Hello all! I am new to vaping, and am still wrapping my head around a few of the concepts. I bought a Smok Osub mini because it looked to be a great starter kit. I have been using it for about a month, and pretty much run from 30-40 watts depending on the flavor I am running. This was all done with the .4 ohm coil that was in it out of the gate. I wanted to change flavors up, and knowing the change was from two flavors that would not blend well, I followed some instructions to soak the coil in alcohol and let it air dry for a day. While this coil was drying, I tossed in the other included coil, which is a 1.0 ohm coil. Other than being limited to 35W, what is the difference in them? I have a good grasp on the electrical side of it all, since I am an electrician, but just curious if there is a perk to each resistance level. I realize that my mod sees the difference in resistance, and puts out more voltage to make up for the change in order to produce the wattage. Is there an increase in temperature when going with the lower resistance coil? Any advice on this, or direction to a forum thread that clears all this up is much appreciated!
THANKS!
