According to our friend @The Cromwell, the v2 repair kit from FT has a shorter replacement screw that does not bind and cause misfires like the OG can do (this is my understanding of what he has told me a few times)

Surprised he hasn't chimed in on this :p sure he will sometime soon
No! it is the V1 kit.
I only have V1 CV's.

The sctrew in the repair kit from FT has a non threaded shoulder which allows the screw to be snugged up in the button and the head on the screw is shorter. Which allows me to put a thin inside serrated washer between the screw head and the positive spring/strap.

Is there anything out there besides the hadaly that you can find glass caps for? I am not to keen on $85 atties, but I seriously drool over every picture I see of folks using the clear glass caps.

Any other single coil 22mm atties with glass cap options?

I'll fix that in the OP

That search brings up the crack pipe atty which never fails to amuse me. For those vapers starved for attention from law enforcement.

For you "tight draw," tiny atty fans...
I haven't heard much about this one, but it looks kinda interesting, and those 16mm choices are limited...

Supposedly the Fasttech Narda bellcap fits on the Ourmier Wasp Nano. It did not fit on my Narda though. Most of those clear caps are plastic by the way if they're on squonkers.

I love the way the Molly looks but am never on the ball enough to get one when they release them.

When I joined the FB group... they had a batch going up that Saturday ( Joined June 14th ) I sat there and second guessed it over ordering the Boxer...they sold out fast...The following weekend ( this past Saturday ) they had more...grabbed one, ( they had 5 colors ) shipped out Tuesday and Vaping it today.

If you're wanting one, going from my observation...They place them on their site early on Saturdays.

Can anyone recommend good bottles for the wraith sqounker? It's only a 5ml bottle so the previous links won't work.

Seven hours cleaning garden fence rows.

Had to refill the CV 2 times!
And change the battery once.
It is a good walk to the garden so I take my travel kit with me. Batteries, juice, etc.
and of course I have one of these in my Garden shed.

I see it has a built-in mod holder!

Wow! DUDE!!! You have OCD? I'm sorry to hear that, there's medical help for it though.... no, wait.....that's OC &D.....awww never mind!
Sorry @minimalsaint , just couldn't resist. That is a fine looking damascus cap!

Well, now that you mention it, my OCD did bring me to this atty. particularly the black delrin slam cap that came with it.
Also has a sandblasted cap, frosted acrylic 510 cap and the standard cap.
But holy shit this thing is nice. Whisper quiet and it's a damned fine vape.

That's the 22 mm Odis, right? What built did you put in it?

Yes.
And it's just my "every single coil" that I build;
24g SS316L, 6 wraps on just shy of 3mm gets me to about .5 - .6
I'll try moving the coil around a bit, the wicks aren't blocking the airflow but it's close, either way it doesn't seem to hinder the performance at all.

Here's a fun fact that I can't wrap my head around...
the fancy silver moddogs connector will not allow the o-atty to sit flush, and it's not a long 510 issue. Even with the guts out of the connector it's a "no go". I had to swap over to a modmaker connector and it threaded flush. Theres a 1mm gap where it just refuses to thread any further into the connector and I'm baffled.
On the note of the fancy connectors:
I was really on the fence for awhile with them but now after using I think they are a fantastic connector... compact, no leaks and makes for a complete silver circuit.
Now...
I'm having some difficulty with the price. At nearly 3x the cost of a modmaker connector I'm not really loving them that much and I doubt they will be a mainstay in the orcas. Perhaps the occasional special or upon request, but I'm pretty resolved to sticking to the modmaker connectors overall.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, even if they are to tell me you've had enough little plastic boxes and to move the fuck along :giggle:

That looks like glass, but I think it's plastic. And it's been out of stock for probably 6 months...I think it's a permanent situation...

I bought one 2 months ago. Yes it's plastic. So are the Munn Bell Vape ones!

Yeah! I don't have a plastic box or the cash to get it so move the flock along! Seriously, we go by your say so in this, you make the mods and you have the most experience with them. It would seem fair to me if you offered the silver 510 option at a slight price increase to defray your costs.

I will tell you this - after having slight 510 leaks with several other 510's, the modmakers you put in my Orca's have remained bone-dry now for several weeks. Nice solid connection point...I'm super happy with it, and would go for them again for certain.

I'd rotate that coil 90 degrees CCW for much shorter legs. :D

The YFTK bottles, Pulse and Trishul RDA's are arriving in today's vape mail. I don't know if I will be able to remove the Aeronaut 24 off of the Drone long enough to try them out, it's such a great RDA.

Oh, I think I'll always have a few around no matter what, it's just that I think I'll step back from going for the "latest and greatest" when other options are perfectly as functional, at a much lower price point to boot.
Snobbery and all that shit as well.
Anyways, I do like the feedbacks, and @Train I'm glad you're happy, and I've never had a lick of trouble with the modmaker connector. Even doing the "hot swap" with the moddogs / modmaker connectors in the white orca for the o-atty didn't make a goddamned bit of performance difference IMHO, but I'm not a hot-rod-modder / builder either so who am I to say. Just a guy.
