I can't taste the spices in my mix. I even put the TFA pumpkin spice up to 1% and TFA bakery up. It might be due to stroke damage I think. Lost some types of smell or taste.

Drop bears are a real problem. I hear they have venom in their claws that can burn through concrete if left there long enough.
Yep, and you can't vape under trees, because the smell of the vapour attracts them, and then, you're gone!
I doubled up the bread ingredients of this and it didn't make a difference, the corn just overwhelms. It's not a pleasant taste. Even if I were to drop the %, it'll still retain that flavor. It's going into the pif box.

I definitely do not have this issue. I did a mix with both cap and TFA spice @ .10 % each and in a new mix are un-vapeable. They literally are the only things I can taste.
Where might one possibly find the recipe for the jam with toast? @Teresa P I tried searching but I couldn't dig it out. I've been wanting to try something like this for a good while.

You know, after making my request, I had a rare lightning flash of inspiration and checked over at ELR where lo and behold, I found the recipe!
It took some digging but I got it. I'm making a bcf order right now so it may be next month before I can get the solub arome breakfast but I really, REALLY want to try this on. I've been eyeing that rf jam with toast for a good while.

Saturday I mixed up 30ml of Deep Fried Oreos. I had changed the recipe to use Cap Sugar Cookie instead of FA Cookie, and then changed my mind right before mixing. I should have trusted my first instinct. There is something about that FA Cookie that I just can't deal with. Am going to give it some steeping time and see if the whatever-taste-it-is will mellow out.
I'm seriously thinking about throwing FA Cookie in the trash so I'm not tempted to use it in anything else.
ETA: Wonder if I could cover it up with a percent or two of Cap Glazed Donut?

I agree HIC's Lemon Meringue Pie is fabulous. It was one of the first ten recipes I ever made and even though it wasn't my recipe, I was SO impressed with myself that I'd made something so deliciously accurate!
That's how I feel about fa meringue. That's the nastiest crap I've got in my cabinet. Even at half a percent I taste raw egg whites, and I despise egg whites!

I'm sorry. HIC is a good dude and is considered the diy god, but I mixed up the lemon meringue pie exactly as written and it was disgusting to me. I couldn't even finish vaping the 9 ml tester I made. Even after steeping for 2 weeks, all I could taste was egg white. I dumped the remaining 5 or 6 ml and put the bottle of meringue in the back of the cabinet.

To each his/her own! I haven’t tried his LMP yet. As with every mixer, including me, there are hits or misses. HIC has definitely has hits for me.....and some misses. Personal taste. I personally love meringue, to eat and vape. There are plenty of other things to use out there!
I envy folks who have properly working taste buds and can enjoy a wide variety of flavors and juices in their daily vape. Being limited to a few select flavors really sucks. I find a recipe that sounds good and a ton of people rave about it, I buy the flavors to make it and likely as not it's gonna be nasty to me! Case in point, I so wanted to love Mykreign's deep fried oreos, bought the stuff to make it, and all I taste is yeast. I let it sit for about 10 days and tried it...same thing.

I haven't tried eating anything with meringue since I had my stroke. I don't know if it would affect me the same way or not. I'm more of a cool whip fan than meringue anyway. I actually prefer cool whip over real cream if you can believe that.

There’s Joy in his recipe, if I remember. Joy definitely has that effect on some people. Beer/yeast. I’m lucky in the flavoring department.....knocks on wood!

I am the same as you since my first stroke. I have had three now, but I am in the clear because the blood clot cluster has gone. I have found my taste and smell has been affected. Eyesight and emotional part of the brain got affected. I could not feel emotions for two years. Apparently I have taught a different part of my brain to take over. I went to the doctor for three years with symptoms and he thought I was a bored housewife. It all started when I crashed my bike, and from the injuries blood clots went undetected, I had a pulmonary embolism and I have been in heart failure. I am happy to be alive, even though I am very upset and angry at the doctors. Omg sorry for the rant. I am ok and it has made me stronger person.

I just checked on ELR....there are quite a few cornbread recipes over there. I would go with tuney, Ckemist, Trey M, or Jennifer Jarvis recipes. They’re pretty good mixers, IMO. Got me thinking about mixing a cornbread recipe!

And I went the opposite way. I'm plagued with mood swings, and sometimes get as emotional as a 16 year old girl getting dumped right before prom! (Ithe wife and I barely survived that one)
