Very happy to report that this new firmware update does seem to have fixed the delayed firing time! Merry Christmas!

Delayed firing?
Hmmm...my two fire instantly without the update..but I'm in power mode if that makes a difference, and Merry Christmas back!

Some people have been reporting the same thing and I also run in power mode. I had a noticeable delay right when I would pick up the mod. But with this new firmware update its gone. My other two IPV boxes didn't have this delay but no big deal now that its effectively gone!

Interesting. Mine had no delay in either wattage or fire mode before the update. The update made no difference in fireing speed I can detect on my RX. The screen difference, I wouldn't have notriced if it had not been pointed out.

The new firmware is bigger than the old firmware, so something must have been done besides font.

Ya it was weird, it was the one and only thing that I didn't like about this mod. Apparently not all of them had this issue from what it sounds like.

I zoomed in a bit but it still didn't post, as in this screenshot..didn't post on my Tablet either... Both with Tapatalk... Oh well, I would've really liked to seen what the display looked like :(

From what I can understand, the pic he posted is a File Analyzer that creates a graphical depiction of any noted differences between the bin firmware file of 1.07 and 1.08

This is what my screen looks like stock..Be cool to compare it to a actual display with the update... See if I could tell a difference,

Bwahahaha I'm an idiot. Changed my wattage from 42 to 60 to give a compairison of the display, then absent mindedly had me a nice long vape. Well not so long, or nice. Wattage reset, TC back on. Re-wicking. lololol

After putting fresh batteries in both my ipv3 li and this mod i fired them together (both with billow v2s built the same way)and there is still a slight delay between the two. I feel like it doesnt delay as much as it did before I updated it though. I waited 10 minutes, swapped tanks around and still a minor difference but no big deal

Ok, One difference I've noticed is that in TC mode, if you give the fire button a fast stab, it displays the current temp of the coil. If you draw on it without fireing, then stab the button, you can see the coil temp drop to room temp.

Edit. Just went outside, where its -13C, and the lowest it goes is 70F. must be the default value.

It seems to hit a little harder in SS TC (I had to lower the temp by 20F) and it doesn't seem to have as much of that sort of heartbeat pulse effect to it. I'm using 304 SS, so maybe they changed up the Temperature Coefficient of Resistance value to accommodate a wider variety of grades of SS a little better or something.

I noticed this too, or thought I did. Hard to be objective without having two identical devices. I'm using 304 as well, and also lowered my temp.

No problem here but try to push the pin down, it may be stuck down at the bottom.

Anyone having problems with the 510 pin .Mine doesn't connect with a lot of my attys...

I've had no probs. try taking the batts out, and depressing the center pin a few times. Its spring loaded, and might be binding a little.

By depressing, I mean push it down with a small screwdriver. Don't tell it its the worst conector ever and will never amount to anything.... You might affect it with issues. lol

Velocity clone, Mini velocity Clone, El carbon, Royal Hunter ,mutation x shorty,......I can unscrew the pins and they a make conection but I don't like doint that.

If it is stuck how do I get it to pop back out...

Like what they said, push it the 510 in, if that doesn't work return it...

I ordered two different styles.
One style covered the bottom of the device and the other style left the bottom uncovered but covered the top.
I ordered them from Fastech.

I'd personally only consider one if the batteries stayed in when charging. I had one on my D2, it lasted almost a day...

Dang, sold my Reuleaux DNA200 to a buddy of mine. I never really got into the escribe software and have been loving my RX200 so since he really wanted the DNA200 to tweak it via escribe I figured why not. I got my DNA200 version for 130 and he was all over that price so good deal for both of us.

Now I am thinking another RX200 or maybe wait for the new IPV D5 or something else? I already have a Sig 150TC and Encom TNT80, both of which are in the rotation along with the RX200. I have about 8 sub ohm tanks and a bunch of RBA's I use so the more mods the better. If they would come out with a single 18650 or a single 26650 Reuleaux style mod I would be all over that.

The only reason another RX200 isn't an automatic for me is I gave my friend the 3 batteries I had and don't want to buy another matched 3 if I get a second one. I am actually thinking a single 18650 might be good to go with all the different single 18650's I already have. Maybe a IPV D3 or a eVic VTC Mini, just as long as whatever I get has SS TC which is the only TC I actually like.

Just asking here as I am hoping other RX200 owners can recommend another mod that works as well as the RX200. Keep in mind that battery life or high power is not as important, just as long as it supports SS TC and has around 75 watts would be good.

Did the up grade last night. Since I just bought mine, it was still the original version. I have no idea what 1.07 fixed, but the font on 1.08 is clearer, tighter pixels. Everything seems to be working. Hard to tell, I only bought it a few nights ago. I've been vaping on it at the house, and carrying my eleaf to work. I just charged it for the first time tonight. Got about 2 1/2 days out of the first charge. This thing is a Beast.
