Just my own thoughts.
I prefer 0.5 ohms at 20 - 30 watts on a regulated mod.But to each their own.

I'm not sure I want one at all to be perfectly honest. I've fallen out of love with the solo but there's not much else that catches my eye right now. I'm on autopilot.
I think I might try to hunt down a soul s, but more-than-likely I'll end up shelving a device for lack of an atty to put on top.

Freaking USPS.My phantohm clone was processed through customs in Chicago,but instead of going to Minneapolis,it's now in St.Louis.Thats the opposite direction.:facepalm:

Not too bad! One of my packages got to Los Angeles (30 miles or so from me) a day and a half later was in Salt Lake then took a trip to Seattle and finally trickled down back to LA almost two weeks later.

I love it to bits, it's the highest-end device I've ever owned and its pretty much everything I want rolled into one.
I'm in for a 20700 tube, extra bottle and a new frame or two once they are released... rumors are there is a stabwood frame in the plans.... this device could be my new downfall lol

Well, I'm a complete *math* retard -- but I'm really damn good at arithmetic! :giggle: So I'm excellent at accounting type stuff, and I can operate a calculator like some kind of genius... but when you throw 2 variables into an equation, my eyes cross and I say something like "how the fuck am I supposed to solve THAT?" Y'know, like those frenzy-inducing things they put on the SAT, fractions with a variable on both top and bottom? Yeah right... I skipped every one of them. :D

I've managed to glean just a tad or two about all the Ohm's Law stuff just from reading on the forum... I started off as a complete dunce, but the more I read of it, the more it kinda trickles in... to a certain extent. My son is now pursuing a major in electrical engineering, and he's been coming home and blathering stuff, some of which makes sense in light of what I've learned as a vaper, and some is total WTF? territory. :giggle: "Purple, because aliens don't wear hats!" I told him, I know all the electronics I really need to know, to be a safe vaper. ;) It helps a lot that I'm a very modest and conservative vaper, so I don't need to worry about sub-ohm builds, or 2-battery mods, or anything really advanced like that. :)

I got 26x32 (Ka1/316l) in an OL16 and a Mulcibur on Picos and they hold out quite well.

Okay, yes... The first two hits are virtually duds.. But once the coil heats up :smoke:

Bits and bobs of info are starting to work their way into my brain by osmosis, I think. :) My husband is a genius and knows too much about everything so if I really get confused and need to figure something out fast, I ask him. He has little interest in vaping (owns an e-pipe which he rarely uses because of The Dementor) but he indulges my seeming-obsession with it. My sons? Even dumber than I am, impossible though that would seem. :giggle: I'm a wiz at some things but numbers have always boggled my mind - both math and arithmetic.

There just seems to be so many more mech squonkers than there are regulated squonkers, so I was trying to understand the whole mech thing for that reason. But I think I'll just stick with regulated for now. :D

This is one of the major reasons I've never even gotten started down the squonking rabbit hole -- other reasons being, the FDA's shenanigans, I thought I was running out of time to stock up for the way I already vape, and of course my requirement for a very tight draw atty further complicates the issue, since I have other firm requirements such as threaded rather than o-ring caps, and the position of the airflow -- side airflow always leaves me wondering just exactly where the flavor got to. ;)

But, since the FDA has moved the deadline back a couple years, I'm now starting to reconsider squonking, chiefly because only an RDA delivers truly saturated flavor, and squonking would remove one of my other RDA requirements: a huge well. Squonking might be the way I can remove or reduce my dependence on my 2 Achilles, which can't be replaced since they're no longer made.

But it's gotta be a regulated mod, due to my need for very-low-impact vaping (less than 10w). And, it's gotta be affordable, and so far, I really haven't seen affordable and regulated together in the same squonker.
