so hey ya-ll. I have two sub ohm devices. A top box mini, and a Kbox 200 with a TFV4 on it. Both are running efest batteries supplied by the b&m's that I bought the stuff from. I keep reading about misc electronical goo about batteries being able to supply coils and I'm completely ignorant of this stuff. Also, I'm not too into fiddly so I'm trusting the b&m dudes to do the right thing. Is this something I have to worry about?
Thanks

I'll put it bluntly
Efest Batteries = discarded battery that did not pass muster with one of the big 4 main battery manufacturers, those big 4 are LG, Samsung, Sony, and Panasonic/Sanyo (last mainly lower end). Efest does not make their own batteries, and on top of that, the batteries they sell did not pass muster to be a true spec A bin authentic so are a B or C bin resell, Efest slaps a perty new wrapper on them, then, on that wrapper prints out double what the authentic can output in amps, aka the pulse discharge rate, not the continuous discharge rate. <--That right there is the most dangerous part, puts uniformed people in danger, more of the recent e-cig incidents I have seen and read about have 70% of the time had an Efest battery in them or another re-wrap company. Trust a B&M to do the right thing and be informed, uhhh, no, unless the owner or an employee is a battery nut, will a B&M do the right thing.
They can get re-wraps from all number of questionable suppliers, plus re-wraps cost more, simple rule of retail, more hands a product touches before reaching the customer, the more expensive it becomes, so profit plays a big part here as well. Battery safety, link in my signature line has a post I've done breaking down batteries and other relevant information, also check out a member named
@Mooch (and also here
https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/members/mooch.256958/) he has charts and tests of a bunch of batteries, well worth the read.
Sony, Samnsung, LG are you safest brands to look at
