Did your silver one come with a delrin wide bore?
Yup and the 510 Adapter, the only difference besides color is the barrel laser etching, mine is the Griffin Creature and yours is the word Griffin..

When My point Blank Lite (All Black) arrives, then you will regret making me jealous with your black Griffin!

All this equipment porn! Glorious!

I am getting that sigelie 50 v2. When it comes to the tank... I think she will run with the subtank mini with either the 1.2 or 1.5 coils. Trying to remember which of the two are better. Anyone have input on that?

If she doesn't like that then I will get her something else. Just don't want to buy stuff she isn't going to use if she chooses to bail back to Cigs again.

Not quite as nice as your builds, but I'm damn happy with it. Twisted 26g 316L 8wraps 3mm. Reading .2 ohms

Lol, don't drag her kicking and screaming into the "Dude! Totally awesome clouds brah!" thing. Give her a chance to get comfortable vaping simple like and to kick the the analogs first.

Lol, my girl started off with my Sig 75 and my old STM. At first she only vaped tobacco, now she won't even touch a tobacco juice. After about 3 months now she's telling people in the vape shop what juices, coils and batteries to use. I heard her tell a guy he is using re wraps and he should really only buy LG, Sony, or Samsung's, lmao. Now she vapes a Cuboid with a Crown tank in TC mode. I think it's safe to say that she has evolved.

@MidwestExpress - What about the juice? The nic level? Back in my evod days I was using 18mg nic. Today 6mg does it for me. Some young guys in my local B&M using lower resistance builds than me say that 3mg is too much for them, and they're half my age! I think you might need a variety of nic strengths for your wife to try Even get (or have her get some 12mg to start, just in case 6mg isn't enough.

I started my little sister off 6 mos ago with a Provari STM /1.2 coil that got her MTL vaping instead of smoking...today she is still tobacco free but liking to lung hit my subtanks like the Crown more and more..I think she will upgrade to a IPVD3/Crown subtank soon..the funny thing when she started vaping she wanted nothing to do with sub ohm vaping..lololol

I sub ohm. builds down around .14 ohm and I still walk around with 6mg. I do that because I love that melting feeling that the nicotine gives. Iwill say though... some of my RDA's I will use my 0mg juice because even 6mg nic will put some wiggle in the knees with only a 3 sec hit at 120 degrees.

She still has some 18mg from her Halo Triton kit. Enough to get her started. If that is too strong, I am assuming it will be, I will get her some 12mg or lower. She can always use some of mine to see if she likes that nic level better. The juice is going to be the fun to figure out with her.

Just wondering... what are thoughts on the kayfun tanks. Those look like good small tanks. Just been looking to have a backup for the subtank mini incase it leaks too much for her.

I gave my kayfun away for several reasons but mainly because it leaked alot..tight draw, hard to wick, and I hated the bottom fill screw seen here

I dropped that screw several times refilling it, (got on my hands and knees looking for it) and I had to use a special syringe as the tips on my juice bottles made a mess..and I got a lame vape when it did work..others may like the kayfun but I hated mine..wasted my money, lololol

Definitely pass on that. For her I want easy refil. Another reason I want a backup for the subtank. I thought about drilling a fill hole on the top and fitting with a rubber stopper nub.

Need to check the nautilus tank out again I think.

Nautilus was OK, but it had a really tight airflow, as I'm more of a lung hitter these days...probly be good for your wife though...

I've heard good things about the Kabuki being an excellent MTL tank....uses Nautilus coils and has better airflow
3cb0f1b509b861fa0f21258088b1e45a.jpg
It's rather pricy at about $90, made by House of Hybrids... Comes with a quartz 3ml tank, and available with either P3 (Provari Radius) or regular 510 threads... I also hear Zen has a lifetime warranty on these (except for the quartz glass tank)
If I was a tootle puffer (MTL) I would probably own one of these by now....

might have been mentioned but worth repeating! the Joyetech cuboid 150w is great for starters! and if she like to build coils you can upgrade it to 200watts and really open her eyes to vaping IMO! :D

That looks to be an interesting little walk around kit.
It may be a great Family Gathering/Field Trip Pen mod....I dont tend to buy these sort of things but there are many times when I have said I needed to get one for these situations...It looks pretty cool with the Bellus type airflow, Im hoping it will be a strong performer...atleast better then the Protank 3 I have right now.

I just checked it out. Let me know how that thing goes. I like to fill and no leaking.

Side note, selling my tfv4 kit in black if you know of anyone. Gonna post it to classifieds later. I got it but never use it. Always use my crown tank.

I dont touch my TFV4 either...or really anything else now besides my Griffin...The experience is better then anything else I have. Its going to be even better when I make some SS FC's and TC with them!

Curious as to how the coil mounts. It looks like it might be a similar set up to how the Cubis's cup style tank works.

My wife uses those little pen mods and way old school tanks.

I upgraded her over Christmas to a iStick 30W Silver, Naturalist Mini, with the upgraded tank. She loves her new rig. I liked it so much I went and bought the same rig less the tank upgrade for a work stealth rig. I cut the AFC off off mine and drilled two opposing larger holes to open up the air to be limited only by the coil. I also put a clear drip tip on it off a eGo One. Purchased it all at a local vape shop.

Take some pics nig nig, I just burned my Micro TFV4 SS coilhead and I dont have anymore coilheads for it...So I just rewicked it after a quick dryburn and its back in business...those little fuckers are pretty easy to work on compared to the normal TFV4 cores...

I used the triple coil that came with the tfv4. I saved it so that could check it out, tear it down and see if I can rebuild it like I did with my subtank mini coils back in the day for a backup coil on the go.

Current setup for the wife next to my daily driver. See how it goes. I have new gaskets coming for the subtank. Hoping that cures the leaks!

Gotta use what you have for all its worth! It makes a great stand for tanks and rda's!

I love the lavabox. Battery life is short of you are running 100+ on it. With tanks though it isn't bad at all. I'm around computers all day so if it needs a charge, I just plug it in. Also it does pass-through. So it charges while you vape. Also, it has smart charging. So you can charge it with a 2amp charger and it will scale down the power on the fly. I have not had luck with stainless steel so far with the dna mod. So I can't speak to that. For such a small form factor though... it hits hard and has been rock solid. It would be nice to get a higher capacity lipo for it but that will hopefully come in time. A big thing I like, is that it will fit in the front pocket of my pants. A little small in the hands for me but I have meat hooks for hands. It has been a great buy and I have been very happy worth it so far.

Hey all,

I am looking for a solid reliable mod for the wife. She has used vape pens and e-cigs in the past and never stuck with them and always goes back to cigs. She says that they never pull the same as a real cig so never stuck with them. She has now not been smoking for the past 8 months and is really wanting to be able to enjoy a cig and a beer in the next month and a half. She says that she wants to not smoke cigs again and is willing to try using a mod and tank as she sees me using mine all the time and how much I have enjoyed the switch from cigs.

Here's the thing though... she doesn't want a large box mod. She makes fun of me with mine and anyone she sees with them. Thinks they look goofy. So I am trying to find something small that will fit into her hand well. She has smaller hands. I want whatever she gets to be rechargable if possible so that she doesn't have to mess with a battery charger and changing out batteries and all the norm for us with that.

I am not sure which mod to go with for her. I have thought about giving her my Lavabox DNA200 because of its size but then I just think about the wasted potential with that as she will not be one to tweak with the mod at all. She wants to just hit the button and call it a day. I will also be giving her one of my tanks to use. Either my Kanger Subtank mini or my Crown. The Subtank Mini leaks like no other if you lay it on its side or it falls over in the car so I will probably not go with that. I don't want to give up the Crown tank but I think that would be the best bet for her. So I need a mod that will work well with that tank.

What are everyone's thoughts?
ProVari 2.5 and Nautilus tank...

I have that set up sitting here. To me, the air flow was always too tight with those small holes.
That's why I use aa Kabuki tank, but not many are willing to pay for one...
