The settings are just to calibrate it to the specific Tank/RDA/Build, it doesnt take that long, usually around 49% FSK would be a good start then its only a few percent from there, maybe 2 minutes of play after you understand it. Some people done walk around with their computers on hand you have to see if from more then your own perspective.

The Profile thing is correct but that is upcoming so Im told.
Dude
You need to get urself a DNA...
You won't regret it...

Did you get an email receipt from them? I haven't.
I ordered a vt133 from them this weekend and the email I received with the order details showed up in my promotions folder. I use gmail and it showed up there instead of my primary folder so you may want to check if it is in a different folder or even spam. The header of the email said Lance Custen.

I recommend anybody who can use a drill and a soldering iron to just BUY a DNA200 board for $60 and an Alpine 1590B Type 1 CNC enclosure with everything except the 510 hole drilled. Buy a 510, about 1.5-2 feet of stranded 14-16ga copper wire, a lipo pack that can fit inside a 1590B sized enclosure WITH the DNA200 board and 510, it comes with the buttons that hover directly over the board buttons, already cut out.

You will spend around $90 doing this.

Alpine Type 1 DNA200 1590B style CNC encosure:

DNA200 board:

http://www.protovapor.com/product/evolv-dna-200d-retail-box/

510, Magnets and Wire:

http://www.fatdaddyvapes.com/shop.html

Search amazon for a 3S lipo pack and compare the size to 1590B enclosure sizes to see if it will fit.

Then all you need is a drill bit and a tap for the 510 hole, buy according to 510 type size, a board mount for the DNA 200 (optional but it's a good idea, but not needed, Shapeways has several cheap 3d printed ones), some glue, and an iron/solder.

Sure, this sounds like work, but once you have all this shit, you can make mods and if the doomsday gets extremely doomy you can survive making your own shit.

Like I said, not only will you save money, but you can make the box yourself (using a mod you made is just a fucking satisfying feeling) to YOUR own liking, use parts you want (the AlpineTech box is just for ease, if you want to use a dremel and a CNC box for an even bigger lipo you fucking go for it, wood, 3D printed plastic, who cares, it all works), you can even wire the firing button and wattage buttons to separate buttons off the board. The DNA200 datasheet will tell you everything you need, it's on Evolv's website.

Just make sure you get a GOOD soldering iron, because those $5 Ebay irons leave a LOT to be desired. Unless you plan on becoming a full time modder like I am, don't go and buy a fucking $80 Weller station, just buy something of quality.

If the FDA shit goes nuclear the 'Ain't nobody got time for that' style of vapers will be the first to go. Learn a skill, give a man a fish you feed him for a day, teach him to fish you feed him for a lifetime.

Since Evolv just sells boards and sells to more markets than the USA, the DNA's will go nowhere even during a doomsday. But your DNA200 retail mods, say bye bye.

I have almost 70 RDA's, over 20 RTA's, over 20 Mods and over 20 DNA200 boards and 9 SX boards, plus tons of unregulated and PWM mod parts. Then I have over 5,000mls of juice, 7 gallons of ESL High Strength VG Based Nicotine, 6.5 Gallons of VG, 3.5 Gallons of PG and 8.5 Gallons of combined flavorings, then 1 gallon of PG based ESL High Strength Nicotine. Then I have HUNDREDS of feet of kanthal, nickel, nichrome, SS and NiFe-30 wires. Then plastic squeeze and glass dropper bottles for days. On top of this, I can actually make mods, build coils and DIY juice. I'm as prepared as prepared gets for the worst. If it comes out for the best, I'm sitting on a gold mine anyway because when the market bounces back everything will be in high demand.

I'm good dude.

My work costs more than $90. If you want a DNA from me prepare to spend $220-$415 because they don't even make shit that nice retail. I don't go with Alpine boxes, I get a custom CNC or wood shop to cut the box to exact customer spec, I use my own lithium polymer design from the company I work for, so I have like 75% of work in the actual battery itself as well, then I use a gold coated solid silver 510 pin, all stranded silver wire, no copper, Mitec authentic switch, onboard CNC wattage button cutouts, custom board mount.

It costs me like $220 to make. $400 if you want one. 6,200mah 3S 25C Lipo powered custom CNC milled aluminum/powder coated/laser engraved DNA200 with 100% stranded silver wire, silver and copper based high temp solder, all Escribe and mod internals inputted with the latest firmware, profiles already setup for eight different wires in TC, custom high conductivity 510 pin, magnetic door, etc.

Chip is around $70 and the Lipo thats the same as his company is around $60-$100-depending on discharge rate/capacity.. Then you have to figure the cost of the enclosure and everything else would be around $60-$80..

Just because I recommend the cheapest route for DIY DNA doesn't mean I personally take it. I mean I would if someone asked, but I'd still charged upwards of $150 for it because well my time isn't free.

Even the cheapest DIY DNA200 box is as good if not better as the best retail DNA200's. Behind that stab wood is almost always some shotty ass wiring job with gauges over or under Evolv spec, too much/too little wire, bad solder joints, etc.

DIY only saves you money if YOU DIY. If you buy a DIY mod from someone else, expect to spend more.

I've built squonk DNA200's. I don't think you'd want a squonker in the setup with the 6,200mah 3S because it'd be HUGE with a squonk kit inside it. I could make one around 2,800mah-3,200mah with a sqounk bottle in it. Or do dual 18650 with sqounk. Keep in mind this will still be le'spenseav as fuck.

I just cannot get behind the design of the 213. The silver one is MUCH better looking than the gold, but that firing button looks like it was made to cater only to left handed people and it's just.. eh.
Nah it doesn't. If anything it caters to right handed people. If thumbing the button, you can much easier change the wattage up and down with your thumb in your right hand and the screen is visible and aimed at you (no way to flip it known yet), in the left hand you have to release the device a bit and the screen is covered. For triggering the fire button its slightly easier to trigger, not much, but it is. Left handed you have the advantage of seeing the screen but it is upside down. Honestly for the most part its extremely ambidextrous for a mod. But if it leans one way or another, its leaning towards right handed usage.

As long as I'm not like, breaking any rules, I mean I'm down. I'll construct the boxes, then when they are done I will establish some form of contact with a video showing the mod working and its features, then I guess we can parallel, you pay me I ship it. I've never sold anything online before.

You have a picture of one you made?...I really don't care about the price if it's a good functional DNA 200 squonker, even 133 watt.

I no longer possess the ones I made, as I SO FAR have been local only. I could make one and show you, or rig up a schematic. It just depends how you want it. The CNC shop near me does exact spec work.

If you use TC, that might be a good thing, some have had some problems. I've never even used TC, so no complaints here, I'm in love.

I can take it or leave it. I don't require tc as I use kanthal and SS. The only time I've recently found tc necessary was with the Notch coils. Since Merlin includes some, I tested them. I had had a bad experience with the Notch coil in the Theorem, so for Merlin I went to tc, and that was much, much better.

Any suggestion for a 350j chip? Been casually looking for an enclosure for the j chip I want to pull out of my sx mini.

Found some nasty 3d print boxes and I guess the old Hammond box but I really like the alpine box. Doesn't seem like they make a box for the j chip though or my search would be over.

Varitube renegade II box for $55 doesn't look half bad but they are out of stock in all but purple, natural and red. Natural may be ok but plain, the others, nah. I could send the natural box out for powdercoat or anodizing but I just want to recieve it in the mail and get started.

I have mad soldering skills and a station so building it is no problem I just haven't found a nice enclosure to start with.

The Renegade mods are some top quality shit. But if you're looking to go DIY, I recommend you get the full 200W output and use a lipo battery. But I'm a bit biased, I'd honestly see if you can get an SX450J before the FDA stabs us in the heart.
