I didn't even think he'd get his billet hot enough to glow in 35 minutes, much less bang out a blade. Even the judges seemed amazed.

Hey, new squonker here. I recently got a Dripbox 160 and I'm loving it. I have a Coppervape, but I'm not crazy about mech mods. I understand the value of their simplicity, ease of repair, durability and reliability so I'll be keeping it, that's for sure. However, I like the regulated aspect of the DB 160. I must say it's very hard for me to get shit shipped to me due to customs. I finally got one of the larger Chinese companies to ship to me via courier which is how I got the DB.
I just finished a 3 month contract doing some work for the gov't and it was hell. The money was great, but I fucking earned it. So, I want to reward myself with a new mod and rda. There are these two coming out soon.

So Sigelei and iJoy have both put out nice devices in the past. And they've also both put out steaming piles recently. Unknown quantity indeed!
The Inbox is great. Small, light, very capable. It's not the sturdiest but it's not shoddy either. Affordable from most vendors.
It's actually really easy to use the SJMY bottles with it as well.
All around good choice.
Other nice options to look at:
The Yftk DNA75 SVA clone is another genuine DNA75 mod, just the body is a clone. Early on they had some quality issues, and it uses a screw adjusted 510 instead of spring loaded, but it's about as small and light as a device with a screen is going to get.
The Lost Vape Therion BF 75C and the Rebel DNA75C both use the newer chip from Evolv.
The Lost Vape Drone and Rebel DNA166 are dual 18650 options. The Rebel is 3D printed Nylon so very light for the size, but the Drone has a very large bottle that can be handy.
The Boxer 2x700 DNA75C Squonk uses 20700 or 21700 batteries if that's something you're interested in.

I think I'll hold off on the new ones until they've made the rounds.
There are some great options there. The YFTK is nice, but the Inbox has some better color options. I have to consider how much I'm willing to risk losing to customs. I'd walk an expensive mod into the country but shipping it is dicey.

You may want to compare, the V TInbox is a side squonk, the DB you already have is a front squonk. I don't like side squonks, the Therion is a very good choice and the 75C is the newest version they put on the market. I have two of the older model and love them.

The iJoy will probably work in power mode, but forget about any TC functionality if you were thinking of trying it. iJoy has no idea what TC is or how it basically even works.

Back plate popped off within 2 or 3 squonks so I polished it up and will do the front this weekend. 510 was loose and solder was not great so I tightened and resoldered. Super light and overall a nice clone mod for the price.
Drip tip is a tad too long, have another on the way for ~$2 to chop with dremel and figure out a glue to hold the sleeve on.
I knew I would prefer a pistol squonk (or whatever it is) with the bottle access to the front. I think the Evo may be the next mod, hopefully they will progress to 2*700 cells by the time I'm bored of the sva clone and ready to drop dough on a new mod.
Hand check from Los Angeles in 90° heat by the beach in October

Hazard: Idle devices discharge the included LiPo batteries to unsafe voltages instead of reducing the quiescent current draw as the battery voltage drops. Over-discharge causes the LiPo battery in these devices to puff or swell after as little as four months. While there is little energy left in the pack if it is puffed it is a lot easier for it to be physically damaged or pierced by the device it's in. This can release the organic solvents inside the cells, which are toxic.
What to do: This is a voluntary recall on behalf of DashVapes, Inc. in Canada. If you purchased a DotMod DotBox 300W previously, please contact DotMod at [email protected]. Please provide your receipt. DotMod has offered to pay for the return label on your behalf. DotMod will issue a credit or replacement for your device. Does anyone know of any possible way to get a bolt mod without having to use Facebook? There are so many beautiful squonker I would spend money on but alas I am not a social media user and that seems like the only way to do it.
So I was checking out a link and came across these rda's. Ones that rainbow wasp, looks really psychedelic.
The other is one of the closest clones I've seen (Entheon) except the engraving on the side??? This couldnt of just been a daaaahhh moment right?

Squonk Radar I know had them a few months ago. Check their website periodically. They have a lot of nice gear there... most of it is sold out but you might see something available that catches your eye. Be warned though, they’re in the UK.

Hmm.. how's the bottle that comes with it? I don't mind if it's a bit on the hard side, mainly concerned about any obnoxious polymer taste/smell. I'd really prefer not to have to fuck around anymore than I already have, to try and get a good squonk going.

They are pretty hard compared to others out there. You can pick up 5 of the softer bottles for $2.20 or 10 for $3.86....I can change out the battery and bottle in less than a minute - no problem. Nice DNA squonker for 61 buckaroos.....Oh, and no obnoxious polymer taste/smell that I can tell.
Didn't pull it, just marked as out of stock.3Fvape had pictures up of a resin Aleader Box Killer 80W BF Squonker for $38 and took it down. That must be coming down the pike

No polymer taste in the one that comes with? Frankly I think a stouter bottle is a good thing for me, at first, because it might help prevent over-squonking. but later after I get more accustomed to the squonk style, then I might like the softer bottles.

No polymer taste. I just washed them out with Dawn and water. And they work fine enough
