@wildgypsy70 did you get a chance to play with the CNV Lemon Cream Wafer the other day?

I just ordered the CNV Lemon. And it’s shipped!

I’ve not had time this week(or space.....not enough alone time!)to do much. The only thing I managed to do is sniff a bunch of lemons to see if any I have come close to what’s needed. Oh, and I made a SFT of CNV Vanilla Pudding to see if that’s in there.

Mixed up a couple of new things. Used my Lemon Sandy recipe to make a Butter Pecan Sandy, also mixed up a new one I'm calling Giddyup Juice, named and patterned with VapeWild's Cowboy Cooler in mind. Yesterday mixed Spice Gum, which I can already say needs work and is not at all what I had in mind. I really wanted a clove gum. This is not horrible, but also not "it." The other two mixes are pretty darn tasty.

Butter Cream (CAP) 1%
Butter Pecan (FW) 2.5%
Fruit circles with milk (Purilum) 2%
Marshmallow (FA) 1%
Pecan (TPA) 1%
Reindeer Poop (FW) 0.5%
Shortbread (INAWERA) 2%
Sugar Cookie (CAP) 2%
Super Sweet (CAP) 1% <-- Next time I'll probably mix this at 0.6%

Total flavors 13%

If it were me I probably would not buy the Reindeer Poop just for this. It's a terrible flavor except for its use for the acetyl pyrazine that's in it. Instead, just sub it for about 3-4 drops each, in each 30ml, of FA cocoa and either FA cinnamon Ceylon or TFA cinnamon spice.

I did! They just arrived today. Yay! And lemon does fade.....give it a week and see where it is.

I’m still thinking maybe Molinberry may have something to do with all this, being the same company, and all. I’m working all weekend, so no playing for me......but next week, I should have plenty of time to do experiments.

I wonder if adding a little bit of the FE lemon might work. That is one lemon that I have not noticed fading.

The one that keeps tapping me on the shoulder is Hangsen Lemonade. @Just Frank talked about bright, sweet lemon, which the HS Lemonade is, and I am not experiencing much fading with it at all. I added "tart" to it with just a little bit of Inw Lemon Mix.

Yes, ma’am! VSO Blueberry is pretty damn good as a solo blueberry. Doesn’t “need” the layering, but, of course, would ultimately benefit. I’ve ran it as the solo blueberry and it was pretty awesome. A very good mix of natural and candyish.....but leans to the natural. Definitely worth having to order directly(unless you’re already ordering from Chefs).

Flavourart's new (Special Indian) Mango flavor is really good IMO. I tried it solo and liked it a lot. It's not to funky or weird and it's pretty potent. Next I mixed it with FA Apricot, 2% each and 2% FW Bavarian Cream. Lovin' it..

Isn’t it! I love it. The new FA Blueberry Ripe is also fantastic, if you’re into blueberries. Probably one of the most authentic ones out there.

Hello! No one really knows where commercial companies get their flavoring. They could get them from where we get them(TFA, Capella, Flavour Art, etc...) or could have a proprietary blend made from the same companies.

Cloning is challenging, to say the least. And really, none of us has ever “cloned” anything. The chance of actually 100% nailing a recipe is astronomical.

That said, first thing I would do is check ELR and see if anyone else has tried to clone it. Otherwise, let us know what the profile is and maybe someone can steer you in the correct direction. Welcome to DIY!

There appear to be some clone flavorings marketed in Europe. If you Google "Halo Torque 56 clone" maybe you can find something that will work,

I'm not familiar with Halo flavors, nor do I mix tobaccos, so unfortunately that's all I can suggest. Good luck!

Flavorah, Inawera and Hangsen have the best tobacco flavorings, from what I’ve heard. I’m not a huge tobacco person, so I can’t help much.

Also, while you’re looking into recipes/flavorings, head over to All The Flavors or ELR and look up Fear(he’s a mixer). Among the general mixing population, he’s considered one of the better tobacco mixers. I’m not a tobacco person, but I even enjoy his mixes! Max Savage is also a pretty good tobacco mixer, for more variety in your searching.

I know this seems complicated and time consuming, but it’s worth it. Really, really worth it. Especially with all the bs coming down from the FDA. We all need to learn how to mix if we want to keep vaping.....and it’s waaaaay cheaper. And more fun!

Google "Halo Torque 56 recipe" and there are a few that show up. I cannot vouch for any as Torque was not one of my faves back in the day when I vaped Halo.

Okay, so I am sick. Dang it all. All those precautions I took with carrying hand sanitizer and a mask and see. Now I don't think it is "the" virus. Symptoms are not the same, I think it's just an icky head cold. BUT I decided to play with a few different flavors as I thought about a juice from years ago and the man who made them sort of went poof ( don't know what happened to him ) The flavor combo was like the best kept secret ever and I loved that stuff. It was by the Vape Tree and it was called Banyan tree.

Anyway today I tossed this together and holy crap is this stuff yummy and I haven't even steeped it yet. I am going to call it "Right before Sunset"

Deb, how prominent is the tobacco in this? I don't normally vape tobaccos, but do have TFA RY4 Double that I bought to use for my sister. If it very obviously tastes like tobacco, I might be better off making a cookie out of this instead. What do you think?

I don't think it tastes like tobacco at all. I have not tried the TFA brand but why not make up 5ml"s and see what you think. I'm still vaping on it from the batch I made yesterday. I love it. Or maybe cut the Ry4 to 1% to start? I will say that JF Honey Peach is a strong one. I had first done it with .05% and that was too much for me and it drowned out the others flavors. I am not normally a peach person but just one drop in a 10ml was perfect.
