I never doubted your animal husbandry, but only warned that you might have found yourself taking good care of many more animals. My mother in law got a boy and girl and they were making more. IDK what happened after that cause we are no longer on speaking terms. lol
Lol yes these little guys are just as bad as hamsters and rabbits, they multiply like crazy. They're still quite nervous with us but are warming up as long as the kids don't scare them. Love their little personalities.
