I'm a big DNA guy (not sure if you are aware of that). I have quite a few DNA200/250 mods and they are my favorite mods. I have two Triade DNA250's and like them quite a bit. I also posted my ecig file for them as well as a few other DNA mods. All you need to do is DL the file, put it on your mod and it's all set up with 7TC profiles, 1 for power, custom screens, custom theme, etc. Here's the link to the Triade 250 thread if you're interested:Maybe I'll look at the Triade DNA 250... I kind of feel like I need a "grown up" device. I don't know why... but I love the options on this thing. Someone needs to decide for me.
I try to keep it a secretI never knew you liked DNAs Steve. I thought you liked Kanger
I believe that's the case. In the USA I consider Varitube to be the main place to get the SX Minis. Also on another forum it has been reported that Yihi is just releasing one mod called the G Class instead of two different models.Ok googling around since I'm stuck in Los Angeles until tomorrow and Vivid Smoke still shows the g Class (smaller screen) at $239 and the g Class + (larger color screen) at $299. I wonder if they just haven't updated their site.
I've never tried. I rarely go as high as 130, but I guarantee someone will argue this point with you. LOL. Personally I don't see the need for that much wattage. Anything over 130 starts to make my lungs feel singed. I'm more intrigued by the other features of this mod. These Chinese folk haven't realized you can't get 200 watts out of (2) 18650 batteries..... They are either stupid, scammers, or simply liars......

I'm not arguing with you because you can. The math proves it to be so. The thing is you could, but you have to use 30 amp 18650's and then you would only be able to get it with about 3.5v and above per cell (7.0v total - 7.0v x 30a = 210watts). Battery life would be terrible and with sag figured in, it would only be for part of the runtime. These Chinese folk haven't realized you can't get 200 watts out of (2) 18650 batteries..... They are either stupid, scammers, or simply liars......

For someone with your expertise, yes. For the average user... no need. Just saying whether wattage or temp control, most users, like me aren't experts nor beginners. Most of us are at an intermediate level. Would accuracy be nice? Sure but we wouldn't be able to tell the difference. We fill a tank with the flavor of the day, screw it on, put in batteries and adjust settings to what we like. The numbers aren't as important as the end result and comfort in knowing we are vaping safely.Manufacturers need to start concentrating in accuracy rather than wattage.

looks to be a gimbal switch.Ok what's the ding-a-ling thingy above the USB hole?
I don't think it's just younger vapers that get blinded by pretty things, color screens or numbers. I myself do. When I first saw this G Class my eyes lit up. Thank god its $219 or I'd have one on preorder. I have more than enough gear to satisfy me for years. Maybe decades, but I'm going to order a Triade 250... because I like the look and I want a "grown up" mod. The reviews are pretty good and I can afford it. I like getting new things. Many of us do... look at our shelves. I agree that safety and truth in advertising would be awesome, but when has that been a priority in any advertising. It's not just the Chinese. I have yet to own a car that gets the fuel mileage in the commercials. Hell my hubs bought one of those stupid ass countertop oven things for $100 and used it twice because it didn't do as they promised in the infomercial. Advertising lies regarding what country you're in. Have you not seen the ads for the vitamins that are supposed to make a mans junk bigger... yeah their raking in millions while housewives around America remain disappointed. LOLWell I see progress.... The chip in the Ohmewrecker G2, the design of the Triade, The Rx200 and Rx200s, The Maxo, But we need to start reporting, advertising, promoting, you tubing, real numbers, real facts that have been tested. The SD mini G class..... Good idea but $219.00 ?
Most new vapers are inexperienced and very susceptible to false information and getting ripped off...... That's why this is targeted for a young audience.
I'm here not as the FDA, but as a 52 year old colleague passing on information and things I have experienced in our vaping world.
So when I see a (2) cell mod advertising 200 watts I go fucking crazy !!!! Because I see who the marketing target is.
I want to see:
A mod that will assist you by having built in presets for metals, that warns you when fumes become toxic, market the size, the looks, the battery door, the screen, the fire button, the materials, not the wattage....
We need to figure out how to keep the kids of 15 or 16 years of age away from all this vape, smoking, and non sense environment......

I will if it ever comes down in price. Although I may not be the best one to test it. I'm hardly an expert. @Wingsfan0310 would be much better at that than me, but I think he's shying away from the price too. I can't imagine they will sell very many with the $220 price tag. I'm guessing they'll have no choice but to eventually bring it down at some point. It would have to come down at least $100 for me to justify buying it. Until then I'll order my Triade. I've seen you mention the Modfather before. I have to have things that won't leak, especially when changing elevations. How is the Modfather with leaking? An RTA is the one thing I haven't bought yet. I use my RDA when I'm parked, but rarely anymore. I've been mainly sticking with my Atlantis V2, Cleito and TFV8. So far those don't leak, but I kind of miss making coils and have been thinking about an RTA.Once you get it and test it, keep us updated.. ...
I'm the same way with my Modfather RTA...... The best thing in vaping I have ever bought...... I push and advise every one to get one .... But I do it because I have had it with me 18 hours a day for 6 months.
It has been tested....

Gingervapes.com has a Boxer mod that uses the same chip but the last time I checked it is more expensive than the G Class.I wonder how long until this this chip is in other mods...
I saw that but they look flimsy. They look like they're made from nerf material. LOLGingervapes.com has a Boxer mod that uses the same chip but the last time I checked it is more expensive than the G Class.

Have you seen Daniel djlsb video on the g-priv. It is a dual 18650 and does 218 true watts. Go watch it. Not trying to argue but there are mods with dual 18650 that do 200 watts. It can be done, probably not smart to do though.Manufacturers need to start concentrating in accuracy rather than wattage.

Yeah, but is it really 130 watts what you vaped ? It could be 65 watts. .. ..???I've never tried. I rarely go as high as 130, but I guarantee someone will argue this point with you. LOL. Personally I don't see the need for that much wattage. Anything over 130 starts to make my lungs feel singed. I'm more intrigued by the other features of this mod.
Yeah, there like a nylon material. They seem to be real popular, I have seen used Boxer mods sell on ebay for close to there new price, craziness.I saw that but they look flimsy. They look like they're made from nerf material. LOL
Couldn't say for sure. I know that whether I'm at 65 watts or 120 watts, it tastes and feels the same across all the mods I currently use. I mainly use an RX200S, 2/3, IPV 5 & 6S. I tend to stick with the cheaper mods simply because of the job I do and they get banged around a lot. I won't be too upset if one gets ruined. Since none of them are "high end", I will have to compare them to the Triade when I get it. I don't have fancy equipment to test them, just taste and feel.Yeah, but is it really 130 watts what you vaped ? It could be 65 watts. .. ..???

It would be cool to see this chip in a Triade style mod. At least that would be my preference.Yeah, there like a nylon material. They seem to be real popular, I have seen used Boxer mods sell on ebay for close to there new price, craziness.

I'm excited. I'm going to order it as soon as I find the best price. Unfortunately it will sit in a locked mailbox until I get home around Christmas time. I usually don't get home but every 6-8 weeks and soon it maybe as long as 3-4 months, so I usually have stacked up vape mail. You will like the Triade... Very accurate....
That's the best mod that I have owned that gives me the most accurate wattage...

If it did that, I would never leave the House......What would make this super cool is if it was puff activated. That way you could hang it around your next somehow and have hands free vaping. LMFAO
While I agree the DNA200/250 boards are great boards (my personal favorites), I wouldn't say it's better yet since this will be the first mod this board is released in. What I'm saying is the board isn't out yet so saying something is better than it is impossible unless you are looking at a crystal ball and seeing into the future. This thing is very cool. It looks and feels very high end. The problem is I am with Manny, The DNA250 is simply a better board. Not trolling it is kind of a fact. If you like this and want to spend it then fine but it is not the finest vape if that is what you really want. Buck/Boost and doing 200W on 20A batteries which can really only sustain like 16A good luck with the plastic surgeon. What they did to prove it outright sick. Typical chinese. They could give a shit about anyones safety. If you do get this I highly recommend you do not run it over 130 and that in fact is really only like 100 anyways. It is super no doubt but 2 batteries and their board just do not cut it for that price IMO. You are paying for the case only.
