So...i haz question...electrical-ish.
In these minimechs, like a Frankenfake or a Floris box, etc - does it make any difference which way you put the battery? And if so - why?

That totally sucks.

Did you check to make sure none of the included pins have that dastardly tiny screw blocking the squonk line, ala the Velocity clone squonk atties?

Yes, I did check that. I have one of the Velocity clones which had the block in it. Unfortunately, the pin just wasn't included. I emailed the seller on Ebay but, I don't expect much.

However, I did find some cap screws on Amazon that have the hole already drilled. I have some coming beginning of the week. We'll see if they work after some fitting.

Makes no difference, just reversal of the contacts to complete the circuit. Pos becomes neg etc.
seems like you would get a little jolt from the cap when it touches your lips but nope.
I don't recommend doing this btw. Or endorse it. I did it for science.

OK, I finally got my Wanko! It has waaay too much air for my liking but I will put a coil or two in it and see how it goes. It has a bf pin in the spares bag so that is one good thing it has going for it. I'll be back with more in a day or three.

Hi guys! Just posting an introduction. I've been lurking this thread for a while now, but hadn't set up an account to post until now. For background, I've been vaping since about 2009 and squonking for about the same amount of time. From original wood REOS to Journeyman, to Ali'ai, to vapage v mods, mr. puffers, etc etc etc. Currently my daily rotation is 4 REO Grands, a couple VT Inboxes, a few Wraiths, a few frankenfakes, and a pico squeeze or two. I also have a bunch of non squonk stuff, but it's not really the way I like to roll, so I won't list that stuff. It mostly collects dust. I have two custom commissions underway; a 20700 powered SX350J bottom feeder and a Dicodes BF60 powered squonker. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. I hope to be more active around here and maybe make a few friends. Carry on!

Oh, forgot to mention, I just made a couple VTC mini powered squonkers with the 3D printed kit available from Italy. I like them. Running Arctic fox on them.

I think these teeny little squonkers are the future - after trying the cheapo Frankenskull clone I am convinced of it

Not his time, lol...
Got one "on order" with ya. Plus picked something up in classifieds. Plus bought a "cat tree". Plus am "eagerly" waiting to see what teenager fender-benders are gonna cost me.
Yes, that's plural. :cuss2:

We just got a new cat tree too! WOOT!
Orcas are swimming around NJ someplace as of today, shouldn't be too long now!

And you know, regarding those fender benders....
Forgiveness is always free.....

It can never be done. I guarantee you that.
I may have borrrowed the same-ish shade so I could get the color transition I wanted from the door to the enclosure, but Lucy will always be one-of-a-kind :inlove:

It's an Italian mod using the VTC mini chip. They're roughly €140 or so, but you can buy the case and put the chip yourself, the run €39. I've lookingot at them for a while now.
For got the important part, the site is Svapiamo.

There are many, many differences, somewheres way back I think I posted some comparison photos of the decks and specifically the clamps, which are definitely inferior to the authentic.

On the authentic, I vape it with the air half shut. On the clone, I have to go wide open.

The flavor is much better and vapor is denser from the authentic.

Attys.jpg I keep hearing that clones are okay. Has not been my experience. My Chalice, my NoFear, my MantaV2, my Origen Little, my NarDa - all superior to clones. I'm hoping @Cloud_Generator's Vortice and Hyper Matty will be good too ...

Hey everyone!
I had sort of a fun idea for the prototype top-fire, "pigpen". In the spirit of testing and a little faith in my good humans, I was thinking I'd like to get him out and about, on a little bit of a scenic tour per-se. Here's the idea:
No money exchanged, the temporary owner of pigpen pays shipping to the next person in line and that's it. since I'd like to keep pigpen in rotation amongst known individuals, I'd prefer that it stays among members here where we can share our thoughts on the device and its journey.
The time for possession isn't set, but it should be moderate. No more than a month in your hands before sailing off to the wild blue yonder. Maybe you can add a note, initial the enclosure, whatever your little heart desires.
When pigpen's journey has ended and nobody else is interested, the person in possession can message me and I'll PayPal you the funds to ship him back. Same goes if he breaks.
I don't know how many of you folks would be interested but I love the social experiment of the idea and am willing to start the ball rolling asap!
