Any sense of exclusion im sure would be dispelled if a person truly needed help and reached out for it.
If a person turned up at the door of the church I am associated with needing help or food they would get it regardless of race, religious beliefs or none.

That they are run by those who believe, and choose to express that, I believe is their rightful choice to do so. The help they have given over the yrs to who knows how many millions of people is enormous.
There are others like the Salvation army and the likes who are Christian and yet hold out their hands offering help and care to millions each year, regardless of what those whom they help believe as do these in the links.
