The wood is not really my thing either and I think the pics of the J mod are a bit I don't know boxy but this board will be found in many mods shortly.

That J mod might not even be a bf but every other mod they have is I believe so I assumed it was but the 510 does not look like a bf.

You know, mine came out the box, I had a build in an atty ready to go and I was off.... Still waiting for my first 'issue'
99% of those issues they are having are from either everyone thinking one idiot knows everything and listening to him, rather than figuring it our or listening to the people that actually do know so we don't feel the need to scream.
The rest are people focused on a new word not the numbers.

The first thing I do when my transmission goes out is get an oil change because that'll fix it. Same crap happened with the dna40... 15 people had a wonky screen in that thread so all of a sudden tc didn't work for anyone.
Granted that board is a little wonky and there things I don't like but its not bad, just finicky.

mine arrived april 4... I bought this setup sxmini and goblin rta as a solution to my problem of breaking ego type batteries and a various assortment of tanks. it has preformed flawlessly for me even after several run ins with the concrete and exposure to various conditions mostly those found on construction sites also various refrigeration oils my hands might get exposed too. if you treat yous like a Ferrari mine gets treated like I stole it... but in reality I pre ordered mine from varitube and they were good at getting it to me quickly I registered mine 6 days after it left the factory. for whatever its worth I would recommended it...

I wish some company would come up with a different battery cap to add on the Sx mini. It's my biggest complaint about it. It's a PITA to get off and getting on is even worse. Someone has to be able to come up with an after market knurled cap

Well, i wouldn't hold your breathe waiting for him to answer Vlad's request to post the details of his supposed "testing". I'd guess that chip has never spent a moment's time in Dr. G's hands lol.

On a side note this whole joules counter thingy has given me new appreciation of just how good those legit Sony VTC5s really were. 10 months old and still pretty much on par, at least by that count, with what i'm getting out of my brand new Samsungs. Around 17k each time...granted i tend to roughly pull all my batts out once the bar starts dipping under the half way point on any device.

Yeah, I'm missing my vtc5s, I stick with vtc4s, he2s,4s and 25Rs. The lgs and samsungs seem to perform identically and they're fine in a regulated mod. But the vtc4s are a real jump ahead in mechanicals, at least from what getting vape wise. I hear allot of talk one the subohm cells and vamped batteries; but, i have reservations on trusting any battery sold as, "designed specifically for vaping." Just sounds to much like gimmick or someone in moms basement with a hair dryer rewrapping, recycled ultrafires. Lol
Until i hear or see something concrete on a new cell, ill stick with what i know is working.

That is really a nice feature they added. Over time the folks that persistently submit their opinions as facts and not substantiate any of it or make half truth statements will be ignored by the vast majority of the forum users. At which point they'll be in their little circle wanking back and forth with each other not knowing everyone else has them on Ignore.

Mine are treasured as well. I am still kicking myself for a Shark I sold off a couple months ago and said I would include a he2 and accidentally sent it off with a vtc5 in it lol.

They cold have saved themselves a lot of trouble and just made the chip with upgradable firmware.

Vaporshark is upgrading my RdNA40 to the new chip that has the atty lock feature, but now I'm without my device for about a week.

A buddy of mine got the run around when he called and asked about that and I have two of them at OCD right now that I want swapped out or I'm selling them. Not real happy with the way they are screwing my buddy over between he and I; we've bought 12 sharks since the dna40 release.

I just wish they would put that feature on the small screen one. I think that's my biggest complaint with the dna40 chip. A lot of my problems of getting weak vapes has to do with the refinement and it thinking that the coil has a different resistance than it actually does.

Kinda pissed hat I have a 4 week old Hana v4d and right after I bought it, they started putting the larger screens in some of their devices. I would have bought one of those instead.

The upgrade feature was a big selling point for me with the sx, that's why I bought it.

I guess I'll just save my Hana and when evolve comes out with the next chip, I'll swap it out myself.

The next evolv chip is rumored to be 50w and a set it and forget it temp limiting.
After the great dna40 fiasco of 2015 evolv is going to have to do more before they see another dollar from me. I may see if there's a way to slip a yihi board in my shark when they get back, unless I can convince the shark people to swap out the board.

Sad part is alot of inexperienced vapors or people that don't understand technology see "dr" and big words and don't realize he's an idiot until someone like me or another guy(wont name anyone else) put him in his place.
Look back in that thread, I mentioned the concept I thought but couldn't prove, and he kept bugging me to say it.
