That's not what I was hoping to hear. If worse comes to worse I'll just eat it. Thankfully it was on sale and I'll only be out ~$25. If they screw me around I'll never order anything from them again and make sure I let people know about it!

Not yet, I removed and reinserted the 510 pin but that didn't help tried it on a few different DNA200's with the same results. It's getting late and at this point I sat it down. Frustration was kicking in.

Cheers,
Steve

If they won't exchange it, I'll take a look at it for you if you want.

Nevermind, I thought it was the Supreme you were having problems with, not the Griffin. My bad.

Since the deck is fixed, make sure the insulator around the 510 pin is seated well, then change the post screws. If that's not it, it's probably due to the positive post being improperly seated and there's no way to correct this as the deck won't remove from the base.

Damn that sucks now I'm really glad I didn't buy the griffin 25 I'll wait a few months and see if there's more problems. Sucks to hear eciggity is scummy with their returns for faulty products I buy almost everything through them and vapenw and never had an issue. You'd think they would all least let you send it to them so they can check out. Even my local b&m would exchange it for a new one I bought anew istick 40w tc's from them and it bricked in a week or two they opened it up to make sure I didn't get juice in it and fried the board but the inside was dry and they gave me a new one on the spot it was actually my first ever regulated mod and all I had was the mini goblin at the time so I new I didn't get it wet. Hope you figure out what's wrong!

I myself am waiting for tank to come along that has equal or better performance than the VCMT 30... But without the leaks and the P.I.T.A. wicking...

Ă€nd another thought... Sorry if I derail...
I'm hoping for an attack of 25 and 30 mm mods to put all of these 25 and 30 mm tanks on.

Well I just got the "Post a video response" from them. I'm sure as hell not going to fill it back up with juice and tip it over and take a 20 minute video showing it leaking on my desk. I'm not sure if I'm going to try and make a video with the mod on a DNA200 hooked up to Escribe (atomizer analyzer) showing the resistance climbing while just sitting there. Probably just end up eating it and chalking it up to a bad experience. One thing I can say for sure is I will never order from Eciggity again!!! Hell I get better CS from FastTech.

Cheers,
Steve

Yeah, with most vape hardware's small purchase price it's too easy to say fuck it... not worth me taking the time to get $25 back. If it's more than me sending it back on their dime, I'm moving on from the part and most important to them... the vendor.

Sucks to hear, only ordered from eciggity once and didn't have a service need but hearing about their return policy... I won't be buying from them unless they are the only place that has what I'm looking for and I just have to have it :vapemail:

My standard version Griffin 25 is going to be delivered tomorrow. I really hope I get a good one. The 22mm is one of my favorite RTA's to date.

Got my G25 today. Love it so far. Just as good as the 22mm but with some improvements. Snugger JFC and larger capacity do it for me.

I have an update on both Eciggity and the Griffin 25 if anyone is interested. I decided to talk to Eciggity again about having to make a video. They replied with a return label and asked me to send it in. Makes me feel better about their CS.

I've been laid up the better part of this week with a nasty flu/cold. Yesterday I decided to try switching the grub screws but also used a bottle brush in the holes the coils go in. I swear I saw a piece of metal come out of one of them. Long story short I rebuilt it again and so far the resistance has been stable. Either one of the grub screws was not a good match or there was a burr that was preventing a solid connection. Looks like I'm going to end up keeping it.

PS Just to prove Murphy's Law is still in effect, I decided to look at the frosted glass since I got the tank sorted. I pull out the glass and wouldn't you know the side that you couldn't see is cracked (still on 1 piece but a crack in the shape of a V from the top to the bottom). If I was a conspiracy theorist, I'd swear they put it in so the crack was hidden by the foam. It looks perfect if just looking at in the packaging. Not really a big deal, their USA service center is within an hours drive of my house (might give them a call and see if they replace the frosted glass). The Griffin itself is actually working pretty good now. It fought the good fight but in the end I prevailed :D:giggle:. Probably a good thing with the deeming regs, having another good tank on hand can't hurt.

Cheers,
Steve

Yes sir. After all the effort I put into it, it's finally rock solid stable (resistance wise). Heck, I got it on a great sale for $26 and change. Like I mentioned in the above post, with the DOOMING Regs, you can't have too many tanks imo.

Steve

I received the Black (Smoke) glass today for my Aromamizer Supreme. I normally just go with clear glass but I have to say I really like the look of this combination.
PS I think it looks just a tad darker to my eyes than it does in the picture.

I have the Billow V3 Plus too and I definitely prefer the Aromamizer Supreme. I like the V3 plus, just not as much as the Supreme. Different strokes for different folks.

I feel like any version of the Billow 3 would be a downgrade from the Boreas. And I say that as a true fan of the Billow series tanks. I absolutely love my Boreas tanks over everything else I currently own, rdas included!

One plus for the Billow V3 Plus in my book is it's not as thirsty as my Supreme. The Supreme sucks down juice like no other lol.:D

So the reason I got the supreme and not the boreas is separate control of juice and air flow.

Is there a reason I'm missing so many of you prefer the Boreas?

That's the same reason I went with the Supreme as well. That and it has knurling in all the right places.

Dude the BOREAS is 23 bucks at ECIGITY
You can't go wrong with it...
The only way to find out why we think it's a great tank is to BUY one..
The integrated JFC-AFC looks scary for a lot of folks
But that the greatest advantage of the BOREAS, wicking is phenomenal
No dry hits, and it just keeps up, unlike the other RTA/RDTA
So buy one?

For me personally I love that the afc/jfc is one working part. Never have had any issue with too little juice flow with 2 holes closed down. So its plus for me, one less thing to fiddlefuck with as far as im concerned.

I received three different 25mm RTA's in the last few days along with 8 Samsung 25R's and 8 LG HG2's. Lots of great sales so I stocked up. So far I've only had a chance to build 2 of them (Aromamizer Supreme and Billow V3 Plus). I plan to update this thread with my thoughts as soon as I have a little more time with them. From just the short time I've had them I can say (for me at least) they are a big step forward compared to my 22mm RTA's.

RTA's in question:
1. Aromamizer Supreme - I've had this one the longest and I really don't have any cons on it. Great flavor, big vapor, and easy to build (like an RDA). I have a Black on way as well. (FastTech has them for ~$32 in SS and $35 in Black without discount code MAP)

2. Billow V3 Plus - Just built it a couple of hours ago. Biggest build deck, smooth airflow, great flavor (maybe just a touch less than the Aromamizer), and big flavor. Eciggity was running a 30% off Spring Sale - got it for $27.99.

3. Griffin 25mm - Incomplete because I haven't had a chance to build on it yet. From taking it apart it doesn't feel quite as nice as the other 2 (threads don't feel quite as smooth and when trying to take off the build deck the whole tank unscrewed - probably user error). I plan to build it later tonight or tomorrow. Eciggity was running a 30% off Spring Sale - got it for $25.89

Notes All have Velocity style decks :)

Batteries:
Gearbest was having a Flash Sale, I bought 8 Samsungs 25R's for $29 and 8 LG HG2's for $35 (shipped) plus I had some discount points to knock a few more dollars off. I just couldn't pass them up at that price. As a nice touch, they included the battery cases for free. They are really quite nice (sturdy, not flimsy like some cases)

L to R Lavabox w Griffin 25mm (Top Airflow), Reuleaux w Aromamizer Supreme, Lavabox w Billow V3 Plus

Edit I hope everyone posts pictures of their 25mm attys if the mood strikes. Would be nice to see.

Edit 2 My Griffin 25 leaks from the top while inverted and my resistance is unstable rendering it useless for me in TC. I'll update if I come up with a solution. As of now I can't recommend the Griffin 25.
I'm in the process of reviewing this flood of 25mms. I'm doing the griffin 25, the tf rta, and the herakles rta-2.

That Herakles RTA2 looks real nice
It is. I like it a lot. 316L staple coils in there are pretty amazing. And wicking is SO much easier than the other 25mm beast tanks around. That wicking is so dead easy

I don't see how wicking could be easier than it is on the Supreme. Just lay it on the deck. No trying to get it behind a wick retaining ring, in a small hole, just the exact length in the juice channels, etc. I've not gotten dry hits or leaks. I have lots of RTA's and none of them are as easy as the Supreme to wick.

Filling is also easy. Shut the juice control, fill, then open it. No flipping, burping, etc. It's by far my favorite RTA I've ever had.

Cheers,
Steve
