Instead of trying to get one from Squonk America (though still going to try to get one from there), ended up ordering the B2K from Dash Vapes. See if it’s hype or not ($61 including shipping isn’t too bad).

I promise you it's not hype. It's a great squonking atty. Easy to build, hard to over squonk, airflow is great and highly adjustable, and the flavour is great. Three different top caps, all for $60 is a pretty good deal to me. Good to see Dash Vapes got a few more in. I'll probably pick up a another one.
I started squonking on a REO Grand in 2014 and have tried my fair share of squonking atties. Most of the time I'll buy a clone to see if it's in the general ball park of what I like. Most of them end up being hype more than anything. The Hadaly was a disaster of a squonking atty to me, leaked juice everywhere if you looked at it the wrong way.
Of course everyone's personal preference is different, but right now it's my favourite.

I recently got a KB DB 160. The bottles had a powerful odor. First, I washed the bottles with hot water and soap. Then I filled them with a water/vinegar solution and let them sit for a day. Then I washed them again. Afterwards, they were odorless. I used both bottles for a couple of days. I then let them sit for 5 days as I was waiting for some juice to steep.
When I pulled them out, each still had a bit of juice in them. In both the original plastic smell was present, not as bad as at first, but noticeable. I've been using one of the bottles for the past two days and I've gotten over the smell but I'll be happy to ditch these ones. I've ordered some of the bottles being discussed the day I got the DB so hopefully I'll have them next week.

I'm trying to figure out which position I prefer. I tend to flip them around all the time. lol I don't mind the side squonkers, either. Kinda leaning toward preferring them as I sometimes get braindead and hit the squonk bottle instead of the fire button.
To me side squonkers tend to be a left or right handed thing while edge squonkers work in either hand.
That depends for me. Most times the fire button I use closest but I do swap that around at times.
Use a count. I squonk about ever 8 or 10 hits for example. It's about then wick starts going dry.

If my right hand was incapacitated, I'd be totally screwed.

Ok.. though I'm not sure that's a reliable way to know. I soaked the dark bottles that go with the DB160 for 24 hrs in dish soap, then a couple hours in dilute isopropyl, rinsed, and let air dry for 24 hrs -- they seemed absolutely pristine, and at first, I tasted nothing -- but that initial break-in of the coil and wick masks a lot; once that cottonish taste wore off, and the juice had been sitting in the bottle for a couple days... I started tasting a faint plastic taste, similar to the taste of some driptips.
