Last day of summer break. Wife headed back to teaching kindergarten tomorrow.
Herk and I are in anxious anticipation of “just the guys” time. We’re both trying to play it cool and act all sad, but there has been a fair amount of piddling on the carpet because of the excitement. I just hope Herky doesn’t start piddling too.

Yay, Herky still going. A dog older than knuckledom is very much in his twilight years
Herk will be 13 in a few months. He still likes to play and run the fence line when people have the nerve to walk their dogs by. He’s in pretty good shape but as some problems in his joints.
