Yep - that's it, thanks!! It SO looked like a single piece - no hint of a seam, wouldn't turn...but now I got it and it's all good.
Awesome. Glad to hear you got it sorted out. I couldn't have thought of a good reason why one would not have some sort of nozzle or 510 threading.

It's actually not been too bad a winter, above average until Feb and the Polar Vortex that's hammering everyone all the way down to Texas. At least we're used to it and life continues as normal, I feel bad for those down south. Do you miss it? :giggle:

I'm in Texas. Sadly, we've been spending more time fixing shit than vaping. Busted water lines everywhere. Even a busted water heater. We're hoping the heating bills won't exceed the repair bills.

Poking through the vape junk box, I pulled this out.
I remember thinking it just sucked, but on second glance, I thought, "actually, this might kind of be an OK design for how I vape now".

And it is! Not too bad at all, and I kinda like the look The AFC is stuck - but it's stuck pretty much where I'd put it anyway, lol. This is the RDA that came with a Wraith when you had to buy the "kit"...

Ought to itemize your repair and heating bills, send them to the governor. Explain that it is their fault this stuff happened for representing special interests, and not the People. Give them net 30 (30 business days) and then send another itemized bill with 10% added each week after that.

Explain you're acting in your own business interests to bill the government & will keep adding the 10% weekly. You pay their salaries via paying taxes. If they're not working for you, you should bill them. And you legally can under contractual law. They "sign" a contract in swearing themselves into "office".

Oops, did I find a wide open loophole that turns the whole system on its head? Darn, how dare I do such a thing.

Since it has been a while since I posted a family pic of my squonkers, I was going to pull them all down and dig the ones out of their boxes that I have tucked away. But I didn't have the time to do that right now. I will get one next time I reorganize. For now, here are the ones I have on my shelf.

I see four in your picture that I have one or more of in that style of mod.

Coppervape
Athena
Thunderhead Creations
Looks like a Vapoo Pulse

If you got a Wismec Luxotic in among 'em, got one of those as well. Interesting how we seem keen on a lot of the same kind of stuff. Then again it is squonking and not a huge market.

Guess it is like they say, "Great minds think alike"...

Sadly, the market is pretty limited. Seems squonk mods are returning to the custom modder and high end side of the industry again. China lost interest in them, so very little mass produced squonk mods are out there anymore.

Mass-market squonkers sure aren't available like they were a year or 18 months ago. So many of them got dumped for ridiculously low prices, too, like the Luxotics and the Wotofo Rams. We were talking about the vapocalypse even then, so I think people stocked up on them - I think I have two Luxotic BFs, one Lux MF (or DF, I can't remember which), and about four or five Rams. Wish I'd bought more Athenas - that one has turned out to be a favorite for me.

My one Coppervape has developed a case of temperamental switch disease, and one of these days I'm going to have to operate on it. It's packed away in a tote somewhere right now, though, and I haven't found the motivation to dig it out. I had a chance to buy a brass one from Mr. Meowgi at one point - wish now that I'd done it.

And then there's the OG Pico Squeeze. I just got my first one, after reading all the glowing remarks about it for nearly three years. I was just being stupid and stubborn, waiting so long.

Got one nearly new and one unopened new one put back. Still using the one you sent and liking it more each day. :)

Best hurry and try to get some of the $3 repair kits Fast Tech carries for them. You might also try making the firing bar out of something other than cheap brass. Coppervapes to me are nice.

Bit off track of Coppervape. Still got an old Reo grand clone tucked away, ... somewhere.

Got one of these. It has taken residence with the Reo clone, ... somewhere. *smh* Dagged if I know where exactly.

Think the big issue will soon be getting unflavored base juice at the nicotine strength I like. As I've said, just not got the inclination to mix 100 mg nicotine down to 18 mg. I know there's a formula. I just am not to mentally set to get into dragging all of it out, cleaning it up when finished mixing a batch.

If someone doesn't mind mixing a batch up every so often, I'd not mind paying a few $$s but I don't want to spend my right arm either. Currently I'm seeing a 1 L jug go for $40 - $50. That I might could handle every 9 months or so. Goes beyond $60 for 1 L jug, forget it.

And sure, I get that supplies will become expensive. That isn't a fault of me the consumer though, so, no I'll not pay higher prices just to appease some government stupidity.

Maybe you could think about this - translate my 6 mg into your 18 mg...

I usually order 30/70 pre-mixed 6mg base. It's $23.99 a liter at LNW.

Well, for around $9 I can get a 240ml bottle of 24mg in VG at Delosi Labs.

I take an empty liter bottle, empty that 240ml bottle of 24mg nic into it, add one 240ml bottle of PG (by just refilling my nic bottle with PG and shaking it a bit), and then fill the rest of the liter bottle with VG. Doing that, I end up with 25/75 6mg pre-mixed base. Close enough for gov't work.

And I know good and well that the PG and VG I'm adding to that liter bottle does not cost $14, which is the difference between a liter of pre-mixed at LNW and a 240ml bottle of 24mg at Delosi.

I'd be in the catbird seat if I could get that 24mg nic in PG - because then I could just dump that into an empty 1 liter bottle and fill the rest of it up with VG. Easy peasy!

Holy cow! Delosi Labs it is then! Gah! ~$22 for 1 L of what I want exactly.

Version 2 but it like Version 1 are discontinued.

It's good to know the terms to search for in the future nonetheless. Thx!
Mine has an upgraded mechanism, I've field-stripped the fucker once already, and I take good care of it, but it's always good to know where parts could be found. :)

Now if I could find a brass one....that wouldn't cost a body part. ;)

Is there a go to 21700 Regulated Squonker? I have a Topside and am looking for another Regulated squonk.

Pulse v2?
Another Topside?

On the more expensive side a 21700 VA Spade?

Thanks for your thoughts, it's been awhile since I've visited this thread.

Asmodus Pumper 21 (if you can find one), Luxotic MF, Desire Cut, Revenant TVL Delta

All of these have some age on them, and none were expensive, but nevertheless good vapes all.

Oops. You said regulated. Ok, the Cut and the Delta are regulated. The other two are semi.

The topside is really popular, but there have been lots of complaints about the battery door breaking or not staying closed, and some complaints about them leaking from the top down into the battery and on the board. But lots of people say they had no issues with theirs, so it could be a roll of the dice there.

The pulse is mostly positive reports, but there are a few that have issues with the bottle leaking from the bottom. Seems there are a few fixes for that issue though.

The VA Spade is a solid choice if you don't mind the price tag, I have not heard anyone complain about having issues with one.

BMM mods seem to be really popular too, and they have a reputation of being very high quality. But like the spade, they are not cheap.

Vicious Ant makes some really nice stuff. I am sure you won't regret it if you get one. If you buy it new from the VA website, make sure to grab all the spares you might want with it, like doors and extra bottles, because the shipping is expensive. It cost the same to ship a single bottle or door as it does multiple mods.

Lost 2 squonks. Pulse 80w keeps leaking through the 510. Luna has a bad solder connection & quit working. :(:( I'm done with regulated/wired squonks. I would like to get the SQ217 but the price $352 shipped is more than I want to spend. I've been happy with my Furyan & Dotmech so I'll probably pick up another one of each.

The Squeezer is a really nice inexpensive option. They run around $25 and work really well.

If you want an SQ, the used market is the best place to find one for a good price. They can be found for between $100-200, and they are well worth the price. Maybe post a WTB up on the classifieds, sometimes you can get lucky.

I'll be honest I don't have pay pal. I keep seeing all the great deals in the hardware section. The only reason I haven't setup pay pal is because then I would have no excuse & I would never stop spending Lol!!

I can't say your thought process is flawed there. Over all my time on these (and other) forums, I have spent quite a lot on gear from their classifieds. But I do have to admit, I have saved a ton of cash over buying the stuff new. I have bought a $400 mod for $100, for example. And from my understanding, after the shipping ban, used gear will still be able to be bought from places like this. I am pretty sure that private individual can ship up to 10 restricted items ever 30 days. (I know I saw that somewhere, I thought the USPS website, but I cannot find the link right now)

That was definitely in the text of the original Senate bill 1253. I read it myself several times. 10 occurrences per month.

Latest 2 new mods - Dovpo Bushido and a "Beater" from ModMaker.
The Bushido is really nicely finished metal box with a nifty fill-from-the-bottom feature. Beater is nicely printed - kind of smooth and sparkly front and back, grippy texture on the edges. Both about as tiny as you can get.

The Bushido does, for some reason, seem to have some voltage loss. Weirdly, the free/stock coil I tossed in the Requiem that's on the Beater is supposed to be .26, but it's actually about 0.15. Too hot for my long draws, but probably would be fine for the Bushido. Sadly, I can't abide the aesthetics of switching them. The Beater just wants a flat black RDA. So I guess I'll have to pop a new coil in. I'll run through a battery first...it'll probably vape just right when it's low and I'd usually change it, lol.

I was afraid the Bushido was going to have some voltage drop with that two piece positive contact. I still think it is a pretty nice looking mod though, with an interesting design. I appreciate hearing your feedback on this, I was trying to find out if it did in fact have some voltage drop a couple days ago and couldn't find any mention of it anywhere.

The Requiem is a pretty good RDA, I like it. Just remember to keep the coils at 2.5mm or under. A 3mm will fit but will be so close to the airflow tubes it could end up melting them over time. I have seen a pic of someone that has done that, and it looked pretty bad.
