Sorry. I had seen this somewhere and kind of overlooked it. Glad you posted a video review.
Tore down the coppervape the other day and couldn’t find the contact screw, I just about gave up and opened a rebuild kit when I picked up the roll of paper towels and it was lodged in the bottom of the rollAnd back to normal
EDIT: One of the Isolation washers for the contacts vanished for about 8 minutes, was cussing up a storm...was stuck to the microfiber cloth lol

compare the screws. I found the one in the rebuild kit worked better than the one that came in the coppervape.
One has threads all the way up the other one does not.

I’ll take a look. One thing I noticed is the spring is plated steel (sticks to a magnet). I like my builds around .2>. The spring gets hot and have some arcing marks on the contact screw/battery+, even after polishing/contact greased, may experiment with making a copper/silver upgrade.
That is where the all thread screw worked better for me in the end of the switch.
And yep mechs need at least once a week attention and a fair bit of cleaning.
Why I am looking forward to the Pico Squeeze. Minimal hassle in a small squonker.
The maintenance need is exactly why I don't use mechs much. I kept the L'il Pinch but don't use it much. The SV mods are a bit different, the silver oxidation helps conductivity. Other than that, regulated squints for me.
Been trying to figure out how to convert the Coppervapes into mosfet....
Getting close with a drop in module thingy....
got some SMT mosfets in the mail towards me.
Speaking of that! I tried a fucking huge coil! (3.5mm) in about 5 wraps I want to say. And only need 30-40w and it vapes on my Haku beautifully Oo!

Feeling a little guilty, basically spent all weekend catching up on zzzzleep, glorious while it was happening but having a little 'sh!t now what was I doing again' moment right now.
Surfing around & catching up, That damn Dotsquonk is tempting the pants off me but I have some other vape (shinyitis) priorities first.. it's a vicious cycle... like one door opens ...into a room with a sh!tton of other doors!
The Asmodus / Ultroner Luna stabwood is a little tempting too. Another $100 steal. Nice built in protection features with a tiny indicator light, side fire button & front squonk is hot too. Really digging the green one. They have the purple in stock on the Asmodus site:

...consisted of getting both my Haku's stuck on the topcaps of my Paps (fcuk!) Still haven't sorted it yet.
Good with the frustrating tho.. via a few cool gifts from a buddy who knows I collect Dotmod drip tips, he found some of the older ones at a B&M while out of town.
The tinyer friction fit & a few metal ones.. biiig and heavy those but will be cool on somethin, also a handful of coils & some nice juice from Centerfold Vape. 'Bebe' pumpkin cream which tastes like pumpkin carrot cake. Having some with my 'morning' coffee right now... all cozy feeling like when you're watching Newhart Vermont years (If that makes any sense?)

What has become abundantly clear in the race to grab a few bucks on the squonk bandwagon is that most of these makers do not understand squonking one wit

I watched a video the other day where a guy put stacked 18350 batteries in the Pulse squonker. Don't remember what the benefit was but he says it works just fine. And that brings me to this. Where do you guys get your 20700 batteries, wraps, and cases? I always get my VTC5As from IMR but they sell out of the 5-legged IJoy 20700s fast and I don't see that size wraps or cases on the website.

As for cases & wraps, I just use 26650 sized stuff and cut them down a little for wraps. It’s not ideal but it works till I get around to buying some shrink tubing specifically for them

The tracking for my Pico Squeeze said they tried to deliver it to 91914 (Friday)...I'll have them print out the tracking then I'll point out that 91914 is them and why wasn't it accepted at 3pm Friday.
I think its funny when you confront people who don't know the answer to something and they lie and give half sane excuses. Just say you don't know why.
Similar to when the wife and I go out to eat, she will ask the wait staff..."Which one would you suggest?" I tell the wife as the wait staff is looking, "They are trained to suggest the most expensive item between the choices you are asking about, they truly don't care which one you are ordering as long as you're efficient doing so."
