We lost our Angel (cat) last year. She was on the back of the couch looking outside, every once in awhile she would meow really loud. So, my Guy picked her up and put her on his lap. I knew it was her time to pass on. I go grab her blanket and put it underneath her, so that way there would be no mess on the couch. She died on his lap about 10 minutes later. She would look up at him, like she was asking what is going on with me or saying good bye. It was hard losing her, she had been part of our family for 17 years.

It is always very hard to lose a pet thats been in the family for many years. I've gone through my share of losing them and it NEVER gets any easier for me.

Aw, I'm so sorry. I totally get it. Bosco was in my lap, most of the evening before. When he wasn't, Penny was curled up next to him. The critter in the photo with my pup, is the new baby, Fitz. The pics I take of him make him look like a grown up, LOL. Very odd.

My male cat is a horrible beast especially when it's time to clip nails. I managed to clip one paw. I have looked online and found the towel trick. I suppose I'm going to have to restrain the cat to finish. Last time I asked hubs to help he ended up with battle marks.
My cats are weird. All 5 will come running when I call asking if anyone wants their nails done, and they only squirm a little if another cat tries to sniff their butt while I hold them.
That was before I started handing out treats after clipping. They like attention so much.Too bad they don't sit still when it is pill time. Pill time is the worst. I have been bitten at pill time.
