Should probably get up and go get a Mod to vape this on instead of the 521 Tab.

The Serpent Mini is pretty cool. When I finish this tank need to take out the lazy 24 guage build I dropped in and put a fused clapton in it. Think that should get a bit more flavor out of it. Hasn't quite replaced the Moonshit (@ej1024) for me, but haven't spent enough time to really know yet. The 521 Tab would get the award for most ergonomically challenged box mod, but I've had worse vapes.

It was just a lot. Either a huge blast on the front end or a ton of heat on the back depending how I built the atty. Overall, didn't really care for the box either. I probably could have done a bit more experimenting with it, but something else shiny came along.

Noisy Cricket. Experience was a bit on the intense side for me.
Build higher or try claptons/Mini Fused Claptons...
2 x 28KA1/38N80 or KA1 (Dual Coils with 9 Wraps/3mm ID) should do it
Perfect series builds:

Smooth warm heat and pretty flavor packed...Also very easy on batteries, you can vape for a good 5 hours with a build like this.

In my experience the cricket is nice. Gotta consider its a 20 dollar piece, youre not going to get engraved brass for that. Its cheaply made but functions well. Only real gripe i had with the cricket was thay it did get real hot. The material used on the casing transfered heat fairly quick. The seasaw function it had was phenominal though i really enjoyed that but that was probably what produced the biggest voltage drop in the whole mod. I dont think you could even get 8v in that one id love to see some tests done on it.
When i got this i realized how much power the cricket is lacking.

Originally i wanted that lucifer but i didnt want to have to deal with shipping from canada, couldnt find it in the states and im not a huge fan of clones. Thats when i went with the mcm underground. I might pull the trigger on the lucifer when i find it in the states.

I need to find me one of these trigger contraptions.
Its very nice on the hands...I wish one of them would use Magnets on the Trigger...that would be amazing!

@raymo id wait for dragonsdenvapor to get back in stock theyre gonna get a newer series that have different colors, i saw those on the mcm facebook. I got mine from puffpuffvape and it showed up dirty as shit probably wasnt even condusive i had to perform a deep deep deep cleaning probably wont be ordering from them anymore. The rda i got from dragonsdenvapor and the shit shined with no machine oil and not a scratch on the thing, it was beautiful. Dont know if that was an mcm quality control issue or if its thendistributor but the mod was in rough shape didnt like that too much but whatever its like new now my wife shones her jewelry and handled it for me.
@StereoFreeze i think if you dont like a guns blazing type of hit you and decide you do want series you can build on the ohm line or .8 or something around there and it should give you a pleasurable experience plus cells will last a long ass time.
To give ya an idea i have a .35 ohm coil in the 13h9h sitting on the cricket and i installed a .52 series build raymo made for me (ever so elegantly i might add) in the underground and that .52 is balls to the wall compared to the .35 in the cricket..... on fresh cells i gotta take half second pulls that unload loads of clouds and after that it gets a little more normal... the shit was still hitting hard as hell with hb6s and i changed em just cause it made me nervous to be hitting on them in a mech for so long.... they didnt even feel weak.

@martnargh anything from the phillipines is like that on arrival, atleast everything Ive bought..its the climate change and weather that seems to make it patina faster...I will wait until I see DDV back in stock as its one of the sites Im always browsing, that and PHSUE

IMO that is one of the best RDA's out there....I like it much more then the Goon and it feels 10x's more high quality...Plus you can mount coils much easier in it with just as many options..

If you need some nice Series builds I can pump some out for you for a nominal fee ;) If interested just PM me.

Might take you up on this. Just learned how to make fused claptons last night. Tried free hand earlier in the week and failed miserably. Picked up some of the whatever the hell the fishing things are called and they made all the difference. Maybe should have tried regular claptons first.

Make sure when you get swivels get atleast 200lns Rated Ball Bearing Swivels as they can bind from pressure from the tension, and use 3-6 Daisy Chained! The gauges that I use for those Series builds can be a nightmare for a beginner builder to wrap as they easily break from the same tension and wrapping tension, this is why I offer them. They may look simple but those hair thin gauges can be frustrating to work with!

What do you use to shine brass?

Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
Ketchup and a toothbrush, then rinse and use Dawn with a toothbrush, rinse and dry....I did a tut a little while ago if I can find it...Let it sit covered in a thin layer of ketchup for 5 minutes and it will be shinier then when you got it....then make sure to clean it off completely..

MAKE SURE ITS HIENZ! some other brands arent as acidic!

You can use Lemon Juice and Vinegar also

Swivels! That's the word I was looking for. I used 4 or 5 strung together, have no idea what they are rated for. Made some 24/36, 26/36, and 28/36 fused claptons (nichrome). Running the 28/36 in my Avacado and the 26/36 in the Tsunami. Flavor is unreal from these coils.

That all Depends on the build...I like the Airflow and Chamber size but the Brass Authentic I got was pretty poor in quality...I use it for more coilporn builds then anything right now..

Yea @anschutz54 gave me his after it stopped working...found out when I tore it down there were a few solder points with frayed wires that were giving inconsistant readings....I replaced all the wiring and it reads just like the Geekvape 521 I have now ;)

I'm about to order a dual fire from USA Ohm Meters. (and probably a parallel 26650)

Glad to hear you fixed it. The CM 521 is my favorite to build on, tools don't hit the deck when twisting screws. The USA meter has one annoying trait, there is a USA logo that shows on the screen every time you click over to the ohm meter and lasts for 3-4 seconds. Doesn't sound like much, but after awhile it seems like you are waiting and waiting to see the resistance reading.

I have a small USA meter, I love it. Wish I bought the dual fire instead of that pos cm 521.

If you get a USA fire meter, for sure get the dual battery. I tend to agree that the CM is a pos as it failed, but still like the form factor.
