Any build reccomedations for the authentic Hadaly?..lowest ohm range I can consider?
I switched to SS316 wire so no kanthal builds for me personally.
I can do twisted and basic Clapton's or just plane old standard wraps...I have a 2.0 2.5 and 3.0 mm jig to wrap on and I use cotton bacon v2 cotton.
Personal suggestion here, take it or leave for what it's worth. I find that usually 5 wraps around 3 mm inner diameter gets me between .3 - .5 ohms no matter the wire material type. Also find that a
good sweet spot for most any RDA I put the build on. Some others have seemingly adopted this kind of building as well, it just seems to be a
good over all general purpose build, even with plain old Clapton wire.
Currently, I'm using a .5 build of A1 Kanthal @ 24 awg on a Wasp Nano deck. Got a hundred pack of them off Fast Tech, so far the pre-coils I've got from there seem pretty spot on as to being what they say. A .5 coil also benefits as far as length of charge held for a single 18650 cell. Going to around .2 to .25 ohms gets a bit too hot, heat wise and eating up battery charge wise for me.
Note regarding pre-coiled, for around $3.50 USD, considering time spent doing the wrapping imho, you can't beat the price. Temco sells 100 ft rolls of wire around $6.00 USD and sure you might get more than 100 coils out of that but will they all be consistently the same ohms? What is your time worth to get that? Besides that a bit of laziness does creep in on a person.
Again this is only an opinion. I won't be upset if ignore it, or be too bubble headed if you use this type of build. I'm not pushing any specific build nor am i denigrating any specific build. All in I hope you find what works best for you.
I'd start with your favorite build and just go from there - I love mine and just do a boring old Clapton
Yep, here's the ultimate advice.
