Sent from a Galaxy far far away

Thanks for reminding me to order some micro mesh and renaissance wax.
I have beeswax but prefer not to use that on colorful wood.

I like colors on a mech, but not the overt garish/pimpy type of color effects/combinations, and, the chosen color combination has to "connect" with the design style in some certain specific manner that I appreciate, to give it that classy look-and-feel that separates it from the ones that are merely fancy or are so flashy or fashion related that they tend to become boring over time. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I never liked the idea of buying new clothes each season of the year and then throwing them all away after only having worn them 3-4 times or something like that. You know. For me it's always been about timelessness. I like metal or black too, but nice things can also be done with colors on a mech. As for regulated mods, I quit buying them 3 years ago, and only ever made 4 regulated mod purchases, one of which is an ohms reader that has the full feature set of a mod. All 4 of these ones happen to be black, but I'm kind of like who the fuck gives a shit what's the color of a regulated mod anyway... it's just a regulated mod. Regulated mods are for the noobs. lol
Well, I use mechs and regulated and I'm not a noob. Lol. But I respect your opinion. Was there once. As far as mechs go I prefer SS or nickel plated or silver. Don't like aluminum. I just like easy to clean and maintain mods. I'll use a MO mech if it's nice.

I see these type of things often here. Is that stabalised wood or some resin type!?
I have always been waiting for, and wont hold my breath as its a looooooong shot.
A mod that is in the 150 to 200 watt range. With sides that are true blue green abalone shell.
That for some reason reminds me. I as a kid had my first pocket knife with real NZ blue green abolone shell handle/sides. Was my birthday present. No fake but a really good pocket knife that was hand made and given to me by my parents. I lost it in the bush just 2 days after i got it. I was utterly devastated. Have searched for years for one the same, but never seen one ever like it. :(
It lays in the bush somewhere near Mt Buffalo in Victoria, sadly lost. ?
Look for an HCigar R150. Someone might still have one kicking about.

I've owned more mechs than I can count, but at the end of the day I guess I'm still a noob?

Part of being a noob translates to not knowing the fact that aluminum mechs can be easy to clean and maintain also, fairly effortlessly that is, if only you know how. (It doesn't take to be an amazing expert to be able to know this... the definition of a noob is someone who not only lacks expert knowledge, but also lacks the kind of basic knowledge that is extremely easy to find simply by doing a quick search on the internet.) Else it's called pure laziness I guess, which is okay too, and in fact I have a tendency to be pretty lazy myself... just that I am selectively lazy when it comes to learning about stuff, and, persistingly wasting time by fucking stuff up as a result from staying always too lazily uninformed makes me feel knackered. lol

That said, my hands are not permeated with concrete dust or anything that would transform my skin into sandpaper so, cerakoted mechs and lacquered mechs are not a problem to me. Usually I can tell how careless a typical tube mech user is, simply by looking at the button of their mech. I told a friend not to put his Side Piece Slim in the pocket of his training jacket even when sitting on the couch in front of the TV. Use a side table, I said. A couple months later I was at the vape shop when he walked in with his Side Piece Slim in his hand... needless to say the mod had dropped from his pocket, onto a corner of a hard surface that caused the bottom of the mod to be dented so severely the mod had become a piece of scrap metal, and the ultem cap of his Carnage RDA was shattered. Right now he uses a cerakoted Side Piece he bought new a couple months ago, the cerakoting on the bottom of which is already gone and it's gradually starting to show past the edges on the side. Some people will just never learn how to keep a beautiful mech beautiful. My most recent addition was a nickel plated Eagle by Cipher Mods. Yesterday I spent 3300 Euros on another pair of mods from this same brand... both of these are hand engraved and are one of a kind (one is heat treated titanium, one is red delrin).

You have a tendency to denigrate people. I don't like aluminum because it is easily stripped - I'm not going to argue this. I have people come to me with top caps stripped and have had it happen to me. I'm quiiite aware of how to take care of a mod, thank you, and don't need a lecture. I have numerous high end devices - so what. Having a preference towards certain mods does not make you a noob. Insulting people makes you something else though. You need to reign in your arrogance and stop assuming you know more than everyone else. I know you are intelligent and know mechs. So do a lot of members on this site.

You have a tendency to denigrate people.
Some people have a tendency to refuse to see the truth, and, the fact that the truth hurts is not my fault.

Regardless of whether you want to argue this, it only happens if you apply brute force and/or you got a shitty mech. Case in point: neither of both of these two simple truths are my fault, and that is still regardless of whether you think my pointing out basic knowledge like that is denigrating people. You don't like to learn the basics? Then go sulk in a corner. Seriously. Cry me a river.

I lol'd.

Oh yes it does. Even noobs can have numerous high end devices of course, but that was not my point, and, having a preference towards regulated mods is, more often than not, a clear sign of being a noob─which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as even the most experienced were noobs before they became experienced. You might think that what I meant was that every single person who uses a regulated mod is a noob, and that there can be no exceptions to this. But the fact you think that's what I meant is why you are denigrating. Or maybe you're just too stupid to know conspicuous sarcasm when you see it, in which case you need to really understand that this particular part of vaping is just a hobby. Obviously.
Insulting people makes you something else though. You need to reign in your arrogance and stop assuming you know more than everyone else. I know you are intelligent and know mechs. So do a lot of members on this site.
What makes you think I assume I know more than EVERYONE else? I never claimed to be an expert, nor even think that's what I am, yet, for some strange reason, some certain individuals on here are arrogant enough that they keep making these kinds of insinuations about me all the time. Let's face it: if you felt that my remark about people who use a regulated mod was aimed at you and you had to defend yourself because it got you offended, then you are not just a noob. Worse, you are a little bitch. That's simply because you don't get offended if you're not a little bitch. ?

Damn that's a beefy mod there. Love the finish. Wish I had gripnade money for you man. Those are pretty cool conversation pieces as well
It's a great mod. I was just messing with you about the gripnade. But I can tell you that the gripnade is a quality hard hitting mod. I can also tell you that you will thoroughly enjoy the purge skull and shield. Palmer's Powders will murder it out for you for $35

I think I like the brass. I can see the detail better. And there's always a patina. Lol
