots tonight, came out awesome. I guess I did a good job since the chef in the family kept saying WOW it was a good meal for a cold day. Expecting plenty of snow here and the roads were awful when I went to pick up little miss from school.

Hope everyone starts feeling better soon, have been fighting the crud myself for almost a month myself. Tony finally caught it, so it will be much worse being the man cold and all.

Smooches y'all

Sure is! I've spent far too many years being cheap to go down that road lol

LAKE EFFECT SNOW CAN GO *verb* ITSELF IN THE *noun*!...That's about all I have to say about that
