Forest Fruit will work but Boysenberry is worth having if you do berries a lot.

Thanks for posting the recipe, I'll give it a shot...just have to sub the Shortbread with JF Cookie and FA Burro. Sounds good to me.
I totally agree. Boysenberry is definitely a good one.

Back on topic, I mixed up some crack pie, GOC, @Smoky Blue Cookie and Alpine Strawberry Napoleon today.
Let me know what you think about the cookie (Smokey recipe). I can't do a flavoring order yet (need to stock up on nicotine) and want to get it all in one shot (It might save me a few bucks since I'm on a budget). The weather is still warm in the U.S.

Looks okay. However, I don't know what natural flavor could mean.

Looking at the company's response posted over at Amazonia, it seems that won't change...
---
Question:
What exactly is the "natural flavor"?
Answer:
Due to the competitive nature of the stevia market, we’re a little shy about our proprietary natural flavor’s formula. Pyure’s natural flavors are USDA Organic Compliant and does NOT include MSG, synthetics, GMO's, aspartame, sucralose, dextrose, saccharin, sugar, soy, animal excretions or bugs… (BUGS? Strange, we know, but yes, ‘bugs’ have been asked about in the past). see less

While I seldom use additional sweeteners in my mixes, I do use that stuff from time to time and am glad it lacks..."animal excretions or bugs"

This one? It works for me, too.

I always thought animal excretions are why GrimmGreen loves the Pony On Acid so much

@Artemis Smoky's Cookie is a regular for me as it's one of my OTR (On The Road) juices that I take with me on every business trip. Peanut butter, chocolate chip cookie, can't go wrong with that.

No bugs as a selling point! Lol I do like the liquid Stevia they have, but it’s expensive. I use their erythritol granulated Stevia blend and it’s the best I’ve used. But not for juice, sadly. Just coffee/tea. Thanks!

Thanks for your thoughts. At this stage I might as well plan on buying a lot of Flavorah. I'm always missing a flavor for the recipes. I'm really wanting to try the Banana PB Granola recipe. (Of course, I need two flavors for that one).

I forgot to buy sweetener, so I was wondering if I could use Pyure liquid Stevia. I use that or their granulated Stevia in coffee/tea.

personally, I wouldn't mess with store-bought stevia. I know you said you forgot to buy sweetener, so the recommendations above --marshmallow, etc-- for sweetness are great if you need it. I've read that Flavorah Sweetness is "Stevia-based"--which I assume means it's mostly Stevia and some sucralose, but it couldn't hurt to write/call them and ask for a basic break-down. Trade secrets are what they are, but I'm guessing the FLV people would be willing to give you at least some sense of what's in there. I've been using it recently and I like it a lot. Much less coil mess than other sweeteners.

Do we have a Flavorah rep here to @ ?

I belong to a low carb/keto group and I found out something today. One on One flavoring is catering towards keto people. They have some great coupons right now. Such as Ketonnati-25 for 25% off. I had no idea that they are focusing on keto. It might be how some of these vendors survive. When I start working again I might order from them since they have some keto products as well. They have one shots for vapers as well. (I had no idea).

P.S. I'm not pimping for this vendor. I'm just amazed that they will survive.

The DIY shots may be a good thing for the new folks needing to start diy. For the one shots they are automatically adding a discount code. A little pricey I think. The discount would make it 9.75 for a 30mL of flavoring. From reading the instructions this would only make 120mL of finished product. It might be easy enough for newbies. The reviews seem good. Just posting this for folks who may need the help.

There's not a lot of options, but LiquidBarn has one shots too in their tastemaker collection. Some stuff also has the recipe like water malone. Stuff from One Hit Wonder, CRFT and others, there's a handful anyway. $5 for 15ml, $15 for 60ml. Suggested mixes vary from 10-16% or so. A couple discounts may or should work, 15% off. Either "vapeladies" or "diyordie".

I'm not affiliated or anything, definitely don't get any kickbacks and have never used them. Just thought it might add to the list of diy flavor shots since Artemis brought it up.

I'm confused about keto/ketosis vis a vis vaping. Have I missed something and are we absorbing sugar and/or carbs generally by vaping? How can a vape flavor be keto?

@Artemis OK, I think I see what's happening-- they're gearing their flavors toward people who want to use them in food, right? In that case, any flavoring (without sugar) is probably keto. It's a good re-marketing strategy.

I saw that Nicotine River has some new, oil-based flavors, too--also geared for non-vaping purposes. I wish they were water soluble. it would entail fewer potential complications/injuries.

My first reaction to the Nic River email was to be a little worried, given the possibility that new DIY'ers might overlook the "not intended for vaping" notice and use them. (I was distracted by the "oil soluble" notice and I missed it on first pass myself).

At this time of change, we probably need to repeat the NO OILS OF ANY KIND IN DIY VAPE JUICE warning.

I bought a couple there with some nic, and other flavors. Hope I’ll like them. But with bans starting here soon, I’ll vape it if I got it.

They are gearing their sales toward people who do keto/low carb. Of course, right now they still promote vaping. I don't think any of their flavors have sugar in them. If they did the keto world would have a fit.

Bare with me, waking up here. Flavorah's sweetness is the best sweetener to use. a 15ml should last you at least 2-3 years. Mine has.
I can not tell you what is in it, they wont tell either. I know the only thing I can say is that there are more than a few parts to it, and it is a blend of things that are new in the field of compounds. Do I trust it? I ditched my sugar for my coffee with it. I add it to confections at home, and I use it in my vapes when I feel the urge. :) Pure and clean, js.. no crusty coils, no nasty sweet crap in my mouth.. and yeah it doesnt take much 1-3 drops in 30ml.

I can promise you, @Flavorah is just as good, if not better with keto. I add less than I have to with OoO or any other flavor company out there. and that saying again is.. less is more.. less might be better for me.. or maybe not you! :p

hmm... I joined up at the same time.. think does my badge need adjusting?
Oh hey Smoky.. you have your coffee now :D lol
