So that battery would be safe to .08 ohm and 218 watts, well that should roast your lungs. Still only 3500 mah, but WOW that is some power.

They could be Jeffrey I don't know?
I had just read on some sites they are not making them anymore. Look at some other sites besides ecig sites and they apear to not be making them. They could be just repackaging them for the ecig market because they where originally designed for the tool market. It is common for these guys to repackage these things and even put smaller batteries inside!

Maybe they started again I have no idea.

They where designed back a long time ago and lost favorability because of the size.

The best place to look which I have not yet, is the flashlight forums!

EDIT;

I don't sub ohm so these really are not for me.

@Jeffrey Goff - Are you using Hammond boxes for your mod builds? Nice job!

Thanks man, yea this thing can last awhile the 30mls of juice can last me for days. Right now I have been vaping on the same 26500 battery for over 12hours and it's still vaping strong, depending on the build this thing can last awhile. The 26650 with a .5ohm build I've used over 24 hours. I have OCD when it's comes to charging batteries these things could go longer I'm sure. I'm doing plastic right now to keep the price down. I wanted to get into squonking but could find a mod with a big battery and bottles, and low price so I made one. Eventually I wanna use metal boxes and have the styling kinda influenced by the billet box.

I like that billet box type of box design myself! The billet box itself is too limiting, but I like the carbon fiber on the aluminum. Perhaps a carbon fiber door on the REO to start with...lol

Nice job! I like it!
I did a nemesis posted under forced patina thread. You should post that there as well!

My camera doesn't take good pictures. I am use to large format photography. Anyone recommend a reasonable priced digital?

BTW; For 510 spring loaded connector

From fatdaddy's:
I will have needles and orings to insert inside the holed 510 posts in 10 days. 1.8mm diameter X 1.3mm hole. 40mm long.

I will also have silicone tubings - food grade - 2.5mm dia with a 1mm hole to go with it...

What I did was tap the end of the new pin to 2.5 x .45 mm. I took an old 510 to 510 sealed adapter and unscrewed. Drilled thru and filed off the head and taperd like Robs insert into tubing. This sandwiches the firing spring between the fatdaddys bottom feeder pin, and room for tygon. You could also cut the the Reo's old center in so it will thread into the hole and sandwich spring between shoulder like I did above.

I will have pictures before and after assembled. Still looking for an easy way to remove the old 510.

Only thing left is to remove the old 510 connector and install the fatdaddy's.

Hey all. New Reo Mod owner, Reo Grand. Should I have ordered the low profile? My Remoizer 3.0 duel coil RDA doesn't seem to seat. Is there another bottom fed RDA out there that will fit it? Also, other than the Vicious Ant Cyclone are there other bottom feeders out there I don't know about?

I hope to be a devoted fan, but need to work out some kinks as a noob. The voltage drop on this is pleasingly absent.

Thanks.

Hmmmmm RM3 should fit either Grand (LP or regular) if I recall correctly. Have you built a coil and test fired it yet?

RM3 is for low profile mods. Others may chime in on options for a standard REO.

Hmmmmmm x 2, just checked in Reoville and it appears the RM3 is a 14mm atty which should fit inside the catch cup on a non-LP Grand.

I'm fairly sure it's supposed to fit both - but I just emailed Rob to be sure!

Hey there,

Im seriously thinking of buying Reo mod. (Anyone got one for sale? ;) )

but, I have a question or two :)
I was considering Reo Mini 2.1, because of the size. goes nicely to my pocket when im out or working.
what you recommend, LP or normal, Grand or Mini? Im thinking of getting cyclone bf on it or one of those attys from reosmods.

Anyone happens to know what are the shipping costs to Europe, Finland to be exact. Seems that there are no other vendors than reosmods.com.
I know this is a stupid question but, I will ask anyways :D Is there other/better bottom feeder mods available?
maybe with dna chip? I had one, which I made myself. it had evolv dna20 chip on it, but I sold it away. and I wanted a smaller one..which im seeking right now, at this moment :)

thanks.

I don't have any LPs, but it does make more sense to buy an LP to keep more options open - particularly as Rob now has a number of different LP attys on his site. You can't go wrong with the RM2 atty.

The only thing I don't like about the minis (I have a couple) is the small 3ml bottle. You can use some other 6ml bottles made for chinese sauces, but they're not quite as durable as the 3ml bottles that come with them. The size is great though!

There are no other bottom feeders like the Reo - Vapage makes a cheap one (keep away from what I've read), someone makes some pretty rounded wooden ones (forget the name, but he's on ECF). But the Reo is amazing, and Rob's customer service is bar none. I don't know of any with a DNA chip - the Reo is purely mechanical, which is its beauty!

Nobody else, that I am aware of, sells Reos online. You have to buy it directly from Rob at reosmods.com.

Head here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/ and look for Redeyedancer, he is the maker of the Reo and is more than happy to answer any questions you might have (via PM). Actually all the Reonauts are happy to help. I'd go with the LP version mainly because it does not limit you atty choices going forward.

The way I read the RM3 description on reomods.com sounded like it was for LP units. If I've misled, I certainly apologize.

From the website description:
This atomizer will work on reo grands mini 2.1s low profile mods and wood mods built in 2014

I think you're right Amanda! Gotta run and sign up for my reading comprehension class now. Sorry all!

The guy that just started up nicomods.com is doing a run of dual battery mods now, but has stated his next project to be a regulated bottom feeder, using SX350 chip (60 watts max) rather than DNA chip. He has a thread running here on VU that I could look up for ya when I get home to my PC tonight.

I'm probably gonna have to find a REO that I want to order too though. I've actually got a pair of bottom feeding Zeniths that I ordered months ago, just no bf mod to put them on yet.

It's like having koolaid but no sugar. Or having cereal but no milk.

Ya. Built a dual-coil (getting the two end wires through the middle post was a challenge; yes, playing with a bit of danger there fitting two coils in the space) on a Reomizer 3.0 duel coil RDA. I've tried screwing it on the "regular", but it doesn't want to seat all the way. RM3 works fine on an LP, though still doesn't seem to seat as well as the Reomizer 5.0. I work at a shop and we just got them in. I'm enjoying the setup. The hits are a bit too hot at times, but still learning how it works best for me.

How do the 510 threadings look?

Does your RM3 look like this? Can you show us a picture? I'm sure we can get it to work, we just need more info.

My guess would be the 510 threading as well, you guys have access to a die to maybe clean up the threading?

No access to something to clean up the threading, but that was what I was thinking. I've checked the threads a bit more closely and they look, I THINK, a bit muddled at the end, near base, of RM3. I don't want to push it any further. I'm afraid of bending the outer posts on the RM3 to try any harder screwing it down.

Side: Will a Vicious Ant Cyclone fit in the "regular" well? From the little I know they will not fit the older Reo. Whatever that means....Reo 'regular'?

Yes, the cyclone will fit a regular Reo. Probably all but the very old original mini Reo (smaller than the Mini 2.1).

The regular cap will fit any Reo. The AFC cap will "technically" fit the regular Reo but will only go over one o-ring and you will need to adjust your coils to align with the air holes. It will work fine on an LP with no adjustments needed.

Here's a link to the thread, if I can figure out how to post it correctly.

Not to dissuade from getting an actual REO though. I'm still wanting to get a compact mini too for carrying on short trips away from the house.
thanks for the link. Looks like that it might be a little too big box mod for me.
I keep hunting the used reo mini :) maybe I get lucky someday.

Yes, I'm keeping lookout for a used mini too, at the "other place", that looks appealing. The good deals go very fast, but do pop up from time to time.
