To anyone that bought a Pindad squonkable RDTA, I saw a post on the Psyclone FB group about folks putting Hadaly caps on 22mm Avacodo RDTAs so I went and checked. The Hadaly caps also fit the Pindad nicely and the airflow lines up well with the coils. I did nothing more than a quick test though as my Pindad had a fresh single coil set up and you lose the ability to cut off one side this way.

I tried an O-Atty clone cap and while it fits, the airflow doesn't line up that well. Maybe a slam cap would, I don't know. I have a NaRDA clone on the way and will be checking that too for fun.

this is how i feel about squonking RDTA in general

it just aint right, squonking is squonking, tanks are tanks... never together

No doubt. I kept wondering about this when first seeing sales pitches for RDTA for squonkers. Got a 10ml "tank" already in my CopperVape mod, which I only use about 9ml to account for tube displacement, the point remains though it is a large reservoir for juice. Not able to see a need for an extra tank. That noted, I also do not chain vape or burn through juice as quickly as some do, not sure I would see a need but I might if I did.

Kind of reminds me of a small software company charging $50 for the gtk-sudo program wrapped in their own cobbled together shell script. Hello? The gtk-sudo program exists to do exactly the same thing their script does, but it is absolutely free, as in free beer and free speech. Guess they had users clamoring to pay out $50 though.

*shaking my noggin* I will probably not ever comprehend it.

Interesting. I like them both equally. Of course, I haven't vaped one hundred atty's so my sample size is small...

I haven't seen any evidence the Pindad is worth desecrating my precious Hadaly

Yes I know, you've mentioned you weren't interested in it. I stated that it was for the folks that bought it. You're right though, it isn't really worth putting your Hadaly out of commission to make the Pindad better. I have 1 Hadaly and 4 caps though. And a clone I haven't built yet. Also it was just for laughs.

I'm not sure folks that dissaprove of the Pindad realize it's the size of a freaking thimble. The cap swap probably increases the chamber size by 50%. Using it isn't like using a dripper squonking, for sure! But I get to use my nice squonk mods and have something I don't have to worry about oversquonking at work or driving, etc. The area you squeeze juice into is semi-closed.

That said, I haven't used it in a week. I like my Hadaly way way more.

Reference pic. Won't mention another RDTA (Rip voice?) until someone else does.

wouldn't fully say stole the design, the bottle design is much better than the coppervape

lol I mean they did use Custom Classics pictures to promote their mod, coppervape is a "clone" of my mod with slight differences.

Contrary to your statement above - am not against BF concept for RDTA or the Pindad itself.

Actually curious about them, just not enough to buy one - yet

I am really loving the Coppervape with my Hadaly clone. It just works great and I'm sorry I waited so long to get one. Will definitely be buying another one :)

Got the No Legal clone in - THANKS @BrewBear!!

And initial impression - it's doing exactly what it was designed to do:
a) Standard cap = excellent flavor, but a tighter draw than I usually vape
b) Cloud cap = a little TOO much air from the top, I think - and no ability to adjust. AFC is only on the bottom. Lots of vapor, reduction in flavor
also
c) NOT having any trouble keeping the coils juicy - even though I sometimes do when they can't be right down by the deck
d) Not YET having any issues with the squonk hole a little raised above the deck - we'll see if I get scorched juice, but it may just be that none gets drawn down due to the combination of the "well" and the pin height. No way to know yet... Fact is, the atty I have that ALWAYS drops juice back and makes the bottle dark? Is my authentic Hellfire Fury. Doesn't make sense, but there it is...

So there I have it - it's a compromise either way! If that top airhole had some kind of AFC, this might be an EXCEPTIONAL atty, I "carburated" just one of those upper holes with a thumb (on/off, on/off, during a draw) and DAMN - really nice vape, lol!!

Still fiddling - this is my 10-minutes in review :)
Someone needs to make an atty with a thumb-urater (Trademark).

Yep - it'll definitely get use!
I'm thinking probably in the "I want some clouds"/more air collection. With good company - my main "more air" atty is a Stumpy.(that one actually closes down pretty good too).

Glad to see you like it....mostly. It really wasn't my kind of vape and I'm happy to see someone else enjoying it.:vino:

First experiment with square soy sauce bottle for squonk bottle in REO

Using the SS cap and tubing from the abomination that is the Frankenclone bottle

So far - very, very good. The tubing from the FC is short, so the bottle is hanging where the bottom is about midway through the door of the REO
Screen Shot 2017-03-02 at 7.36.10 PM.png
Barely touch it and it squonks - we'll see if it holds out for long....

Setting up the Eleaf Pico Squeeze was so simple. Used the premade coils that were given, but used my cotton. Using Sour Patch King juice. Not that bad for a 50w mod.

I originally thought it is a clone until I took a close look. They did use the pictures, but I am not that sure it's a clone per se. The battery placement, firing button, and bottle system are all different. There are more similarities between CC mods and TMods than between CCs and CVs.

Happen to know where @BrewBear got hold of this? If it's a 'cheap' clone ($25.00 or under) I might take an interest in something looking like that. Enjoying the Goon fine, it seems to have bumped out the Velocity decks for now as a favorite. Still looking at the pics of this has me scratching my chin fur and going "hm, hm, hm ..." :)

ETA ( Due to Mr. Norris looking in my direction with his usual Chuck Norris dead eye stare ):

There is no such thing as tornadoes. Chuck Norris just hates trailer parks.

When Chuck Norris was denied a Bacon McMuffin at McDonalds because it was 10:35, he roundhouse kicked the store so hard it became a KFC.

A duck’s quack does not echo. Chuck Norris is solely responsible for this phenomenon. When asked why he will simply stare at you, grimly.

Chuck Norris once kicked the Sears Tower so hard he went back in time a third time. While back in time, Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked a spool of wire creating the Internet and World Wide Web. Do not listen to Abraham Lincoln who indeed lies and states he invented the Internet and World Wide Web. Chuck Norris will eventually fix this time stream error, he is kept too busy roundhouse kicking Jackie Chan to sense in our own present time stream.

I bought it from FT, I believe it was around $20, it's not the SXK, it is the Smjk whatever clone.

Where did you get your squonk pin for the Hadaly? I just got one that was supposed to have the pin included and it doesn't. So, I may be on my own.

Thanks,
Chris

FatDaddyVapes 3mm, will need to be shortened or it will be above the air flow holes.

That totally sucks.

Did you check to make sure none of the included pins have that dastardly tiny screw blocking the squonk line, ala the Velocity clone squonk atties?
