Just starting out. One thing I can say without a doubt, neither is ever going to fall out of rotation for me, as long as I am into rdl. Both shine on like a crazy diamond

Splittin hairs, imo. Both are right on par with each other. Citadel is a tad more airy wide open then the Venna, but I'd be hard pressed to say which I like better. Totally fine with either.
I like it, it is a great squonk RDA.
This is the first time I've used it on a mech and it works real well.

Would you say you notice a big difference? They are awfully close to me.
I always thought the venna was a bit to tight for me and I could never get the same flavor out of it that I did from the citadel. Maybe it was the build I was using. Regardless of what we're rda I end up trying I always end back to the citadel.

Venna is definitely tighter. In the begining I thought just barely, but through more use, more noticable for me. Flavor for me is basically identical. I have my standard rdl in there, .38 SS round build. I think I will try the Citadel a bit lower next time. With the bit more air, I feel it would shine with a bit more power.
Yeah in my citadel right now I have a .18 alien at around 60 watts and it perfect besides the fact that I still haven't got my taste back

Never realized how nice the nite DLC looks...I have pretty much always just auto-ordered stainless kayfuns. Nice matchy matchy!
The more I use this, the more I love it. The clone of this mod was so very terrible and the OG is so very good. MCM can machine some stuff. I'd have to break out the multimeter but I'm pretty sure this is my hardest hitting mech squonk. It's kind of a beast.

Thanks! Yep, 21700. Build is dual Ni80 FC at ~0.13 which is kind of my standard 25mm dual coil build.

That's about what I'm saying about my first boro mod, too - I don't hate it. I don't love it either. There has been a time or two when I thought I might hate it, but so far that has passed. I do wish now that I had just waited to buy a Billet Box. Or maybe not. If I don't love the bridge in a Supbox, then chances are I wouldn't love it in a Billet Box and it would have just cost me $70+ more.
I mech squonk pretty much exclusively so this is a big departure from my normal gear.
I have nothing to compare it against but the Vessel RBA is producing good flavor and I like the draw at wide open. It is also very easy to build.
I had a BB briefly in 2018. I liked it with vapeshell RBA. But I felt like I was cheating on squonkers
So I raffled it for a wildlife rescue
The struggle is real. My squonks are sitting on the desk looking at me accusingly.
I am a squonker, first and foremost. But, I do recognize the appeal of boro mods now. I bought the Pulse for one reason - to see if I jive with [HASH=151945]#borolyfe[/HASH] before buying a mech boro from a particular modder I enjoy supporting.
