PEDRO!

Seriously though, I tried to watch that movie a few times and each time I was able to get 4 minutes further...

I only remember Pedro...

Watched a few youtube vids of the UK vape expo 2018 in Birmingham. Following is a few things I heard:

a) There will be a Drop Dead rda soon. Collab between VC and Heathen
b) There will be a 22mm Drop rda soon (late May - early June)
c) There will be a regulated Wismec luxotic squonker soon per Jaybo (one to two months)
d) The Britts have beans for breakfast

There were a couple of dual battery regulated squonkers coming out that looked promising. Of course Mikey Vapes has his single unregulated one coming out in a couple of weeks too. That's all of the worthless news I have for you at the moment :)

I'll be waiting for a DNA 250C dual/triple or LiPo pack squonk to show one of these days! I just spent the last half hour installing the latest international service pack on the DNA 75C Therions. Replay actually works as advertised and I really, really like it! Now I have an incentive to actually put together the DNA 75C squonk kit I have, "replay" is the way TC vaping should be without the tinkering.

About as long as it took some people to realize the Pico squeeze is a great, inexpensive little mod? In another decade or so even the chinese boards will get close to it!

Pico Squeeze is only about two years old - Evolve DNAs has been around what, about three? four?

Last week when I went to change some settings in Escribe and upload them to my Inbox v3, there was a service pack for that too, not DNA75C, but just the DNA75. I loaded it, but have not noticed any changes to how the device operates since then.

I should have checked to see if there was a changelog or release notes, but no worries as of yet.

It's leaking like a sieve in behind the plate. The battery ribbon is absorbing the juice and wicking it into the mod. As with all mass produced consumer goods, ya pays ya monies and ya takes ya chances.

I really like the Luxotic otherwise, I would buy another one.
Could you not swap out 510 to a mod maker with metal feedtube ,

I'll see what FastTech's ultimate resolution to the situation is. If I get to keep the mod either way, I'll look into changing out the 510. I'm sure the problem is someone messed up assembling the 510 and probably forgot an o-ring or something in there.

Im guessing it's easier to keep check on juice with the atty too, especially on a mech of fet type as mentioned no dry hits or forget to Sqounk or over Sqounk, just keep juice within the small tank + an extra ml or so carrying

Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Yes, thought of that but it still doesn't seem to fit for me. Knowing me it's possibly an extra glass bubble which will shatter due to my klutziness. Rather not risk that when I can carry a 6-10 ml plastic, silicone bottle right inside the mod itself. The dry hit problem? Well, you eventually do need to experience at least one dry hit in your time vaping. That will hopefully garner you experience to know, "if my vape starts weening off or tasting like camel dung, I better wet my wick". And barring that use a simple rule of thumb, six to ten drags off your last squonk, squonking time again.

This is one of those discussions for me which seems akin to the newly innovated child in the backseat beepers in cars. If you're that bad of a parent to go off and leave a child in a hot car, or a dog, cat, pet ... do you then really legally, morally, ethically need to be responsible for any other sentient life form? Matter of fact, can we just sterilize you and be done? If anyone is offended by that, no, I do not apologize. I'm glad you're offended. Understand that your lack of maturity, responsibility offend me. Guess we're even. :) Have a nice one.

Having fun playing with the tiny Demon Killer atty.
Next thing to try is a 27 ga SS parallel coil.
Not bad with a 3mm 26 ga SS 7 wrap.

Think I'll go the route of an O' Little 16mm again, if I want smaller than a 22 mm Wasp Nano. Had one and was not patient enough with myself to learn building on it. I shipped it off to someone. I'll see if I want one later on.

As it is I'm loving the joy of Debian fouling up programming environments. Recently, started exploring Haskell which uses a stack, or as it was once called at one point a heap. All your stuff goes on there instead of requiring buffers that waste uncompressed memory pages. The stack gets garbage collected either natively or via a program's system call to do it. Well, it'd be nice if a distribution set up defaults like other distributions, but no Debian has to be different. I bet this is @chopdoc 's doing, he knew I would get into Lisp and then Haskell again, got the Debian policies on it changed just to pick at me. :)

Ah well it keeps living interesting, maybe, ... hm?

You're welcome, and btw, you are no longer a lurker since you posted:wave::vino:

Now, they need to go into Flipper rotation for the next week. They also get our famous no-prize prize of imaginary purple unicorns. :)

Welcome to our odd ball thread @Hawki. We try keeping it running smooth, some of us are told we're quite trying. :) Enjoy the Dark Side in squonkerville. :)

I got an email a day or so ago. They are stopping several materials they used to print with.Alumide is 1 of them, they call it metallic plastic. Here is the text from the email.

Got my 26g Nichrome today and made a bit of fused clapton. It makes a difference in the Supersonic as well as the KRMA. In fact, I'm starting to like the KRMA to the detriment of the Hadaly and the B2K Caviar was relegated to third string, gold plated deck and all.

So, who carries MM parts in the US? All I know of is Varitube and Fat Daddys

(and I just sat thru a YT of some older german lady apparently ripping FDV for Varitube BF 510's - my german is almost fossilized and ruined - but she was definitely peeved ;-)

I was gonna try to trade it but then it wasn't a full mod so I couldn't really do much with it. Kept putting off buying a moddog nano ($24 shipped in usa) until last week and it came in today. I just hate the mod maker but this thing feels great I love this 3d carbon.

"Well, piss!" Need to buy more batteries. That is something I had not thought about. Now, have three different mods and having to play catch as catch can rotating out between one or two batteries.

Have four yet one yesterday had the wrap come off. It was a clean breakage in the wrap, thinking likely from general wear and tear of in and out of battery tubes. Got spare wraps as IMR sends at least one or three with orders from them.

Wife will get a cheap hair dryer from Goodwill soon. Would have re-wrapped the battery yesterday had we one. She's odd, does not seem to have a need of a hair dryer despite her long hair. Told her I needed a hair dryer. "Shrink wrap," she asked in response.

Use a bic lighter to shrink wrap....much faster, and simple.

I use a Wagner heat gun.
A hell of a lot faster!

Ah, now to look for a spare lighter. He he, think I hid one or two from myself. Yay, now that's done. Tell you what, ...

what. Might be dangerous if I could think of such things myself.

Yes, I hide stuff from myself too. I almost think it is a universal man thing. Men learned long, long ago that if we put stuff up, it vanishes forever. So we leave everything out and around, until, the woman comes along and yells at us.

"You better put that up!"

In our minds we hear a little voice saying, "oh no, now it'll be gone." See if we got stuff out, we can see it, we know where it is and can go right to it and use it. Put up it's somewhere else and we're not sure of that because stuff put up vanishes on us. We cannot blame women though. It's the act of putting stuff up, it signals to us that we don't need it anymore ergo it can go away and we don't care.

So to defeat my woman coming along and telling me to put stuff up, I hide stuff. Mainly I hide it from her but this also happens to hide it from me, too. And if I hide it, it isn't put up but strategically left out in plain sight yet concealed. :)

Sure it's chaos but damn it, it's my chaos, I got it filed. ;)

Personally, I wouldn't use an open flame near any battery.

I can see not putting batteries into burning cans, bonfires, brush fires, camp fires, wood stoves burning, outdoor wood heaters. Yes, that could be quite dangerous and I diligently try to avoid doing that knowingly. A Bic type of lighter though used responsibly as a source of heat for shrink wrap, I can see the possibility of danger, yet can also see the practically of such use. I checked the battery after it shrank the wrap on. It was not hot and there were no carbon spots indicating any damage.

Working fine in a CopperVape. I'll keep it out of a Pico for a bit to ensure it doesn't take a notion to become a pipe bomb. Not quite understanding how the Pico Squeeze gets by without obvious vents. I leave it's battery cap just a nudge loose in case I need to free a hot battery. Hope that's not needed.

Yes, I have had to free a hot battery before. The only explanation for it deciding to try going nuclear, it might have been an end of cycle cheaper battery. It had lost capacity to hold charge, and started to purge out its last charge. The cell was in a Coppervape. I quickly took the top of the mod off, then gingerly unscrewed the battery cap, took it in hand then in towel and ran it outside placing it on some piece of scrap lumber out in the open away from anything. Let it cool a few days until I got it and took it for disposal at a hardware shop.
