Nice looking mod

I'd put it through a few paces at home before writing it off as a homebody - there are more than a few quality top magnetic top squonker out there that stay and stay well - Custom Classic as mentioned above, Tmod and a few others

I got it as a homebody anyway, so as I use it now, its definitely secure enough ;)

For pocketing, the concern would be more for disconnecting the squonk bottle from the 510 rather than just having the top come undone. If you "peel" the top plate off to the side rather than pull on it straight, the bottle will remain inside the mod and will likely disconnect from the 510. I think if that happens without you noticing, the next time you squeeze you'll end up with juice going everywhere except for the atty.

Other than that, no issues with this one. Its got a very nice texture to the nylon body and the entire block is silver plated brass, so it has a very nice feel and weight to it. Button press is like any other mechanical 3D squonk box, you can adjust the tension/throw to your preference.

Has anyone got any insight on the Viscous Ant Spade squonk? One came up for trade in one of my FoolBook group. I looked at a few videos, but would like some first hand advice from someone that's had one of these. Thanks in advance

How did you search that out? I've had problems searching for posts. This is probably the dumbest question ever.

The main site via computer you can do a search and it has the options to search this thread and by who...

When using tapatalk...the search is up top, but I searched the words, "raspberry lemonade: so619cal"

Then it only listed me with those words

Don't have one - but was sorely tempted to get one - even with Philippines shipping prices

Yeah, they have some crazy shipping cost! 1/4 of the cost of the mod....
Of course I created an account and placed one in the cart...
I'm really tempted to ask the wife because she'll say if I have the money get it, You work hard and all that...
Guess in gonna use the old sleep on it for a day or two and if I still want it that bad, I'll pull the trigger.

Best I can do is to toss a YouTube review at you.

By the way this 1 is on my (WHEN I HIT THE LOTTERY LIST).
The Valkyrie which is made by the same company is still on that list.

Looking to help a local vape shop out. His boss purchased a bunch of Anchor Alumide edition squonk boxes and they just aren't moving off the shelves. I got one and it's been really great. Just seeing if anybody would be interested if I can help the manager move some via the forum. Pm me if you would be interested!

I ordered those swivels that were mentioned a long time ago in this thread. I think @raymo2u made them. I was wondering what is the best wire to start trying simple claptons? I only have experience making twisted wire coils and simple parallels. I hope this isn't going to be over my head but I figured I'd try again.

If you wanna make simple claptons they're very easy. But if you want them to be super simple no hands, look up the spool tamer method and buy these Beadalon 3-Piece Spool Tamer Set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KAZ139M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_I1MEAb275PBJN

Do you mean the clamps raymo has just started selling? Because those aren't swivels and also not needed for claptons.

Those thingamadoodads from raymo are great for the more "involved" wires (the stuff you'll be doing a few months from now:);)) and a great investment ( I bought a set). For simple claptons stay about 8-10 gauge numbers apart...so you'll be doing a 28g core with a 36 or 38 g wrap. Not chiseled in stone, but a decent rule of thumb. The Daedalus Pro kit is good (comes with everything you need including some 40g kanthal for the outer wrap), make sure you get the whole kit....I didn't and want to kick myself.
Claptons, you can get a pack of deep sea fishing swivels (the ones with bearings, @So619Cal can tell you which ones) and a spool tamer helps a lot.

I'll vouche for the spool tamer trick. It hasn't been hands free for me yet but damn close. Have just had to let the spool rest against my hand so it doesn't twist. But other than that great.

It went faaaast! The seller had it listed for a while but re-listed it for a bit less now. People were offering to buy the Nuppins but the mods were a bit pricey...

Boy oh boy. I own a few high end mods. So big whoop. We used to talk about more about pico squeeze, coppervape, pulses, athenas, nudges, etc. etcv. You know what? The Chinese have nailed the market. They are producing great affordable squonk mods. Yes some of their 3Ds are pure crap but guess what. I've had to fix expensive 3D mods quite often. The nut gets loose. The contacts get dirty. The supplied bottle needs changing. I have to buy silver contacts to correct voltage drop. I had at one time 16 squonks in the house. I now have 13 - my lucky number.

I think the spade is cool. I also think it is overpriced. Just as soon use a luna, TBH, for half the price - well less than half actually.

Luna is a nice mod, I have two of them. I wish the whole bottle/connection was better, it tends to seep a bit especially when refilling with a refill bottle and since I am picky, I wish they payed more attention to the whole fit and finish part. Given the price, I can live with all the nit-picky "faults" since they perform well.

You can refinish the mod with a fine mesh and polish. And you can change the bottle out to a different one. I do the same often with expensive high end mods.

I agree, I will do all that but I have to wait until I get a bit of spare time. On a happier note, I got the B2k gold deck and the MTL gizmo so I'll be a happy camper.

Got a couple of days off coming up and I'm gonna try to make some simple claptons. Bought a fuck-ton of wire and spool tamers  May want to trade my Dead Rabbit SQ for a Pulse 22 if I can't find the right coil.

I am running a dead rabbit sq at the moment and am getting decent flavor and vapor out of it. 2.5mm I.D. fused Clapton. Dual 26g ss316 core with 36g kanthal outer core. 6 wraps on the coil

The 20700 orca enclosure mills the extra battery space as a channel. Leaving a darker toned strip.

Still waiting on dye and other stuff. This dna75 looks easier than the puny little dicodes bf60

What kind of dye or process will that take. Just bought a white delrin orca should be here this weekend. Thinking of dyeing. Also thought about hydro dipping but not sure if the paint would be a good thing or just come off.

fabric dye, but you need the stuff formulated for synthetics

from what i have read, keeping liquid hot, just below boiling [around 95 C] is paramount to good results

there are other brands with more colour choices, but i'm just going for "kentucky sky"

So the liquid kind is ok then. They have more color options in the liquid. But thinking orange it purple. Got a resin cap for a wasp nano that's orange with purple.

Yup same basic design except there’s a contact plate on the 510 you’ll have to remove. Super easy though. You may want to pick up some double sided tape too bc that’s what’s holding the L-shaped contact in.
