Hi, all. I'm brand new to Reo's, as of today! I was PIF'ed an original mini, have wanted a Reo since I learned what they are. I am trying to learn more about them but I'm having a hard time. Do I need to send it in for an update? What rda do I need? I tried looking on ECF, but there are a ton of Reo threads, and a language I haven't learned. So confusing! I looked at Reo website, couldn't find anything on the original mini. Any help appreciated!
You should probably go to the main Reo forum on ECF. That's where Rob hangs out, and there's a ton of useful information:

You need an RM2 to put on top of it. Go read the forum, and feel free to PM me if you need any help!

The link doesn't show the product, but if it's the one I think it is the reviews are terrible!
Are you talking bout the kui bottom feeder by scans? If so I was one of the ones who got one and they have a lot of issues(could be fixed easy but still lots of issues)

Not me, though they are beautiful. I'm saving up for the resins and 14500's. Wish there was more info on them. You going to indulge?

You guys, too! Question for you - where do you get deoxite gold? I've checked Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Walmart, auto supply place.

Good morning to you, too! Yes, this thread kind of comes and goes, wish more were here more often. I have another question for you, please. do you know of a tutorial or info on how to convert RDA's to bottom fed? I have way more time than money, and would love to be able to do this myself. I have searched and googled and youtubed. I have a mounted vise and a dremel, just no drill press. Thanks!

@ misswish different RDAs are easier to convert in different ways. What atty are you trying to BF? I just did a Mini Haze with only a dremel and it was one of the simplest ones I have done.

Any of them! I just started using a mini Reo. I've looked at Rob's and at Chowderhead's, both are quality. I just use single coil right now. I see so many rda's, so cheap, and would love to change them myself. I know the derringer is highly thought of, as is the mini Haze, the cyclone, etc. Any help would be soooo appreciated!

I did see a post that the center post had been removed, and channels dremeled in 2 sides. Just don't know which rda's center post can be easily removed, and the post didn't have much detail.
And no idea how or where to put the drain hole. Thanks again!
