Rewicked my Asmodus C4 just now to try a taste of the Banana Creamsicle from this thread:

Now, I am not the biggest fan of banana vapes, but this is really delicious. It's a delicate banana ice cream, has very light, subtle backnotes of cherry and chocolate, is creamy and lush. If I were all about some banana, I might say it needs to be nudged a bit with a non-cream-based ripe banana at maybe less than 1%, but this is perfect for me. I like the subtlety of it.

Also the DLLT remix in that thread is good. Not the be-all and end-all, but it tastes like sweet lemon sandwich cookies, kind of a candied lemon flavor with a bit of lemon zest, and the cookie is well balanced and has just a little buttery-ness to it. I'll probably rename it, because it truly is a lemon sandwich cookie. Thus it is rechristened, "Lemon Sandy."

Worth keeping in rotation, both of them.

Gaah, I have a cold too! I had to mix up a Creme de Menthe with some tobacco and 1% Eucalyptus Menthol. Everything else is making me cough like crazy. Plus I had to dig out an Aspire K3 rig. I used to use in the mornings when I just quit smoking.

Edit: A few members recommended Quercetin for sinus stuff, and it really helps with this head cold congestion.

Most oranges leave a lot to be desired. Maybe some FA or FW Blood Orange? Might help liven things up. And maybe some TFA Vanilla Swirl? Kinds tastes like melted ice cream, to me. Besides, it’s the duct tape of DIY.....it helps most things.

Well my Candy Cane Cheesecake has got WAY too much peppermint in it. Omg! I need to cut that down to about 2.5%.

I hope if anyone mixed it, they REALLY like peppermint, otherwise they've got a bottle that can only be saved by diluting it just about in half. It is strong!

ETA: I could have sworn I mixed the peppermint at 4%. My recipe, both in ELR and here, says 3%. I'm pretty convinced that the actual mix I have is 4% because it's really strong. I have mixed peppermint at 2.5% enough times to know that what I'm vaping here isn't 3%. So I'm leaving the recipe as is. I went heavier than usual on purpose because TFA peppermint fades a lot. Maybe in another week or two this mix won't be this strong.

Okay, so I got a few new FLV flavors today and I got a rather interesting new flavor by JF. It's called Sweet Woodruff. I think it's a little like black licorice or maybe it's a anise type flavor. I loathe Black licorice but I find this to be rather mild with a nice sweetness. I think I will have fun trying different combinations with this. I even grabbed the T-Shirt they had on sale for $4.99 I like it!

That's why whenever you have made one public I have clicked on adapt and save them to my private recipe stash. Always saved as private to respect your IP (Intellectual Property).

I mixed up 30ml each of my PebbleSicle and @wildgypsy70 Holy Apple Cream Filled Doughnut, which is a one-shot she shared with me.

I doubt there were ever any two recipes mixed up at essentially the same time that would be more different.

The PS is kid-fruity, Skittles and ice cream. HACFD is 'way grown-up fruity. It's apple with a boozy side to it, spicy with a bit of a kick. I love it, can't wait to see how it steeps out! It's an adventure!

I haven't single-flavor tested it either. I made up a coconut pie recipe that was adapted from Nick Evans LMPTBY, using CCP instead of LMP, and it wasn't anything to write home about. That's another mix that I haven't tried lately, it's probably stashed in the steeping box, not seen for months now. If I can find it, I'll sample it again and see how it is now that it's had time to steep.

As soon as that started getting low I bought a 30ml ( the chefs flavor creative one though ) Make sure it is the Premium one, and I just ordered another 30 along with some new things I have been wanting to try. Chef's is the only place that carries it ( that I know of ) and I use that one Custard a lot! Takes about 10 days to get it and I do the one without the tracking as it is a bit cheaper shipping.

I have tried to stay away from very "custardy" custards - can't take that butyric acid flavor/smell and don't have the patience to steep mixes for months, unless it just happens by accident (which of course takes no patience). Staying away from, for example, Cap VCV1 and similar.

I would be interested also. See, that is about the only change I made to the recipe Arden suggested. I can't do caps at all so I subbed with INW for the Vader clone.

Start around 1%, this is an eggy custard without vanilla and no DAAP. Steep 3 days to a week.

We've discovered that in bakeries, the OOO PS helps bring out a "golden crust" sort of flavor, especially makes white/yellow cakes and light (as in, not chocolate) cookies more realistic. It does add sweetness, but isn't as strong as sweeteners. You can use 1% of it in a cake recipe and it's about like adding another 0.4% or so of sweetener. More like it attaches to butter flavors and adds that wonderful crust.

I've wanted Flv Cream, too. Thanks for the reminder.

There is another place in the UK that also rebottles FA. I'm pretty sure I've seen it in a US site as well. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of the places. In my experience, Chef's has been the best for me to do business with anyway.

FLV Custard is eggy. Very eggy. No vanilla. Thick. Of course, that’s my opinion. Their Vanilla Custard(again, my opinion) is more we’ll rounded and less of the above.
