School was so much better back then, kids actually learned how much our country means, it wasn't brain wash we all just new it was only right.
I'm going to be a killjoy. I have a real problem with this. Someone asked AI to make a picture of a bunch of "hippie kids" saying the Pledge of Allegiance. No way every kid in class had a hippie headband on, and no hippie I ever knew would have had those sentiments. They all wanted the government dead, and war was evil, and everyone who "killed babies" and fought in the war was also evil and should be dead. It's just not believable. It's a pretty picture, but it might as well be unicorns.
There. Was I Debbie Downer enough? Of course, I share those sentiments, and I said the Pledge every morning with my hand over my heart, but I'm just saying no hippie kids I ever knew did.
I was just basically goin for the idea here, thought a couple times before puttin it on but the idea forced me to.

Yeah, and throw in Roman numerals and their brains REALLY explode! ROFL! Hey! I have an idea! All us old folks have to do is write in cursive, use rotary phones, and drive stick shifts, and the kids nowadays will never figure us out. We could have a Secret Society, LOL!
Oh, so many evenings around the table with gramma, mom, and the other kids, playing Chinese Checkers. I loved clicking the marbles against each other. Such a satisfying clicking sound...
I still have some of that old Tupperware. Lids for some of it too. It's a shame nobody makes that kind of quality anymore.
